Front of tank had label from All Star, the company that installed it. 9:00 am I called and was told the company was now part of Reimer. A technician would come to assess tank. He would call first to arrange a time. 11:30 am Tech arrived and introduced himself. Nicholas said tank needed to be replaced. He presented options. We decided to replace it with same model. Nicholas said he would be back to install it this afternoon. 2:30-4:15 pm Nicholas returns and installs new unit. Wow! So pleased to have new rank installed on same day! The company prides itself on meeting customer needs and service. And they deliver! Excellent communications from Reimer staff throughout the day. Invoices which itemized work to be completed etc. were emailed before installation. Nicholas who did installation was excellent at explaining the initial problem, the options for replacement available, and progress during installation. He was courteous, experienced, knowledgeable, and an asset to the company. Based on our experience today, we highly recommend Reimer. Plus: There was no surcharge for using a credit card.

Got no/showed twice. I got another call about the thermostat and the winter service being done. Tech shows up, knows nothing about the thermostat but is here for the winter service( mind you I have been using vacation time for all these no-show appts) Adam the tech went to the basement to start working. After a few I can hear him having a spirited conversation with someone. One hour later he comes upstairs to tell me he cannot service are furnace because the previous tech from last year stripped some sorta nozzle and put equipment in, incorrectly. Which makes sense because the house smelled like oil for a day or two. A week ago I get a call about coming out to replace and fix what was broken last year. I ask for Adam the tech that went into detail with me about what all was done wrong. I asked the phone rep for Adam since he seems to know what he is doing. I'm told she will check his schedule and get back with you. Fast forward to today, I get a call that the tech is in his way, I am at work and the wife is a teacher, off for the summer, she is shopping and about 30 minutes away from the house. I ask the phone rep can I call you back to make sure the wife can get home. I'll call the number I was told to call and go to a phone center, which is of no help. I have four more years on this contract and will not do business with Roland J Down. The reason I used them was a family recommendation.

Two days ago, my Lenox Central Air stopped throwing cold air. I called Appolo, since I bought it from them, realizing it was under warranty for 5 years.I was told by the repairman that there was no coolant in the system and I would be charged to diagnose where the leak was. He informed me the pin hole was in the evaporator coil and would need to be replaced. I was told I had to pay for today's charge and would be notified with the total amount for repairs. My charge for the technician to come and diagnose the issue was around $500 (no repairs included).y I shared the price with some friends only to discover how ridiculous the price was. This company wanted to charge over $3000 in addition to repair my unit. The warranty did not cover any labor and would not cover the $3000 part because I did not have the annual cleaning. I had allready used a plunger and an auger to free it, but it appeared to be further down than just the toilet. So they took the toilet off the base and checked that out, which I also checked out, and the line was frozen. That could be very possible that had something in the line that was blocking it from going out. They said they could try to work on that but it would be very expensive, so I declined in knowing Spring would be here eventually and possible get and opportunity to free it then. Beside the fact, that since winter will be here for a while it would probably freeze up again and the cost would not be worth it in this time period. In the meantime I am using a potty seat for the disabled and have a portable septic tank to empty the pail into which is working out fine now in the meantime until spring comes. But my kitchen and bath water are going down freely, so of no major concern right now.
