The prices of a donut and a milk tea
    Nicole R.

Delicious and in a good location. The donut was chewy and fresh and the milk tea was the perfect amount of sweetness. Service was okay. I wish the donuts were a dollar cheaper.

Decided to get some dessert after having sushi at Kura next door, it's a quiet little shop with nowhere to really sit, so it is pretty much takeout only. The lady who took our order was very nice and welcomed us in. We ended up getting their 6-piece donut box, it was 3 for 10 and 6 for 18, so we figured why not (to me it was a little pricey for just a few donuts, but my boyfriend was very eager to try them). My favorites were the matcha and the chocolate cinnamon sugar donut, my boyfriend's favorite was the maple! They were very delicious and had a great chewy texture.

Craving for a mochi donut, this is the place to go. Although not too many flavors, it still satisfies the craving. Soft and chewy and a very nice presentation. Very surprised there isn't an extra cost for the specialty mochi donuts. Staff is friendly, helpful and accommodating. Drinks are mediocre because you can tell it's from a powder so nothing extraordinary.

I ordered a cheese dog, with hot cheeses for my daughter. I took a bite of it. It was good. The service was friendly and great. It was busy when I walked in.

What used to be China One, it is now Mochinut! Lots of selections for sure. Lots of parking so no need to worry about parking. The potato cheese with sugar was great. Good crunch, cheese was not as oozy as I would like but the honey mustard made up for it. Mochinuts was great too! Chewy and mochilicious! We got taro, coffee and Oreo! Enjoyed it! Coffee was good! Too bad they ran out of boba when I ordered, but while waiting I heard boba was available again. All in all, it was great! Glad one opened up close by. Definitely would go.

My family and I were in the area and the little ones wanted boba and donuts so Mochinut was a great choice. We placed our order online and it was ready within 15 minutes. The store is located in the corner of this plaza with a good amount of parking space. Store itself isn't too big, seems more of a to go type of store which was fine. My niece said the staff seemed a little slow when she went in to get our order. Donuts and drinks were good, I have had tastier mochinuts but overall it's not bad here. I would recommend stopping by.

We came here to try this place out for the first time since it's close by our home. We ordered some Korean corndogs and Thai tea. It was all so delicious. My favorite Korean corndog was the potato half and half with hot Cheetos. Super friendly and attending staff. We will definitely be coming here again. I can't wait to try the mochinut next time.

    Check out that stretch!!!

Always friendly service. Always tasty treats. I wish they had more interesting flavors, but at least they always have the chocolate churro.

First time at this location and was very impressed. I'm not sure if the same recipe is used for the dough in each donut as the original glaze and Oreo seemed more gooey than the churro one. I prefer them when they are more gooey so those 2 were my favorite. I will come here again when I'm in the area.

Didn't look so good half cheese half corn dog . Definitely looks old Half and Half

Can here with my son about 7:30 I didn't know it will be sold out and they only bake once in the am. But my son wanted to try it .. we didn't have a big selection but ours was actually good , the inside was small but clean and our cashier was helpful. My son ordered the hot Cheetos corn dog I had the half and half plain. I loved the cheese pull but once I see the dog it didn't look fresh since it was cut in half vs my sons full corn dog was perfect

    Are the donuts gluten free?

Hello Dan. Unfortunately, our donuts are not completely gluten free. They contain less gluten then your typical donut as a good portion of our donut composition is rice flour.

Do you offer milk substitutions for the drinks?

Hello Anna! We offer oat milk as a substitution on our Brown Sugar Milk Tea, Strawberry Milk Tea, and Peach Milk Tea.

We came here to co-work and although there is limited seating inside, they got some killer drinks. It was super hot outside and we just came from a walkthrough at another business so we were feeling a cold and refreshing drink. I got their Coco Mango blended smoothie which was amazing, the coconut blended so well with their mango puree. I thought it was going to be one of those sugary smoothies but it wasn't at all. I came back shortly after and will continue to do so to get this drink. Parking on the other hand is tough because of the amount of businesses in this lot. A petite Asian woman wearing heavy makeup took my order and immediately seemed unhappy to be there and very dismissive. She told me they were out of golden boba even though I could see other drinks coming out with it, so I settled for crystal boba instead. I understand stores run out of things, but the communication was already off. What really irritated me was the ube foam and the employees unprofessional service. I ordered it and was charged extra for it, but when I got my drink, it wasn't there. When I asked her about it, she told me they were out and then asked, "do you want coconut foam or a refund?" If you already knew you were out, why would you charge me for it in the first place? I wanted the ube foam and golden boba I ordered, not random substitutions after I had already paid. Another woman in a red shirt with curly hair then told us that to fix it, they would have to refund the drink and then have us pay again to reorder it. I understand the employees probably didn't create that system, but it's one of the most unnecessarily complicated refund processes I've dealt with. The store also seems to be out of something pretty often, which I know isn't always the employees' fault. What bothered me most about this entire interaction was the complete lack of accountability. A simple, "I'm sorry, I shouldn't have charged you for that since we're out. Let me fix it," would have changed the entire interaction. Instead, she knowingly charged me for something that was unavailable, didn't tell me, gave me the drink without it, and only addressed it because I noticed. Even then, there was no real acknowledgment that she had made a mistake. And despite how frustrating the situation was, I didn't yell at anyone, cause a scene, or blow up on her. I stayed patient and respectful throughout the interaction. I think it's completely reasonable to expect that same level of professionalism in return.

The Banana Pudding was creamy without being overly sweet, and the Lemon Poppy had a really nice lemon flavor. I also ordered the Zombie Coffee with banana cream. If you like your coffee STRONG, this is the one! The banana cream added a nice sweetness and flavor without taking away from the coffee. What really impressed me was the selection. We didn't get there until around 2 PM, and they still had a large variety of donuts that looked fresh. A lot of donut shops are pretty picked over by the afternoon, so that was a huge plus. Is Boba Guys a ghost kitchen and maybe I'm just not tapped in??? I've been here quite a few times…read moreover the years and my feelings are still all over the place tbh. I've never had a drink I didn't enjoy but almost every interaction with a worker that I've had here has always been very awkward or strange, my most recent visit being the strangest to date so that's what this review will be about. I was shopping in the area yesterday and really wanted a nice cold tea so I naturally thought to go to Boba guys. They've added a self service kiosk since I've last visited but the group in front of my was currently using it so I decided to wait in line either for a cashier to come to the register (because all of the workers were in the kitchen) or for the group in front to finish. A minute or two passes and a worker peeks her head out from the back and looks at me so I politely wave to gesture that I was waiting and she like ran behind the wall and didn't come to help. This was strange but a little while after the self service register opened so I just went there but another group gets in line behind me now and the girl comes out and stands at the register which is really close to the self serve thing and is trying to gesture the customers over but they're not responding and idk I didn't look over but I could just feel the awkward energy. I finished placing my order and she was still there so I said thank you and she just ignored me again. I'm a bit of a socially awkward person myself so I'm trying to rack my head around that interaction as I wait and on the kiosk it said it would text me when my order was ready, but after some pondering I look up and a drink is sitting on the table and my name was on the receipt so I just took it even though i didn't receive a text or hear them call. It was delicious and refreshing of course I forget the name but it was from the summer seasonal menu. About an hour passes and I am long gone on the way to LA to see my friends, and I get a text on my phone saying that my order at boba guys is ready for pickup? If this is a ghost kitchen I think the notification system needs some work but I think it was maybe an error. To conclude as someone who is also a cashier, I completely understand that it's hard to engage with every customer and some customers just want to get their product and go, but I think treating everyone with an baseline level of kindness and hospitality is really important when it comes to serving the public. Yes the drinks are good but the vibe is kind of wack.

I've tried a few of their drinks, but I don't find the tea tasting special at all. The jelly are fine, but also nothing particularly stand out. My first visit I waited like 20mins near closing, which is waaaay better than the hour it was beforehand. And on a recent visit there was essentially no wait. I'm not sure I'd come back as I have other boba shops I much prefer nearby me.

Hechalou ceased to exist at this location. I suspect that owners broke away from the franchise and…read morestarted their own boba business at the same location. They changed the name subtle enough to avoid a lawsuit, but the changes in the menu and the quality of the drinks are far more drastic, and it's not for the better. Gone are the traditional teas and sesame jelly that made Hechalou so famous. These options are replaced by cheap imitations of Starbucks' frothy drinks that sound good on paper but taste like iced piss with sugar. The drinks are excessively sweet, a mortal sin by Asian standard, and they have a generic taste that might as well have one item on the entire menu. Alas, to get a sip of the old favorites, now I have to drive across town instead of stop by after work. I am glad that I got my many trips here before the old guards died, and it's probably better for my hemoglobin A1c in the long run.
