I counted at least 12 flies buzzing around our table, and I don't know what was crusted on the condiment bottles. Overall, pretty nasty and I wish we had walked out instead of giving it a chance. The server was nice enough, but just couldn't make up for the general state of disrepair. Do yourself a favor and take a hard pass on this place. This is a great diner to stop in and have breakfast at. Plenty of options on the menu. I personally did not like the Huevos rancheros. It was a bit runny for me but my husband's pancakes and eggs and bacon look really good and my daughter got sausage eggs and toast with potatoes. Here's the deal. The food was good. The restaurant is a little dated even for the style. We had a group of five with kids and adults. On a Friday night the place was fairly empty. They do have a nice outside private seating area. The fish taco shell wasn't great, but the fish was good. The steak Philly was good. It did have a little too much fatty pieces. The Mac and cheese was good. The service was kind and prompt. The price is running $3-5 too high on most items on the menu. I will probably choose something different in town next time but I don't regret eating here. I just wish my bill was less for what I got. For this reason I can't repeat. read more

I'm not sure why this local grill is only sporting 3 stars, because we stumbled in for breakfast and were greeted with smiling faces and a menu that was so delicious we're already planning to come back for dinner! They've got that something that makes you feel like you're at your granny's. We ordered breakfast tacos (2 for $3.95 add an egg for .95 cents x2 so breakfast was under $5.00 for me). Other orders in our party included a breakfast burrito that was covered in delicious green Chile verde sauce (substituted sausage for corned beef hash and it was declared the best breakfast burrito ever from my brother who is a chef by trade), oatmeal and an egg plate. All had us trying each other's and saying how good they all were. The corned beef hash was crisp on the outside and despite being from a can, it was prepared perfectly and brought back memories ! Came out to Moab for a Marine Corps reunion and we stumbled across this place after some sight seeing. The greeter was a personable young man who quickly got some tables together for the seven of us. Our waitress was a beautiful and personable young lady who quickly delivered water, menu's and took our drink order. I think our food orders ranged all across the menu. I ordered the fish tacos, two fish and one carnitas. The cod was lightly battered and crunchy, it was covered in cabbage, onions and a chipotle aioli. The carnitas were very tender and lightly seasoned and covered with the same toppings. What I loved was their rice, it was actually a Verde rice, so tasty, I could have just ate a whole plate of it. The lunch also came with a side of beans. My wife had a small Italian sausage and mushroom pizza which she said was one of the best pizzas she's ever had. Don't pass this place up, definitely worth stopping in to eat. We stopped in for breakfast the day we were leaving, the best Huevos Rancheros ever! read more

We arrived at 11 and they were serving breakfast. For us, 11 is lunch and one of the kids dislikes breakfast foods. We perhaps could have asked if they would start lunch early, but breakfast is a favorite meal for the rest of us. My husband enjoyed their biscuits and gravy, eggs, and sausage very much. My son and I had omelets and enjoyed those; they were a large portion and I could not finish the entire thing. My other son got a Nutella crepe with banana and did not like it. I do not think this was a fault of the establishment, more him not liking the banana/Nutella combo. The only thing really keeping this from being 5 star is that my husband said the coffee was terrible. The wait staff was attentive and accommodating with requests for more cream for the coffee. We received excellent customer service on a road trip through the mighty five national parks. Everyone was so kind and generous. They even offered to make new cookies when the ones I wanted weren't available. The sandwiches were delicious and the ambience was cute. I tried out Moab Grill the other day which is a diner style family restaurant serving breakfast, lunch, dinner, and offering a full wine & beer menu. When I stopped by it was around 11am after I had hiked so I decided to go with the breakfast tacos which came with mushrooms, spinach, cheese, and scrambled eggs. These were a bit small but very tasty and inexpensive. Excited to try this place again soon to explore the menu a bit more. read more

What an absolute disappointment. It's a very small place and not busy. They have servers and a busgirl. I would think that the busgirl who walked by our table at least 3 times would have removed our dirty dishes which were sitting at the end of the table, VERY OBVIOUS. I would also expect our server to at least once ask us how things are. Not here!! If the Reuben sandwich we ordered had more than 2 thin slices of cornbeef on it and cost $13.00 I might have been comfortable with giving them one star. I really try not to leave bad reviews, but my god this was by far one of the worst meals I have ever had in my life. We ordered the Onion Lover Burger and Thai BBQ Chickens Wings. With an onion lover burger you would expect a ton of onions? Nope. Only a few strands of slimy onion that were definitely not grilled even though they said they were. Also asked for the burger medium and it was well done. In addition to that the fries that came with it were god awful and definitely microwaved. The wings were terrible too. The sauce was definitely not Thai BBQ. In addition to all that the service was so poor. After we got our food the waiter literally disappeared for like 45 min. This was a great place to eat. Our party of 5 walked in and were seated immediately on a Sunday around 1pm. We were offered water right away. Our table was clean and our server Debra was super sweet. We had chicken fried steak, pecan pie, pancakes, eggs & hash browns. Everything came out great and within 15 minutes. This was a nice diner with a hometown feel. They serve Coke products , coffee , tea. The bathrooms were a single one for a women , and single one for a gentlemen. A cute cabin look for the decor here at the Moab Grill. It was one of the first on the start of Main Street so we picked it. I saw many other places I will try next time but I am very happy we ate here and the food was very good diner food. Hubby and I stopped in on our way home (Rio Rancho, NM) from visiting the in-laws out in Tooele. Wasn't really busy, including us there was 6 tables in the entire restaurant 4 staff members working the front asked for an coke no ice, and an ice tea. Coke came out with ice witch isn't that big of an issue, our food was amazing. Waitress didn't check on us once, had to flag her down for ketchup cause the one at the table was empty, at the end of our meal I asked for a Togo cup and the check, she dropped the check off to the table next to us, brought our cup went to the kitchen grabbed something for another table brought it to them and sat down and started gossiping with them. This is one of the most disappointing places I've been to since restaurants reopened from Covid. There's no ambiance, service is slow and the food is bland or worse. Mashed potatoes were gluey and lukewarm with chunks, my husband's steak was cold and was supposed to be medium rare. It was bloody, rare and cold. Prices were supposed to be $10 -$20 a plate. Nope, try about $17 - $35.. How on earth it received a 4.1 rating is mystery. read more
