One cleaning lady accidentally broke a glass shelf of the fridge, and Maico agreed to deduct from my cleaning bill the price of the replacement part listed on the fridge manufacturer's website. Really fantastic cleaning service. Once I contacted them they responded to me within 10 minutes. I asked for a specific date within the next week and they were very accommodating. That day, I left a key with my doorman and they came and did a fantastic, thorough job (especially wiping down every surface which sometimes doesn't happen.) They vacuumed the carpets, mopped the floor, even cleaned and put away dishes my husband had left int he sink. Our apartment looks so nice for our house guests. I am very happy. I've utilized the services of MK roughly 5-6 times. My condo was always left quite clean and the professionalism of the individuals who conducted the services was stellar. That said, the administrative functions and communications that MK practices are quite poor. I recently had to call/text after my appointment was a no-show only to be told that the group would be an hour late. Not long after, I heard back again that the team was still running late and wouldn't show up until about two hours after our originally scheduled time. In fairness, I proposed and was offered $20 off. Out of fear of more delays I decided to cancel. Another grievance I need to express was that a friend of mine who used to use MK at their house which was significantly bigger than my 800 square foot condo was charged the same price. Finally, there was an instance in which the team showed up at a time which I clearly indicated via text that I could not support. Yes the Venmo option is convenient and yes the service is great but at this point I do not feel like the juice is worth the squeeze. I do not feel like I'll be using MK in the future after too many bad communication mishaps. read more

First off, they were very accommodating to my schedule. They showed up on time and did a fantastic job cleaning up my place. My apt. is about 650 sq ft and it cost $120. They were on time but didn't do a great cleaning job. just lightweight cleaning. impossible to inspect everything as they wait for you to say 'okay' at the door all packed up afterwards. they didn't clean anything they couldn't reach and are hoping that you don't notice. and maybe most landlords don't for an empty house but I do. then the office claimed that x part wasn't part of the cleaning deal, until you send them a copy of a message that had promised that x part was going to be cleaned, etc. Basically a waste of money and I'll have to do all the cleaning myself. the office said they could send the people back to re-clean but that would essentially be a waste of time. read more
