Aug 25 2026 I went to the office at 9:05 AM they state they open at 9:00 AM . I was told the insurance agents don't come in until 1:00 PM four hours later . I had to hang around Fairfield for four hours when I should have been packing for a vacation I went back to AAA at 1:05 PM and was told my agent called and said she would be in at 1:30 PM, no she didn't come in at 1:30 PM so I called their phone number on my insurance information . After being on hold for about 8 minutes a women answered and asked me why I was calling I told her , she put me on hold for another 8 or so minutes . Time now about 1:55. Finally I got an insurance agent on the phone and told her I needed to cancel a policy , she had a tad bit of an attitude at first. Guess who walks in the door? yes my insurance agent with a big smile on her face . She said follow me to my desk . The agent on the phone says your all set your auto policy is cancelled . I asked how much of a refund will I get she said none I would get a credit on my other cars insurance . My agent sat there and did nothing but grin at me . Finally it all got taken cars of after about 5 hours 15 minutes . In the mean time waiting I told them next week I'm switching back to Hanover insurance I had since 1990 the only reaction I got was OK . I guess I'll keep them for the next 11 months since I had just got the new polices in July for my cars and house .

I asked for a different company and they contacted CVM. The original estimate for arrival was 30-60 minutes but the driver, Vinny, was stuck in traffic. Vinny contacted me to let me know that he would be arriving outside of the estimated window so I new that someone was at least on the way. when Vinny arrived he was very professional and courteous. he apologized again for being late, changed my tire and continued to inspect my car for any other issues that may have occurred. he showed me the issue with my tire and also noticed my other front tire had the same issue. Because of Vinny I was able to bring my car back to the repair shop and get my car fixed under warranty. thank you so much Vinny!

I requested roadside service from my insurance today at about 1:40 am to change a flat tire. It…read moretook about 20 minutes to get confirmed with a company. The ETA was 45-80 minutes. 75-78 minutes later the ETA said they'd be arriving soon and then it changed to 20 minutes. Once the 20 minutes were up, it changed to 35 minutes. I called and got no answer. Called again and was told that the ETA kept getting pushed back because of snow plows. Once again the ETA says it is arriving soon, and was then pushed back again. They sent a car out from Connecticut to the Bronx which is a just a little over 1.5 hours. I checked the traffic several times and saw that there were no delays despite them saying that there was traffic due to snow plows. My frustration comes from the 2 times where the ETA time reached a point where the arrival said it is arriving soon but instead the time kept getting pushed back. In total it took about 2.5 hours for the assistance to arrive. It that time would have been clear from the beginning I would have had a chance to call my insurance to schedule with someone else. It looks to me (from my experience and other reviews) like they accept all calls regardless of distance and mislead customers and insurance companies with ETA's to secure business. Absolutely horrible experience and I will be submitting a complaint with my insurance company.
