Brian's also have found things like a leaking radiator that was covered under my warranty while I was just there for an oil change. He started the inspection but admitted he did not have the Ethernet cable required to get the service codes on a Volvo. He read the CARFAX history and gave me recommendations for questions to ask and things to keep in mind. He looked for structural damage and looked under the hood. My only gripe as a very amateur DIYer was for a starter replace on my Sienna, they quoted me $500 and change. 15 minutes later I was on my way to pick up a denzo from a local Toyota dealership that ended up costing me about $200 after the core refund. Changing this starter cost me a ten minute YouTube video and about 20 minutes of work. A ratchet, an extender, and three metric sockets. Bananas. This repair was easier and cleaner than an oil change. I get it that it's a shop. I get that not every starter is going to be this easy, but you can walk over to a parking stall with the new starter and bang out two or three of these per hour if you're a professional. If you need quality Toyota parts quick, this is your next best thing to a dealership.
