Kirby and Cody have done it again! Last week, I hit something on the freeway and when I called them to ask if they could come assess the damage, they were at my house within the hour. They took a look and deemed me good to go (I got lucky!), but while they were there, they took a look and a listen to another issue I was worried about. Sure enough, I needed my tensioner replaced. I dropped my car off a few days later and they had it fixed and ready to go within a few hours. Called Kirby to replace an aux battery. He said that he does not recommend Auto Zone or Costco batteries and advised me to return the new one that I purchased and buy another from someplace else. He informed me that I also would need a new main battery and an alternator. I did all that he recommended. We set an appointment for him to return. He did not show up for the appointment and never answered text or calls which added stress to an already very stressful situation. I located another mechanic and was able to get my vehicle fixed. Kirby quoted me $550 and we set the appt that he failed to show up on. The new mechanic was under $200 and also told me to take the main battery back and get my money returned because I didn't need it. He seemed knowledgeable and his son was professional and kind. For the last month, I was having starter issues with my vehicle and for some reason mechanics at Honda Spreen can't identify if my starter is going bad or not. So I gave up on them and started looking around for a mechanic in my radius. Was on Yelp and found Mobile Pros which is the #1 mechanic in my area. Called them and left a message and Kirby (the owner) was quick to call back. Kirby was able to stop by my house and he ran some tests to identify whether it's my starter or not. During the test, he went step by step on what he's doing which was nice. So, in the end, he was able to conclude that it is my starter and that my starter is running out. I accepted to get my starter replaced and Kirby gave me a good price (FYI he also accepts cc). Then I dropped off my vehicle to his shop (because I literally live 1 mile away from his shop) and Kirby got it done in a couple of hours. Now for the starter, it starts nice and quick!
