So, I went to Home Depot yesterday, chest pumped out and ready to get the pieces to replace a screen window. They had an instruction sheet next to the section, so I took a look at it. Mike, the owner, said that the quickest way to get it done was to bring the damaged one to their location and let them build a new one, based off of the old one. Mike installed a security screen door for our home. It was getting warm and we needed it fast. Mike is a busy guy and that's a very good sign. After a few weeks of us being undecided on what exactly we wanted, we told Mike and he said it would take a week for the door to come in. Exactly a week later, he was at our house installing the screen door. Mike and another employee took about 2 hours. He's a perfectionist. He made sure everything was in place and just right. Before Mike left, we asked him to replace a screen and the frame on a bedroom window. It was done in 2 days. We weren't home at the time Mike brought the screen but he installed it and also fixed the magnet on the window shutters...didn't even ask him too but thank god he did! It needed it! Great service, great product, very fair price. Called Mobile Screen Pros and Mike came out that evening (8:30 PM). Picked up my ripped screen slider and took it to his shop. Said it may be a couple days before the job is done. Next day about 6 PM Mike called and said he will be in the area and has the screen slider done. Arrived at 8:00 PM and installed it. To put it simply Mike was great. He was able to get around to making me a new screen even though it was near Thanksgiving and he was going through some personal issues. He always gave me an accurate estimate when he would be by or when the screen would be finished. If he was off he would let me know immediately. We have used Mike on two occasions. We had holes in many of our screens, and others had bent frames. This is one of those home improvements that provides a big bang for the buck because windows are always in your line of sight. Torn screens and bent frames disrupt the view. Mike fixed them all on both occasions. Depending on the state of your screen, he may be able to repair it. If it's too damaged, he will make a new one fitted perfectly to your frame. He has a lot of insight and experience, and is a good teacher as well; for example, he educates you on how to remove the screens without damaging them and how to properly take care of them. He was friendly and professional, and his work gets done in a timely fashion. This work is a major value in my opinion. I highly recommend Mike. read more
