My goodness, what a hidden gem! We wanted some take out kebobs. We had heard that their food was very good. I used the online ordering app, it was so very easy. The staff were very friendly. They have a little section where they serve cookies and various nuts! Win win since we wanted to bring something to our Easter gathering. Our food was so good. The platters of meat came with choices of saffron rice(super flavorful), salad or bread. The salads were customizeable(no tomatoes or onions for me) but full of good greens, feta and fresh cucumbers. The beef kebab came with about 7 pieces. Each meal came with packages house dressing and most tasty cucumber and yogurt sauce. Our meals also came with complimentary hot pitas, so huge and fresh. Went back to to the restaurant to use a credit for uncooked chicken kabob on previous trip. Ordered a kubideh well done along with chicken kabob and you would think since my last issue was uncooked chicken that this time they would make sure it's cooked all the way through. Was disappointed to see pink in the chicken and well done kubideh was raw inside. I don't know if they ever listen to your order and how you want it cooked. The staff acts like you should not complain about your food and I'm sure when I returned the two meals to be remade again they did something to it because it didn't taste like it normally would. I will never go to this location again and perhaps maybe none of them. And having to tip them every time without them even doing anything. If I have to do all the work then why I have to leave a tip? They delivered to the venue and even set up the buffet table with sterno trays so our food would stay hot for the entire party, which is something they don't usually do! Super sweet of them. They came right on time and even brought serving utensils incase I didn't have any. Food was delicious! We had tons of leftovers to take home, thank goodness because I could eat their dolmeh all day. The food is consistently decent for this cuisine. Always fresh with pita right off the hot oven made in front of you by a very friendly baker. We found this particular branch much more welcoming and pleasant than the some of the others in our area, which is why we always come back here when we are in need for quick and tasty middle eastern food. I've been ordering combo #3 for lunch once a week for quite a while now. It comes with lamb and ground beef kebab; I order it just over rice. The lamb is tender every time -- sometimes even a little bit pink inside -- with deliciously browned edges. The beef is soft, amazingly seasoned and also is perfectly browned. The rice is fragrant, flavorful and fluffy -- such a good match for the meats. On top of that, it comes with a half piece of their delicious flatbread. I usually get two of their spicy green sauce instead of one each of green and yogurt sauce. One of the greens is what I dip the bread into and the other is for drizzling onto bites that I've meticulously crafted and mounted onto my fork. Yikes, it's so good. The staff is very friendly, and I've had no issues with my orders; though, I have only ordered to take out from inside the restaurant. I used to avoid Moby Dick because there are so many other kabob restaurants that aren't from a large chain, but I went to this one several weeks ago because I didn't feel like driving to another one and I'm glad I did. First I'm not sure why people are saying the staff is rude, I have found them to be businesslike but pleasant enough. I have now been to this location about 4 times and the kabobs have been very consistent, not burnt, and pretty tasty. I LOVE the rice and the green/chutney sauce. I was very concerned when I first got the sauces as they are pre-packaged and I worried that it would just be tasteless, but it actually has a very good flavor. The rice is the really the star of the show, especially when you mix a little green sauce in with it. I will say the only kabobs I get from here are chicken, I tried the lamb twice and it was not good- very dry and overcooked even though I asked for it to be cooked medium rare. The restaurant is kept clean and the to go orders are always done on time. I think one area where improvement is needed is the pita bread- it is never very good. It is sort of stale tasting most of the time and kind of dry, without much taste at all. Overall, the chicken kabobs here are tasty, consistent and served by nice people. Just recently tried moby dick house of kabob for the first time, and it did not disappoint! I had the kubideh kabob and a side of hummus. My friend had the ground lamb kabob with some rice and veggies (pictured). The ground beef in the kubideh kabob was delicious and tender. The roasted tomatoes were a lovely addition. The marinade and spices before they char grill their kabobs is amazing. The beef kabob is really really tender and definitely recommend the ground beef and chicken options, lots of spices with them. The yogurt sauce with the bread and food is so good. But, the best sauce is the green chutney. It's spicy, but not too bad. It's got a cilantro, yogurt, mint, acidic flavor that is just perfect with the meat, bread, and rice. Love that they do authentic saffron in their rice also. Go!! read more

The falafel needs a little work. It's kind of small, uninspired and dry. The tempeh is gross, too pickly. The rice and kabobs are pretty awesome. Food got there, after 5 phone calls (each of which was a person at Moby Dick's saying "yes they are on the way, 5 more minutes"), at 7:15. That's a really long wait with hungry kids. Especially when you are standing outside the community pool on the curb, waiting. Persian style kabobs and probably one of the better options for kabobs in the immediate area here. They do offer more than just kabobs though, with specials of baked chicken, which I tried one time and it was pretty moist, tender, and flavorful. They do make their bread, so that's a really nice touch. They do give an awfully a lot of rice though. Picking up food was very simple, they left the completed order with my name printed on the "pick up" table.. Food was as good as expected and I personally find Moby Dicks price more reasonable than other places. Meat is seasoned just enough (not overwhelming) and I love they give you enough sauces! "Meat on a stick" is the order of the day, lots of kabob choices. While most people gravitate to the beef and lamb choices (which are all excellent), I think the chicken is amazing. They manage to get the marinated spices much more intense than many other places. Most dishes come with rice and/or bread, and the bred is made to order in front of you. It's not just a meat fest though, they have a number of vegetarian plates. I love kabob and it had been wayyyy too long since I've had it. First, it's not that far from my office, score! Second, it's delicious! I got the chicken kabob, I like that it's ground chicken, and it's spicy! It takes a little while to cook, but they give you fresh hot bread while you wait, with that yummy white cucumber sauce. They make the bread there so it's hot and soft, seriously I could talk about the delishiousness of that bread all day long. I like that they give you the option to sub out an entire plate of rice, for a half a plate of rice and salad. If you like spicy, try their green sauce!
