I came to this place at the request of my 4 year old niece. Yes, whatever she wants she gets but oh boy was she spot on! Right away she wanted to try the fried mozzarella stick. Devoured before I could even take a picture. Careful guys these amazing fried snacks are made to order( there's a little wait) yet it's worth it. The blue lemonade was tart and sweet but especially refreshing. All drinks come in an awesome looking cup. It literally has a can tab. Super cute! The Mochi donuts are delicious . AVOID IF YOU HAVE A NUT ALLERGY. I was planning to share with my family, one of which has a severe nut allergy. I initially thought there was a miscommunication between me and the employee, that I wanted the nut donut packed separately in its own box, I clarified that I just didn't want it put in the box. They forreal couldn't just hand me the nut donut. I even went back and forth with different things we could do instead of putting it in the box but no, it absolutely had to be put in the box or the world would end lmao. I bought the corn dog with 1/2 cheese & 1/2 sausage with the hot Cheetos coat and WOW! This was the most incredible thing I've ate in a long time! This was my first time here and I regret not visiting sooner. It's a small place but definitely big on flavor. I also bought the chocolate churro, strawberry funnel cake donut and the last, I cannot remember the name but they were equally amazing. This place needs to be more vigilant and careful preparing these korean dogs! My children and myself were eating undercooked batter and not realizing until halfway through our meal is NOT ok! Had to drive back and show them the disgusting order (mind you it's around 7pm), and after bringing this to the front staffs attention all she could say was "oh sorry about that but unfortunately we don't have anymore batter to remake your order" first I wasn't asking for a remake I wanted a refund and second not only are you serving undercooked, soggy corndogs in a dirty establishment but you don't even have enough batter to continue service and you close at 9pm....make that make sense. We love love love mochinut... we were excited to have one near home but to be honest I think we will continue to take the drive to Cerritos or Buena Park... walked in to order and literally 4 workers looked at themselves like chicken without heads asked each other uh uh who will take order... really? Then The person in front of me was indecisive (which I get) but to get on the phone and call someone and have a full conversation as to what to get is not ok... I come in with my kids from time to time and he is always so friendly, has great suggestions and always delivers the MOCHINUT and drinks very quickly. Also, he's always working restocking and cleaning, and to be honest, that's rare to find these days. Wayyyyy better than two hands as far as korean corn dogs go! I came in here about about 1pm on a weekday (Tuesday to be exact) and it was fairly empty. -Cute simple decor and looked very clean inside. I was almost immediately greeted by a nice man who came out of the back, always a good sign. I picked a combo C to get one of each items since I had never tried this place before. I got a strawberry funnel donut, a half and half hot cheeto corn dog, and a thai tea since he said it was one of their most popular. He seemed to be happy to help me pick out a tea flavor and little things like that go a long way in my opinion. I waited a few minutes for my corn dog to be prepared and the donut and boba came out right away. The donut was tasty, and not too sweet. A basic strawberry flavor but it was good! The thai tea boba was also yummy, no complaints and I would get it again. But the corn dog, oh my. It was enormous first of all. Not only in length but in width as well (no innuendo intended). It was super coated in the hot cheeto dust and didn't crumble off as soon as you took a bite. The outside is so flavorful and crispy, and the inside cheese was melted to perfection! Seriously so yummy. I'm not sure if it's always this empty but if so, this place deserves more hype. I paid about 13$ total for 3 items and I couldn't even finish the corndog, I'm telling you it's so big. Very good overall, I would definitely come back. Only "downside" is that they only take card or tap pay, which wasn't a problem for me but I know some people prefer to carry cash. read more

Tonight I watched a girl, an employee who was running the front of the restaurant be very unkind. The employee watched me walk in and wait behind a couple that was there first. When the couple began to walk away from the employee, I started walking up to her since I was next. Another customer who walked in 2 minutes after me began to ask the employee to get his order. I interjected " hey, I have not been helped yet! I'm here for Eugene". The employee chose to help the man first anyway. I watched the employee prepare his order and hand it to him. I'm starring at the employee in disbelief!! Then a mother and her daughter walk in in front of me and the employee helps them before me, again! I watched her purposefully avoid me. Then when all three of them have left with their orders, the employee says to me " what's the name again?" I said "Eugene, let me get this straight, i was the First one in and the Last to leave with my order. That's how you run things?" She responded " I help people who come to the register and YOU could of said something to me!" I am shocked and very hurt at the way she treated me. She treated me as if I did not matter. The fact is she knew I was there waiting my turn, she looked and listened to me say I was next . She made the worst choices tonight. Please give this girl more training in CUSTOMER SERVICE. Love mochinut in cerritos, buut we got to the store at 8:33 they are posted to close at 9 pm and basically they said they are not taking any orders of the korean corndogs, they said they stop taking those at 8:30. However i could have still ordered on postmates until 8:50. Doesn't make sense. Will probably take our money to the other location instead.
