Cute cute outdoor seating area in front of shop. Love they have specialty coffee drinks that are different. Lots of indoor seating to hang out. I created my own latte of vanilla, honey, & cinnamon sugar, a combination of the honey bee (vanilla & honey) and vanilla bean (vanilla & cinnamon sugar). I don't like sweet coffee drinks. The barista mentioned their drinks are made half as sweet as Starbucks. The barista assured me they proportion the honey, cinnamon sugar & vanilla to equal the same amount of sweetness as if it was just vanilla. The drink was quite good. Not too sweet & still able to taste the robustness of the coffee. In addition to the standard coffee drinks, they have several unique lattes that contain ingredients such as lavender, honey, cayenne, & toffeenut & cinnamon sugar. Good place to come & try some of their specialties.

The coffee was really good. I got the latte with pistachio syrup and it came out quick. There was a really long line but it moved quickly and there are limited seats inside. They also had frozen coffee options which my boyfriend got with sugar free caramel syrup and it was pretty good.

I've never had a bad coffee here!! I appreciate the unique flavors! My favorite must be the gonzo. Their espresso has such a nice, deep flavor. The service is ok. I really love the decor here. There are so many plants and nice seating, very cozy!!

I loved the vibe of this coffee shop! There's tons of outdoor seating and the greenery makes it look so pretty! The inside is a cozy vibe- perfect for spending a couple hours with friends, reading, or working. Tons of unique latte flavors! I will say they are very sweet drinks so it's definitely more of a treat but delicious nonetheless.

The Holly Specialty Latte....simply amazing. Great taste, wonderful customer service. Stop by when you visit Galveston. Well worth it.

Great coffee and specialty drinks! There's a good amount of indoor space. But the outdoor space is even better with the full cover shade. The baristas have nose rings so you know it will be good.

Really nice staff and quick service. The place is busy but it didn't feel rushed at all. We got our coffees and sat outside, it was nice under a shade covered in greens, even though it was hot and humid outside.

We had the London Fog with Oat Milk and the Caramel dream. The coffee was good but the tea was amazing! It was a great little stop for our morning route.

Cute little coffee house with an interesting bathroom. If you've go, you'll see what I mean. They have a good selection of various drinks you can get hot or iced. Cool place to work or hangout. Lots of space in the adjoining area for groups.

I stopped by here earlier today with my family for our morning coffee. Mid Coffeehouse is located on Postoffice St in Galveston and has plenty of both indoor and outdoor seating. Inside, there are a couple of coolers full of drinks and a display case stocked with pastries and other goodies. After looking over the menu, I ended up ordering a large hot Hummingbird Latte while my wife went with a large iced version. I also liked the looks of the jalapeño kolache and got one for myself, while both of my kids ordered brownies that turned out to be espresso brownies. We waited about 10 minutes from the time we entered until we got our drinks and headed out. I ate the kolache while we waited and thought it was pretty good. The sausage had a slight spice and a good flavor while the bun was soft and a bit sweet. Both of my twins also enjoyed their brownies and ate most of them. As for my coffee, I thought it was good overall. The mix of coconut, lavender, and raspberry was an interesting one, though the lavender came through a bit stronger than I would have liked. Whenever I could taste the coffee itself, it was nice, but it was mostly hidden behind the flavorings. The bottom line for me is that I would head back here again in the future. I enjoyed my latte and kolache here, and my twins enjoyed their brownies, so why not

yummy coffeehouse with delicious pastries and drinks, for a good price too. i got the iced matcha with toasted marshmallow, and it had the good ice. i also got the espresso brownie and carrot cake iced cookie sandwich- filled with cream cheese. everything i tried was delicious ! they had a long line but it didn't feel like it at all, they got through the drinks quickly. there is ample seating too. just be aware of street parking. it is near walkable shops so it's in a good location as well

Not to worry, from the merch to the pastry case, to the products from local artisans, there's plenty to discover while you wait. I personally visited the morning of the 5th of July, after all of the fourth of July dwellers sobered up and stopped in for some caffeine to fuel the drive home. That being said, I waited quite a while to order, which gave me time to explore the menu...well kind of. Their menu lives on a wall and can be difficult to read from a distance. Additionally, their specials are handwritten at the til. While I'd love a digital copy of their menu for instances like these, I did just fine after exploring various Yelp menu photos. I ended up with a Sabrina on ice, avocado toast, fruity pebbles rice krispy and chocolate chunk cookie. Fair warning, everything in the pastry case looks fresh and homemade, so prepare to treat yourself. Shoutout for their emphasis on vegan and gluten-free offerings. Visually the avocado toast had me worried, but everything bagel seasoning has a way of curing all wrongs, if those "wrongs" in question are bland food. I found myself happily gobbling it down after a few initially hesitant bites. The rice krispy was fine, and I'm looking forward to warming the cookie and reporting back. While I'll go for a more traditional coffee next time, I'll certainly be back. I'm hoping for a smile, greeting, or positive energy from the staff next go around. Fingers crossed.

So when my wife suggested we make this our final stop before leaving town, I was just kind of along for the ride. It turns out, the ride was amazing. I was visiting NYC a few months earlier and went to a place that was wildly considered to have the best bagels in the city. They were perfectly fine but not really remarkable. But GBC served the kind of bagels we were still thinking about the next day. I think it was the softness that really separated them. Said softness was easier to detect from the snickerdoodle bagels we ordered with strawberry and honey butter cream cheese. Both were no doubt 5-stars. But for my "main course" was the Pelican Island, which was a hodgepodge of deliciousness all crammed betwixt two blueberry bagels. I really enjoyed it, but if I returned for a second visit, I would order something else only because there were like ten other things I wanted to try. We ordered the Pesto in Paradise (one of their summer specialty bagels), the Chopped Brisket Panini, and a Blueberry Bagel with Cream Cheese. Every single item was amazing! They were filled with meat, eggs, fresh vegetables, and flavorful condiments. The bagels were hot, soft, and incredibly fresh, with every bite tasting better than the last. My only regret is not ordering another breakfast bagel to take on the road. The shop offers a few indoor seats along with outdoor seating, which is a nice option if the weather is good. On the day we visited it was raining and gloomy and the patio was still full. The only downside to our visit was the rude male employee at the front counter.
