The service here is very consistent to whenever I need to fill air in my tires . A different worker always helps me fill it all up. The manager that runs this business is a young man that takes time to help customers especially my mother when she wants to fill up her gas on her Hyundai Sante Fe . He's still learning the ropes of how the business goes but he's doing good job so far taking advice from his uncle that comes around to check up on him. read more

The owner asked me to remove photos of the business I had posted a few years back. Just a couple pictures of gas pumps and signs I had snapped a couple years ago. Nothing offensive. When I didn't remove the photos, the owner sent me some crude snarky messages and had the photos removed. I have spent a few thousand dollars, maybe $5k, in repairs at this place over the years. And have had both my cars inspected there every year since we moved to Wayland. But never again. read more

I come here to pump my gas for my car as well as my wife's. She has a Volvo XC60 that just chugs gas. And So far for prices especially for the octane gas for Mobil, their prices are fairly reasonable. I can tell this is a family oriented business with the way the Owners talk with each other. The only problem their is, is that their convenience store should update the candy items they have. Overall their service is steady & good especially with getting our state inspections ready for the road. read more

Not sure why there's so many bad reviews for this place... I've been going here since I got my first car and have never had any issues. The owner is incredibly friendly and so are all of the workers. Their prices are fair and never overpriced compared to other places. I went to get an inspection here, had done so 2 times in the past, this time they failed me for bad treads. Ok no worries, let me buy 2 tires from you, good to go! Next day hit an AVERAGE pot hole, type of hole I have hit hundreds of times with my previous tires. Immediately get a flat. This was the NEXT DAY. I immediately went back to the shop, demanded a new tire, but no this was my fault and no way could the tire by faulty or defective. I was forced to pay for another brand new tired. I came in on a Friday for an inspection and an oil change. I've never walked into such a clean, welcoming, and organized shop! They really care about their customers! After getting my car on the lift for an oil change they pointed out that I needed new rear brakes (pads worn out), tie rod (rusting out), and an exhaust leak I had on my Toyota Camry. They were able to complete the work fast and charged a fair price! Would definitely reccomed this station and will be coming back you them for all my car business! read more

I have been coming to Farley at Wayland Mobil for about seven years. Farley Magalhaes is a very personable young automotive genius. Over the years he has kept my 15 year old Infiniti in great condition with fluid changes, repairs to brakes, steering, suspension, exhaust, and engine. When my car needed body work, he recommended a shop (see my review of So. Main St. Auto Body). Needed welding, he got it done. All at very reasonable prices. This week he did a brake job on my wife's car using premium parts for HALF what the Lexus dealership quoted. He saved us another $800 by telling us that at 60K miles we don't need the timing belt changed as The dealership had scheduled. In summary, you can trust Farley's honesty and his skill. I've come here for oil changes and small repairs over the past 5 years, but everything changed yesterday. So I called ahead to see if they could do an oil change. I showed up a few minutes later, told the guy inside I was here for the oil change, and he asked me "regular or synthetic." I said regular. Twenty minutes later, i went inside to pay ahead for the oil change. The woman behind the counter asked that same guy how much it would be, and he says "$69.99". I replied, "Wait a second, I've come here many times, it's always been around $35." This guy says, "It's for synthetic." "But I asked for regular." We repeatedly went back and forth with him vehemently insisting that I requested synthetic. I don't think there's anything more infuriating as a customer than being told you requested something that you obviously did not request. I was so fed up with this person that I said, "Buddy, just call the owner to resolve this." "Well, the owner is my father. And stop calling me buddy." He then goes outside to check with the mechanic and comes back a few minutes later. "Charge him $32.95." So luckily, the mechanic did use the correct oil and the owner's son admitted he made a mistake, but that didn't stop him from continuing to repeatedly instigate with me. This obnoxious little douche kept getting in my face long after the argument was over and resolved, despite the fact that he caused the dispute. Even after I went outside to wait on the bench for my car, this little twat made it a point to keep chirping. It even continued as I was going to my car. I've had decent experiences with Eli and Bruno in the past, but the disrespect and belligerence displayed by Eli's son was way beyond anything I've ever seen as a customer. I'm absolutely done with this place and Wayland Automotive across the street (Eli Elias owns Wayland Automotive and manages Wayland Mobil), and I'm guessing most, if not all, of my friends around town will be as well once they hear this story. Before I begin a text paste I sent to the service establishment (who don't have the guts to reply with their real name!), I apologize for the middle and upper class people of metrowest W. towns who 'need' service and bring their cars here. I witnessed unknowing UK residents on holiday communicating with the staff as if they were in Cyprus on holiday. I have come here 4-5 years in a row and had minor services on 2 cars. Write up an estimate "OH, you went off without buying our repairs on that car". Not only was that 100% WRONG-I came back the very same evening once I used my god given right to comparison shop. IF he doesn't like that, he can take a hike, and I am also p.o'd enough about him saying the brakes today were going to be $429 including sticker/insp., and then came up w. A way to make $40 more, by b.s'ing me that "Oh we didn't charge you for the inspection". That is bottom of the barrel customer NON service, and you know. it. The car is fine, and your mechanics/sales do a lot of good work in a small shop, but how the counter help berated this customer will not stand. I am pretty sure I will consider myself stupid for not having left at 8a when I waited for you to open (inaccurate sign for inspections based on 8.40 arrivals)....I am also sure I am free to put this experience on Yelp. NO, even good SERVICE is NOT worth it for ANYONE with the kind of mouthing off, argument baiting lunacy I got yesterday. I hope you get some training in how to not lose your customers with your foot in your mouth and your hand on some kind of weird profit motive...its amazing you guys have lasted this long." I really, really tried the past half-decade to make this my go to minor service shop (I cannot afford my marque's service dealers' rates being around $500 more on average). Normally when you go to a gas station you get the stereotype that people there will try to rip you off but not this place. This place I like how their completely honest with you at all times and try to find a solution for you and your car. I could tell this place is run throughout a family business which I love. They have a different variety of cars that are for sale that I look at for my daughter. Wesley & Bruno are very nice, and won't hesitate to demonstrate what they are doing to your vehicle and explain it. They do a good job finding reasonably priced parts and equipment, and they know auto repair bills are tough to swallow. They can map out repair strategies and triage plans! Terrible. I specifically asked for one thing to be checked and they began checking everything else first to see what else I needed so they could charge me. Once I told them to stop and check what I asked, they DID NOT show or discuss anything with me about what parts needed replacing and "Why." They also did not inform me how they would go about fixing it. There were 3 guys there mind you. One of them just came up to me with a price higher than three other auto body shops I took my vehicle to. I recommend NEVER getting your vehicle serviced here. read more

This place is horrible. I went there to get my Massachusetts inspection sticker renewed, and the guy there told me I needed my breaks changed. When I didn't spend the money there and went to much more trustworthy establishment (Midas in Natick) the guy at mobile made my life difficult. After my breaks were replaced, he still wouldn't pass my car. I went back to get it inspected there bc If you fail, the establishment must retest the car for free within 30 days of your initial test. Basically the guy there was pissed and wouldn't pass my car. I ended up leaving and getting it inspected somewhere else, where the car passed right away. I'm never going back to this place - not even to fill my gas tank. read more

Avoid this business if at all possible. Took my car for inspection and they failed it for a bogus tire tread issue. They tried to sell me four tires, saying, "come on, you drive a BMW, you can afford it." Outrageous. When pushed, it went from needing four tires to one, but they would not change the failed inspection. Have had problems with their sister-station across the street too. Avoid if you can. read more
