Terry replied to my voicemail within 15 minutes and said he could come the same day. I was having a problem with the remote for my ProScan TV and couldn't get it to program even after reading the owners manual and looking a a YouTube video. Anyway Terry arrived on time and brought a couple different remotes to try. We changed the batteries on the original remote and nothing happened. He then pulled out an RCA remote and the Tv turned on immediately and we were able to check all the settings and sources. Terry said RCA makes ProScan TV's so he wasn't surprised when it worked. I was very happy with his fast response, knowledge, quality of work and he only charged me $57 for the house call and remote which I felt was a good deal. I have never used Mobile Tv, yet I recommend them highly. I called them to inquire about a visit to repair two TVs at a friend's home. He gave me simple instructions on how to reset the TVs. Terry @ Mobile TV was the local repair shop assigned to me by my warranty company (Newleaf/Howards). Short version, Terry is not going to call you despite his promises. You will have to call him. Over. And over. If I didn't HAVE TO go through him, I wouldn't. Long version: They sent my information over to him on Thurs July 16th 9am. I had to follow up following Monday because Terry had not reached out to me. He had all my information (read it to me over the phone), he just didn't call. He picked up TV the next day as promised, but that's basically where we're at. The only information he has given me was the same info I got off the Sony website after 30 seconds of googling. He also stated "the tv is working fine in my shop". I asked if he wasn't able to figure it out or make repairs to bring my TV back. 2 days later he has not called me back to arrange delivery. Has not returned my call from yesterday. Maybe he has fixed some TVs, but he's not good with follow up. I don't want to hear any covid excuses because TVs don't get covid. Side note, he didn't wear a mask when he came into my home to pick up my tv. read more

I had a horrible experience with this gentleman he picks up my 65" Samsung television to be fixed the only problem was that it would not turn on. A month and a half later he tells me he tried replacing two boards and he can't fixe it and I would like to just leave with him. Upon me picking up my television he explains to me that the reason why he can't fixed it because the screen is broken. When he picked up my television the screen was not broken and if it was he would not taken the television and would have I cannot fix it has a broken. Now I'm stuck with a $2,500 television that is now trash but he claims I brought the television with a broken screen. It's funny how he did not find the crack when he first picked up. This was a horrible experience I wish I would have never brought it to this man which his name is Terry. read more

Appreciate this business and the owner and would definitely recommend to others. I had a broken TV and the cost to fix it would have been more than what I paid for it. This business came and picked up my TV for free and gave me $20 bucks for it when no one else wanted it. And it was nice to know that it would be used for something and not just destroyed. My TV stopped working so I called Mobile TV and they came the next day. Terry, with his assistant, took my TV to his warehouse on Wednesday and returned it good as new Saturday morning. Mobile TV is really quick and did a great job. The only thing that got me was I was quoted $250/300 and ended up with a bill of +$300. Ouch! read more

Really disappointed. Started off well. They came and took my TV for repair which was helpful. But then it took weeks to get it back. When I did get it back, the picture was off kilter. Because of work, I could have them come back right away. When they finally did, they looked at it, used a special remote and when they couldn't fix it that way told me that they had used a board from another TV and evidently it wasn't the right one. I was shocked as I paid a lot of money for the repair. Almost the price of a new one. They told me they would have to come back to get it and they would look for the right board. I'm still waiting for that call. So tomorrow, Black Friday, I will go buy a new TV and be thankful that I can. But I would never recommend or use them again. And I don't like writing bad reviews. Called this shop after searching for what I hoped to be an honest repair center. I called Terry at noon on a Thursday and he was at my house by 1:30 to pick up my TV. He had my TV back to me Saturday morning and it has been working great since repaired. His quoted price was what I paid. My TV is a Mitsubishi DLP and was powering off because it thought it was overheating. Terry knew what he needed to do to fix it and did what he said. He was very polite and prompt. very pleased with the response and service. my tv suddenly was not working at all. after checking connections & plugs & remotes gave them a call. the guy was friendly and knowledgeable. picked up the tv, called me back within a day or so saying he could find nothing wrong. he returned the tv and we re-hooked everything up. inadvertently one of a 4 panel wall switch had been off. he could have easily claimed it need this part or that but hadn't. he also readjusted the brightness to help avoid burnout or pixilation problems in the future. only charge was $20 for the pick up and diagnostics. could have easily been ripped off by someone who wasn't as honest. will recommend him to anyone I know with tv problems. read more
