First time at MO bar and lounge. They had a nice jazz band as advertised on a Saturday with classy indoor seating. Great service by Pamela and her supporting staff. Well made drinks and beer menu. I enjoyed their sushi rolls; very high quality and fresh sea food. Looking around I saw people equally dressed up and dressed a little casual, but I'd say perhaps they're going for a classier vibe. As it's a hotel, there is an eclectic crowd. Singles, families with kids, and couples old and young. Seemed like all were equally enjoying all the same with no awkwardness. I'd return and recommend.

MO Bar is a hidden gem with spectacular views, excellent service, tasty snacks and an excellent tiramisu martini (seasonal). Be sure to visit while you still can!

The Mandarin Oriental lobby bar is fantastic. The drinks and staff were excellent. Bianca and Star, who waited on us, beautiful ladies w a willingness to make you feel welcome. On Saturday evenings, they have a live Latin jazz band. Fantástico! Will definitely be back when in Miami. Ladies, thank you for your smiles and helpfulness. Hugs for all

The MO Bar at Mandarin Oriental is a top tier cocktail bar. It's going to be a shame when they demolish the hotel to build a new one. Hopefully the new place has something like this. The vibe is upscale yet not austere. The bartenders are all very friendly and the drinks, though expensive, are worth it. On the weekend they frequently have live music which makes this a great spot to hang out. A gem.

If you're looking to have a good time, I highly recommend you visit Mo bar and lounge, which is located in the Mandarin Oriental Hotel on Brickell key. As soon as you walk into the hotel, you will be welcomed by the beautiful panoramic skyline of Miami and water views. You will be entertained by live music which includes swing jazz piano, contemporary pop, Spanish or Cuban jazz depending on which day and time you visit. The lounge offers a very comfortable, chic and luxurious feel. We ordered a few cocktails which were delicious and dessert to end the night. We ordered the chocolate tart and the raspberry lychee tart which were both delightful. Our server was not as attentive as I would like but nonetheless my friends and I had a wonderful time.

Live music, good drinks , great service and good ambiance. Had a couple of drinks before eating at La Mar and we very much enjoyed it this lounge. The live music was amazing and the drinks although expensive (expected) were pretty awesome. Complementary grapes and snacks are served. Try "his favorite" amazing drink !

You can definitely catch my full review on MO's Yelp page, but I wanted to leave this review here too since it is specific to the bar & lounge. I made my way down to MO Bar & Lounge after putting my luggage away and wow. Alex and Victor, you guys are nothing short of amazing, but especially Victor who made sure to make my birthday very special. He came to me with recommendations on how to make my stay worthwhile (places to visit, etc) & they also sent over a sweet bday dessert. The rest of the staff were great as well. You can tell they love their jobs and work super hard to provide impeccable service to all customers and guests. The bar made me not want to leave the hotel at all because I just felt like I had everything I needed. Good food, good drinks, plenty of laughs, and making new friends. I won't lie, I felt like I pretty much lived at the bar, lol. I even spent time at the bar on my birthday after having dinner at La Mar (which was splendid) & I was able to catch the pianist perform. He found out it was my birthday and dedicated a special song to me (and also sent over a birthday dessert). A song that was so beautiful & made me feel a few deep emotions (but happy emotions). I'll never forget that, thank you Francisco. I absolutely *love* the piano, so this made my heart incredibly happy! 200% recommended. These guys will take great care of you!

As always the MO Bar (and the rest of the Mandarin) is just perfection. I fell in love with my now-wife here, and we just celebrated our anniversary with our favorite cocktails including truffle blue cheese olives in the martini. Truly a wonderful place.

Visited the Mo Bar for their special happenings for the lunar new year. Even though the Mo Bar is always amazing, my expectations weren't high since Miami (particularly Brickell) isn't always the best with Asian traditions. But they really did a beautiful job making it festive! When we came in, they had a beautiful "wishing tree" and lanterns. My friends and I were able to write and hang our wishes on the tree. They also had a special musical duo playing beautifully on the violin and piano. The special food and drinks they had were worth checking out - the lamb dumplings were outstanding and our special lunar new year drinks had our crowd pulling out their phones to video the impressive dry ice dragon! Definitely will be back next year to celebrate lunar new year at the Mandarin!

Five stars for sure! This is the definition of a resto-lounge! Went for a birthday meet up. The waiter immediately brought us a complimentary birthday dessert (before we ate, but that's okay!). The wait staff literally bend down on their knees to take your order! The drinks are beautiful to look and amazing to eat. Salmon roll and seaweed salad was my fave! They serve mainly appetizer type dishes but with a couple of them you can absolutely make a filling meal. On the weekends they have a live band that plays a great upbeat variety of tunes - including great reggae covers! If you are looking for a place where you can get up and dance (or watch others) this is a great spot. It is by no means a club but people do pop up and dance when they feel the vibe! The crowd was surprisingly local which we appreciated! Not too crowded, just right. A very nice clientele as well. Check out the video to see the scene/action!

One of the great hotel bars in the U.S. It occupies an entire end of the Mandarin Oriental lobby and is surrounding by a sort of bamboo "fence" that defines the space. There are lots of tables and several seats at the bar itself. Many of the tables have nifty little knickknacks on them that look like sea urchins. The space benefits from the impossibly high ceilings with giant windows behind the bar that allow for a spectacular vista of downtown Miami and the bay. The servers are terrific and when you order a vodka tonic, it comes with an individual bottle of juniper-flavored tonic water. They also have a nice food menu and I became addicted to the spicy crunchy tuna roll. The specialty drinks are also expertly made and cover a huge variety of styles and ingredients.

Ohhhh well !!!! Let me tell you the drinks here were FABULOUS ( and I say that with a singing tone ) the place is of course gorgeous and the service was amazing !! Our waitress was hysterical and friendly and attentive!! Along with our drinks we got some amazing happy hour food that I think I have dreams about LOL there was short rib sliders that were so tender and tasty we got some tacos that were also delicious and we got salmon hand roll and wow I'm not sure which I liked best but maybe for me the sliders or maybe it was my cocktail I'm not sure but it was a great time so don't miss out on the happy hour !!!

Instead, I stumbled upon Koana Tiki Bar--a hidden little chamber of tropical enchantment tucked away from the ordinary world. As Miami's only tiki bar, Koana is surprisingly well themed. It is a smaller establishment, which explains why reservations are required, but the intimate setting only adds to the charm. Once inside, the outside world seems to disappear beneath warm lighting, exotic décor, and the unmistakable feeling that something mysterious is being prepared behind the bar. The food is available, but Koana truly shines through its drink menu. The team has clearly done its research and assembled some serious heavy hitters. My companions and I visit whenever we're in Miami, and we've sampled nearly every drink on the menu. I have yet to encounter a bad one. They are fairly priced for Miami, though their strength should not be underestimated. These are not casual refreshments--they are potent little potions disguised as tropical cocktails. The staff is always kind, attentive, and extremely knowledgeable. They're happy to explain the drinks and guide you toward something that suits your taste, whether you seek something sweet, sour, smoky, fruity, or powerful enough to summon your ancestors. During my visit, I combined several ingredients from the menu into a highly experimental concoction. After one sip, my allergies vanished completely. After the second, I could smell colors. By the third, I was convinced the palm trees were speaking to me in ancient tongues. I have no idea what was in that drink, but my sinuses were clear, my spirit was elevated, and I briefly achieved enlightenment beneath a decorative tiki mask. Reservations are essential, the drinks are strong, and the bar is small--but Koana is absolutely worth seeking out. Just be certain you're prepared for whatever spirits may answer when you raise your glass.

I feel the term 'artisan' is so overused nowadays that I avoid using it, so can we just go with the Bill & Ted description that Kaona's tiki drinks are "Most Excellent!"
