I've tried their chicken bowl with veggies and rice and either garlic sauce or teriyaki out for dinner with my dad. It was delicious and a generous serving. Lots of vegetables too which I loved. Very filling. I've also tried their tonkatsu Ramen and it was delicious, full of flavor and very satisfying and filling (had to take some home with me). I ate this when out with my mom for lunch. Me and my mom love the edamame appetizer. I tried their Salmon Teriyaki bento box for lunch out with my mom recently as well and it was very good. Enjoyed my meal very much and the service was great! Ambience was great too, loved some of the Japanese decor incorporated in the design of the restaurant. Highly recommend any of these dishes.

Finally tried this spot in our area because we were craving sushi. The service was top notch; we arrived 5min before the end of happy hour, the waitress worked very efficiently to make sure our order was in. Throughout the night she checked on us on various occasions, great job! The food was pretty good, nothing extraordinary. The highlights was the ahi tuna tower, it had a generous portion size and the tuna tasted fresh, not fishy at all. The sushi was on par, nothing to complain about either. Considering the friendly staff, happy hour price, and the quality, we'd most likely return again. If you need a casual sushi spot, we rec you give it a shot!

FOOD IG: @northtx.gemz **** WHAT THEY'RE KNOWN FOR: SO many kinds of sushi. A huge variety and quality is never sacrificed! THE VIBE: very spacious inside. Modern and clean! The outside is deceiving because the inside is cuter than you think. PRICE: ~$75 WOULD I COME BACK? Yes! **** Overall Rating: 10/10 - A hidden gem! Definitely making this my go-to sushi spot because the quality here was great and the choices are immaculate - The service here is amazing. Everyone is incredibly nice even though we came close to closing (lol sorry) they were still accommodating and welcoming (we left like 10 minutes after closing don't worry!) - We honestly ordered way too much food (as usual) lol but highly recommend the sashimi platter which was only $30 which I thought was a great deal for the large cuts of fish. - I loved the fireball roll you can never go wrong with a deep fried roll. The MK roll is the same you can't go wrong with a cucumber wrapped roll. - I highly recommend the heart attack which is my personal favorite at any Japanese restaurant is the deep fried jalapeños! - This place is perfection and is so underrated. Definitely check it out, they have a Fort Worth location too!

Appetizers. My family and I will literally go here for their appetizers and that's it, but food is sooooo good no matter what you get. We usually get other things like combination fried rice and sushi rolls, but I forgot to take those pics. Anyways hands down best in the area that I know of. Next time I go I'll grab more pics!

Great little place OMG have passed by it so many time and finally went in on Subday, realy simple lovely place, there is a sushi bar and an liquor bar area to sit and of course booths and tables. Service was amazing, loved the waiters recommendations, saki was great, and we will definatly be back!

Stopped by here for lunch the other day. The service was good and my server checked up on me often. I felt like their prices are a little high compared to others. I started out with the beef tataki and eel roll. If you like eel, you can never go wrong with an eel roll. The beef tataki, on the other hand, was a little too cooked for me. I'm used to slightly seared beef tataki, but this one was definitely not, which is why I gave 3 stars. I ordered the nigiri after finishing the eel roll and it was delicious. The salmon was so fresh!! I would give this place another try but just order the raw sushi.

Love, love, love this place. My first time ordering was using UberEats. Beloved loves Asian food and was feeling like sushi so we gave it a try. She ordered a Bento box and I decided to order with her because I saw an interesting appetizer called Deep Fried Monkey. I'm glad I was curious because it turned out to be mushrooms stuffed with cream cheese and crab, battered and deep fried. Oh my! I'm a southern girl, Georgia born and bread, so if you say it's deep fried it had better be to perfection. It did not disappoint. The second time we ordered through UE and I had to have the deep fried monkey again and decided I'd get a roll. I saw the Reggae Roll the last time, fried shrimp, mango, crab topped with avocado and strawberries and a mango sauce, and thought it sounds interesting, so I gave it a try. It was delicious. I believe Beloved had Ramen. At this point, they have two twice satisfied customers. The third time, we went by the restaurant after a shopping trip and picked up an order to go. Beloved decided on a crispy roll of some kind and I repeated my order. The place is dimly lit making for nice ambiance. The staff was courteous and kind. Service was quick without sacrificing the excellent food quality we had come to expect. I'm already thinking ahead to my next selections: Lobster Heaven, Shrimp Tempura, Louisiana, Spider, Beach, Crunch, and 1/2 the Tempura Roll selections...

MK roll, great quality sashimi but falls apart too easily and heavily relies on cucumber quality on your particular day.

Nothing extraordinary, nothing horrible. Came here for lunch looking for something special, $40 later Ieft indifferent and somewhat disappointed. The chicken teriyaki bento box consisted of some kind of pre-packaged warmed up chicken that had seemingly fake grill marks. I would bet money that it had not seen a grill in the 1hr I spent here. The quality of fish here is high, all things considered it's excellent. However, the MK roll was also just okay. The sushi chef is professionally trained and has traditional sushi chef skills, though the roll itself lacks solid construction and it falls apart too easily. In addition the cucumber wrap was a bit bitter. I would stick with sushi here, the only guiding light in this establishment is the sushi chef and great quality fish.

I had a great time here at MK's Sushi. We came on Saturday afternoon not busy at all. The food was very good. I got a bento box with shrimp tempura and tempura veggies. It was very good I will try that meal again. The price was fair for the size of the bento box. They have a lot of bento boxes to choose from and a course sushi. I think it was a lunch menu so it might have been cheaper then evening's prices. MK's has a full bar but the bar tender or waitress was not sure how to make some drinks. They do have happy hour started at 3pm maybe then the real bartender shows up. I had a martini very good. Only one it was lunch time. They also have a very good drink menu to pick drinks from. The place is very nice inside with plenty of room nice décor. The service was friendly and fast. Not busy so no wait for us. Parking is strange out front everything is reserved. So make sure you park in the right place. It must be a crowed parking lot at night. There are a few bar restaurants that use the same parking lot.

It's located in Hurst in a little strip mall that's mostly empty but you can see the concentration of business and cars in the corner on the side where this restaurant is, when we first walked in we both noticed a bit of a strange smell like I would describe as mildew and I think that's because they were running two portable air conditioner units inside so I don't think this is something that's on the regular and after we sat down neither of us noticed it again. As we walked in I also noticed That this place has a nice little cozy feel to it with some interesting decor, beautiful paintings on the wall and kind of an old school feel which I enjoy, there's an upstairs section that's pretty cool looking also where you can have private events or family style gatherings. Right off the bat the service was very friendly and attentive, we ordered two appetizers the shrimp Yakitori and an order of the pork and vegetable egg rolls both appetizers were fresh and delicious, I also had upon the servers recommendation their honey lemon ice tea which was very good. For our entrees My girlfriend ordered the spicy beef bulgogi and I ordered the spicy pork bulgogi, our food came out in a timely manner and was fresh and hot. The portion size was very good and I was happy to see the ratio of meat to vegetable was about 90% meat to 10% vegetable which is what I expect in a bulgogi. Overall I really liked this place and if I'm in Hurst I wouldn't hesitate to drop back in for some more delicious Korean food at Yori! P.s. No table grills just FYI

The food ordered: pad Thai, tom kha chicken soup, yum soon sen salad, egg rolls, crab Rangoon, a side of fried rice, and jeow som sauce. I ordered off their restaurant app which does include service fees. My total was $64.22. As a whole, the food is really good, nice proportions, and steaming hot. I asked for no spice on the pad Thai and mild spice in the soup and noodle salad. But the pad Thai got all the spice. AND I MEAN SPICY! My daughter was sad at first but powered through and enjoyed it and cleared her sinuses while she was at it LOL. Simple mistake, and lesson learned to make sure everything I order in the future is at the no spice level. The crab Rangoons are thin, delicate and crispy- the filling was slightly sweet and delicious. Very good with the sweet and sour sauce that comes with it. The egg rolls weren't our favorite but they were still tasty. Just not so crispy as we would have liked. The soup was exactly what my cold needed! It cleared my nose instantly. The show stopper was the yum woon sen salad. My daughter and I fought over leftovers. It's the perfect balance of sweet, salty, and sour. A new favorite for sure! We will definitely be back to try other dishes and support this local gem!

Alright now, this place is a gem!…read more I work with someone who raves about this place, and I finally decided to try it. Walking in, the young lady at the register was so sweet and pleasant. I had an online order and arrived a bit early, she politely let me know there would be a little wait, and I did not mind. I would, much rather wait, than walk in twenty minutes early to see my food just sitting there. It is a small space, but one that comes with warmth. What I chose: Mixed Plate Teriyaki Beef - The first bite, YES! The meat was seasoned so well, I was afraid the teriyaki sauce would overtake the flavor; it didn't. Both, the sauce and the seasoning complemented each other very well. The beef was thinly sliced and free of fat. I can't stand enjoying a bite, and out of nowhere, boom, a piece of fat. I'm not a beef person, but I'm so happy I tried something different. Hamburger Steak: I couldn't wait to try this, it's delicious! The patty is plenty and well seasoned; it isn't heavily seasoned, but well seasoned. It was juicy and not dried out, which sometimes happens. The gravy was perfect, and went perfectly with the meat patty. Next time, I will ask for more gravy and onions. I love grilled onions with meat patties. With my order, I asked for steamed veggies, but received rice instead. I don't eat rice often, but this is the one time I was happy with the mishap. I had a small bit with the gravy and patty, delicious!! Sides: Mac Salad and Rice - I didn't order rice; instead, it should have been steamed veggies. As I said above, the rice ended up being a great mishap; it was perfect with my meat patty and gravy. The mac salad, sadly, I didn't like. It wasn't horrible, it just didn't hit the right taste buds. Chocolate Mac Nut Cheesecake: I only tasted a spoonful of this, but it was good. I wouldn't get it again, for me, it was too sweet. They do have another cheesecake, which looks like a plain cheesecake, with a sauce on top. That, I will try. Spam Musubi: There seems to be more rice than what I am used to, so I cut it in half, and it made for the perfect bite. This was more than enough food; I have plenty to take to work for lunch and will have more to enjoy for dinner. I am so happy I visited. I will definitely visit periodically for a hamburger steak, and I am anxious to try their panko shrimp. Add them to your list, it is a must!!
