Jessica has been in business since 2008 and has been at The Paseo (formerly Paseo Colorado) in Old Town Pasadena for many years, though in different mall locations. She also graciously validates parking. I came in late afternoon to have her inspect my older Samsung phone. Parts took two days to arrive; if you go early enough, they sometimes come the next day. She orders Samsung screens made in Korea. They are not OEM, but mine passed the fingerprint sensor configuration test, which is important. You want to see if the screen's sensitivity is working properly. If you don't want fingerprint login, just delete it after the test. There's a 90-day warranty. I returned two days later. She installed the replacement screen and camera while I waited in the lobby. There's a comfortable black couch and a nice view of shoppers at The Paseo. She really rescued this phone. Another shop had damaged the camera while replacing a cracked screen and sold me a knockoff that developed vertical lines in under a year and wasn't touch-sensitive. Jessica replaced that non-Korea screen and fixed the camera. If you need Samsung repair, go to Cosmo. Wherever you take the phone, ask for a Korea-made screen and confirm it passes the fingerprint sensor configuration test before you leave.

I knew I had to get it fixed right away because I was leaving town the next day. I started searching for cellphone repair services and found Master Gadget Repair. I contacted them via Yelp, asked for a quote and their hours, and they responded quickly with a very reasonable price--comparable to a regular shop, but even better, they could come to me. Despite their advertised 24/7 hours, I was skeptical, but sure enough, Sean showed up at my house at 10:30 p.m., right on time. I was a bit late, but he was very understanding. He repaired my LCD screen, and since my battery kept losing charge, I asked him about a battery replacement while he was working on it. He quoted me a really reasonable price, so I said, Why not? Let's just knock them both out at the same time!! Afterward, he took me through all the troubleshooting steps, testing every feature, and everything seemed perfect at first. The next day, though, I started experiencing some issues. Thankfully, he had given me his personal number in case that happened, so I contacted him immediately. I met with them that same day, within a few hours. Sean (apologies if spelled incorrectly) tried various methods, including a new phone battery, however he knew and explained that, due to it being a motherboard issue, it would be more complex and costly without a guaranteed result. My phone did not turn on again (it's a Samsung S10) and they provided me with tips on what I can do next and possible upgrade options. They have amazing customer service and were very understanding and patient with my questions and with allowing me to watch as they worked. Also the reason I had stated that it was unverified was because you had asked me what it said on my battery health and I had replied by saying it says nothing just unverified. I shouldn't even been having an issue after having a brand new battery in my phone hence why I contacted you guys because I wanted to know if that's usually how it works a month in a half after a repair. Also the reason why I didn't bring in the phone because after being on the phone with Apple and having them run a diagnostic report which stated that I have a very poor battery in my phone they told me usually individual stores that replace batteries always end up giving issues so instead of constantly going back and forth I thought it's much better for me to go directly to Apple. Furthermore, I was there on June 23 and yesterday the day I contacted you about this issue was August 14 which is actually 52 days and not 75 to be exact since you want to get technical and I'm pretty sure nobody wants to run back-and-forth every month and a half behind an iPhone battery.
