We went with Affordable Window Tinting after creating a project in Yelp and getting quotes from 10…read moredifferent companies. At first we went with Polar Tint but during the appointment we realized they gave us a quote for the lower heat rejection material so we left. When getting window tint, always ask for IR or heat rejection percentage. Affordable Window Tinting used ceramic that has 88+% heat rejection (not 3M but comparable) and for 5 windows we paid $300 which was a great price. FYI if you have a Subaru the front mini window counts as a window (we misunderstood at first and thought we could get the back windows too). We got 50% for the windshield and 35% for the front side windows. They have a heat demo you can try in-store so you can feel the difference. Installation took 3 hours (one bad thing is that the waiting area smells heavily of cigarette smoke) so we got lunch and walked around nearby (but it's not the best neighborhood). There were bubbles in the film but like the guy said, they went away in a few days when it cured. Happy with the results!

When I showed up, he was ready for me and walked me through the whole process as well as showed me the different tint levels. Once I picked out the level of tent, I wanted, he showed me to the waiting room, and there were plenty of snacks and great beverages to choose from. The waiting area was a great place to sit and wait for my car. After the Work was done, he showed me around the vehicle and explained everything to me and the dos and don'ts with my new tint. I was extremely pleased with the work and I will be bringing back my vehicle here for future services. You won't go wrong if you schedule with 979 tint.

Now they were not the cheapest or the most expensive quote I got but their attention to detail and actually listening to what I wanted done and helping me decide on how dark to tint my front windshield, sealed the deal for me. Overall I am very pleased with the outcome, quality of the tint is great. The only reason I did but give a five star rating was they had a couple communication hiccups.

Was quoted by a different company $4,500 to replace it and that price was unacceptable as it cost me $8,200 to replace all my other windows including a new sliding patio door recently. So I found this company who was able to replace parts of it and save me a lot of money. A tech was sent out to measure and provide an estimate (sorry cannot remember his name) he quoted for all 6 pieces as I asked but told me I only needed to change 2 if I was going to do any of it. The 2 main pieces had dust and dirt in between the panes so I could never get the window clean. After I decided to move forward I scheduled the install and Marlo showed up and was very professional and polite. He did the job very quickly and when he was removing the 2 old glass panes we discovered that they had completely failed as the outer pieces of glass separated from the inner spacer in effect leaving me with single pane glass. Marlo installed the new low e double pane glass and I now have a window that is in much better condition, clean, and way more efficient. Thanks Cut Rate & Marlo

He was able to come out a few days later, take measurements and get me a quote. He was also able to source the door and trim which saved me a lot of guesswork. As soon as the doors came in, he reached out to schedule and he had the doors hung within a couple of hours. His attention to detail is what really stood out to me. He was able to source the exact doors, trim and handles I have so it looks like this came installed from the builder. Everything is level and looks great. He was even able to refer me to someone to get the doors painted and that person did an awesome job as well. This place is a preferred provider for state farm and that meant there was an extra warranty that went with the windshield and also just a very easy communication between the two. The worker on the phone was super nice and helpful and got me set up within a few days for a home visit appointment. The technician called when they were close to my property replaced and recalibrated my windshield. The whole time they communicated what they were doing and were fairly quick with it all. One thing to keep in mind, which I didn't even think about, is if you have tinted windows they do not provide tinting. So if that's something that you need, either do that as a separate part of your claim if using insurance, or find a spot that does both if on a time crunch. It doesn't take away from the fact that they were wonderful to work with though.
