After school treat and been meaning to pop over and try. OH MY MOCHI...! Soft, chewy, and perfect sweetness. My boys and I tried their current flavors: Ube, Maple Butter w/ candied pecans, and Cocoa Crunch. Owner was super friendly, helpful, and excited about their product. Inside was simple, clean, and smelled divine. I DM'd their IG account to tell them how much my boys and I enjoyed their mochi donuts on the ride home. My youngest said to tell the company it was 100/100! I have had many mochi donuts from various business including in SF & NYC, and so far theirs is the best. Glad he told me the new flavors for next month! As much as I wanted to buy every flavor today, we will be back soon to sample more. read more

Came down to Phoenix to visit family and decided to stop by at random. We were greeted immediately upon entering. The gentleman behind the counter explained all the flavors, answered our questions with patience. We ordered a half dozen of various flavors. All the flavors are good, but The Ube is amazing. I have never eaten so many donuts in my life in the past 2 months AND drank so much tea, too. That dam Region Tea place next door is dam good as well, but I will review that place later. Mochi donut is just different. They just taste better than regular donuts. I'm not a baker so I couldn't tell you how they are different. But dam I've been stopping by the place after work and on the weekend at least twice a week. Each time a $3 a pop each. I probably been there more than anybody that goes there but they always ask, "Have you been here before?" Fudge you!!! just kidding. lol. Probably because I'm not cute. I had been successfully dropping my weight down from 175 to 155 but it has gone back up to 159 the last two months. Aye. I hope I get tire of them soon because I need to keep going down to 150 is my ideal weight. Any keep pumping out more unique flavor. Maybe Taro would be nice. read more

Was looking forward to trying this new place out since my husband and I really love a good Mochi donut. We have had quite a few (here in Phoenix and in different cities) and were excited to see the flavors here and the presentation looked nice! However, first bite of the ube donut and it tasted like a McDonald's French french fry!??? Old oil? We ordered ube, matcha, lemon, cookies and creme, lemon raspberry, and almond joy and only the lemon and lemon raspberry did not taste like a McDonald's French fry. Had dinner across the street at chantico last night and was looking for a new dessert place to try! I was nervous to come in here 15 minutes before close but the people there couldn't have been nicer or more welcoming! We could tell that they were genuinely just happy to have customers there which is so uncommon these days. We tried one of each kind and they even made a fresh strawberry one for us because they had sold out of that flavor. I don't remember what all of the flavors were and forgot to take a picture before most were gone All of them have been delicious. They were soft and chewy and all very unique. Amazing place! My boyfriend and I passed by and had to try. Right when we walked in, the owner/manager was extremely welcoming and engaging. He gave us a rundown of the menu and offered us free samples. We ended up getting an assortment of 12 donuts. The quality was amazing with a great chewy mochi texture. Cute spot! The donuts are VERY good - different than your average. Light and fluffy like a marshmallow, but without the super sweetness of a traditional donut. My personal fav was the PB&C. The service was excellent. Side note: Parking is slim due to all the shops. read more

It's really good but I wish they had normal flavors like normal chocolate, glaze, sugar kind of like in Japan. I think that would make them more popular. All the unique flavors with a ton of stuff on them are too much for me in my opinion. Really hope they add plainer flavors. They have only been open a couple of months but they have nailed the recipe. The flavors were great and the consistency was perfect.
