They don't carry through.They know it's a difficult bewildering time for you. they will take full advantage of your pain. it's a business after all .$$$ Having never had to experience a cremation, I knew I wanted one for my pup at home. They are very expensive but the polite young woman on the phone sold me and so I selected them. They claim they offer you a special ID number, I've not received my ID tag. I paid extra to have my dog cremated separately. Whether they do that or not , who knows? The doctor came late and according to the owner Blake that was my fault because apparently the good Dr doesn't know to use a GPS! No problem. Things happen. That didn't upset me. I was offered a few minutes needed before my dog was put to sleep...which I could not take full advantage of as I was asked to sign documents. And the dr had to hurry to her next appointment. I let the doctor know that I set up the area where I wanted the service done. she was unpacking her medication equipment and began to do the procedure on the floor. she was young and very kind but as she was much younger than I being on the floor was ok for her. The floor was not an option for me. Sitting on a bench I still couldn't reach my pups head . I was given 5 minutes or so after the second injection to be with my pup. I could probably have gotten down on the floor but I'd never get back up. Seriously The doctor was very professional with the one exception of not using a more comfortable place for me and her. I called the owner Blake. I have nothing nice to say about him. i wasn't told that the first injection isn't allowed while the pet is in your lap. the second one you can have the pet in your lap. I said to the owner Blake why didn't anyone tell me that ? His answer, "you didn't ask". I have choice words the owner. How would I know to ask for something I didn't know existed. The owner "Blake have a nice day." I spent $1500 to be hung up on. I would ever recommend this mobile service. The owner Blake was condescending rude and greedy. Make sure if you use this mobile unit be prepared to ask questions that you didn't even know existed. Update - the owner Blake wants to me redact my review or he won't send me my receipts. I had to put down my last cat on December 19th, he was 15-1/2 years old and I had him since he was a kitten, from a feral mother cat. He was a great cat! Found this business online with good reviews when my small dog with heart issues starting having a hard time breathing and stopped eating regularly. I had been to her vet recently and they said there wasn't really anything else that would help her so was trying to be prepared so she could stay with us as long as possible as we've had her since her birth 11 years ago. She passed at 5:20am at home with me petting and talking to her. I had their number set aside so I called after I got my wits back together. Left a message that was returned with a text. I knew what I wanted to do and he didn't pressure me for any additional items. Price was a bit high, but it was after hours on a weekend and they were both picking her up, handling cremation and returning her to us within the week. They came within 30-45minutes and I had placed her in a small box already with a towel over her, so he just transported her to his vehicle that way. He was very pleasant at a very difficult time. That was Sunday and her cremains were returned by a nice lady on Friday. Once I called him and told him our situation, he said that he happened to be heading towards our area as we spoke and what a miracle that was. Our Shorty was older and we knew her time was near yet she was comfortable and happy. Sure enough when she started looking not so well its approaching the weekend and our Vet nor even the Emergency Vet were NOT open, due to the weekend hours and Hilary approaching and touching ground. I actually went on line thinking what am I going to do with my sweet girl if she passes and there is nowhere to take her? It was stressful and so sad, but Blake and his prompt attention and polite help was so appreciated . His Fee for his pickup, cremation, lovely pine box and paw print in clay for remembrance, then delivering her back not even a week later in a respectful bag and a burlap bag for the pine box was above and beyond expectations. I believe his fees are not any more than if I would have gone to a Vet have my pet euthanized and then left there for cremation, and then have to return to pickup my pets ashes 2 weeks later.
