The quality of my service is always so amazing. Very clean, always professional and such a good vibe. I alway love the ways ALL of the nail technicians take care of me.

I chose this place because they weren't as busy on a Saturday afternoon. The technician was very sweet. However, less than two weeks later, my nails are lifting from the cuticle and falling off. The manager claims this is normal for dip powder, which is simply not true. I've been getting this style for years and never encountered this issue. They might be suitable for basic gel and polish styles, but advanced techniques are clearly not their strength. I most certainly am not happy and will not be returning. For $80 before a $10 I added, I shouldn't have to be getting my nails completely redone this soon.

This is typically my go to nail spot, they have great service and usually do a great job with manicures / pedicures but this evening when I went the lady doing my nails stopped 4-5 times throughout doing my nails to text and check facebook for a good 5 minutes each time. Not only was she not focused on the process and being unprofessional being on her phone but the job she did was pretty horrible. I have black dip / polish all over my fingers and the shape of my nails isn't even either.

This was my second time going to MOD Nail Lounge. Lee did my holiday dip manicure and it is the best I've ever had. He was expertly fast, gentle with the tools, and the shaping is phenomenal--no bumps or any unevenness. Not even any acrylic left on my hands! He is very kind and I am his client always now. Really, everyone working at the Lounge is very nice. Almost everyone came over to say hello and to watch Lee's process. I can't believe this only cost me $50 with my student discount and before* tip. Worth every penny!

Guy was nice, but my nails didn't come out one but how i wanted. I got charged $65 for just a one color full set. Shape was garbage, the man was rushing with the filing process and then when i called back to ask how much it was for a full set they told me $40. So he charged me $20 extra because i didn't ask how much it was when i first went in there. Will not be back.

The best nail place in Dallas! After walking in late one night, I wasn't expecting to be seated, I was just curious as to whether they would see me or not seeing as how I was desperate for a nail fill. The "open" sign was still flashing but it was past opening hours. When I walked in, Mai, who I later learned was one of the co-owners, quickly sat a friend and I with no hesitation. My friend getting gel and me getting dip with tips, our requests weren't exactly simple considering how late it already was. I explained to Mai how no one else was open later in the evening (I think it was around 8) and when we saw the "open" sign we were so excited especially since we had never tried this place. She was so sweet and so helpful. She offered some add-ons to my friend with no extra charge and was clearly going out of her way to make sure we had a good experience even though we were those annoying customers. Once finished, my nails had never looked better! I'm a nail biter so tips is always a must for me, but typically a technician keeps filing down even though I specifically want longer nails - this is a constant problem I run into. Leena, the other co-owner and lady who finished my nails, did an excellent job and payed close attention to detail. If you go for nails definitely request Leena or Mai!!

These are my favorite nail Techs in Dallas hands down case close! I have followed their journey since I first moved to Dallas 11 years ago when they worked at City Nails! Thank God they finally left and started their own company! You can not go wrong with anyone that works there from the owner Mai to her staff Lena, Julie, Kelly, and Nancy. The best part of the whole experience even though the results are perfectly perfect it's the atmosphere and the people surrounding you! I would recommend them to anyone 1 million percent! read more

I don't get dip or acrylic so i can't speak to those services. However I got a mod manicure and pedicure and the older gentleman that did my nails was amazing. He took his time and I had the best manicure I've ever had in Dallas with red polish. I would definitely come here again! read more

First time for a pedicure in a while due to a horrible experience at another nail salon. I was pleasantly surprised with the look and cleanliness of the salon. The staff greeted me right away and were honest about a little wait. While I waited I was offered a drink and they actually had beer! Big plus! Once I set down for my pedicure with Amy, she was super attentive and we had no problem communicating. She was even able to take care of my slightly in grown toenail with ease and with no pain. (Could have been the beer that helped with the pain. Lol!) Amy also gave an awesome massage! Pair all this with a competitive price and there's no way I could give any less than 5 stars! A few girlfriends and I walked into MOD nail lounge to get our nails done together and were pleasantly surprised by the great experience. We were seated quickly and had a large selection of color options. I have shorter nails and have issues with manicures sometimes but they did an exceptional job at making my nails look great. Very clean and great service. Would recommend to anyone! read more

My BFF and I decided on a whim to get a pedicure and saw this salon was close, had good reviews, and was advertised as under new ownership so we decided to give it a go and we are SO glad we did! We went in the middle of a Saturday afternoon so I called ahead to see if we needed appointments and the woman told me that they accepted walk ins but that if I wanted to let her know what time we would be there she would set aside an area for us. When we arrived, they were extremely welcoming! They weren't overly busy and my friend did have to wait and soak a little longer while a nail tech finished with another guest but she had wine while she waited and was engaged in light conversation with my nail tech--not so much conversation that it made our experience not relaxing, not silence where we felt ignored. They actually helped us pick targeted treatments for our skin and nail concerns and we both lamented that since we no longer are local this couldn't be our regular nail salon. read more

Where do I even begin?! This nail salon is absolutely amazing. I've been going to Mai for over 10 years and was elated when she opened her own salon. Every little detail is so well thought out. You're greeted with a cucumber infused water. She has rose garnished with fruit. She has the only water filtration system in the state for the pedicure bowls. Everything is meticulously cleaned. They have all of the latest Essie and Opi colors. The group of girls who work there have been together for years- Julie, Amy, Mai. They are all amazing. They also have the cutest little girl pedicure chairs and adorable kids pedicures - my daughter got Mickey Mouses and they were perfect! Communication and scheduling are impeccable. You won't go anywhere else after you go here! read more

I made an appointment at the salon beforehand and they said no problem we can get you in. I waited ten minutes until someone came to help me. I thought okay it's only ten minutes. But then I soon realized he wanted me DONE AND GONE. He rushed it. My dip nails were done in 15 minutes which is super fast and the quality was terrible. Nail polish all over my hands even after I washed them. During the nails, he touched the computer screen to pay customers out and didn't change his gloves again to work on my nails. Then I realized he was trying to get back to a customer he was working on before I came in so that was why it was so rushed! The manager tried to make things better but still the nail quality was bad. I usually give more than 20 percent tip and would've been a great recurring customer but they didn't deserve it. I actually felt paying 40 dollars for my nails was a complete ripoff this time. Before you think I am another "Karen" I will just tell you this is the worst nail experience I've had in Dallas and I've been getting my nails done since 2013. I know it's a business at the end of the day but I really felt cheated out of my money. We all work hard for our money and I don't think this place deserves it. read more

I won't get my nails done anywhere but at MOD. The entire place is impeccably clean, the techs are delightful and the ambiance is updated and comfortable. Mai, Julie and all of the staff are one of a kind and always treat everyone right. Everyone says hi when I come in, it's like going to hang out with friends. This is my bi-weekly retreat, best, friendliest nail salon in Dallas! read more

The girl who did my mani just kinda slapped some lotion on my hands at the end, no massage or rubbing the lotion all the way in. However the woman who did my eyebrows was excellent and very sweet and professional. I was just kinda disappointed in the appointment as a whole, especially after seeing all the good reviews on here. Both times I've been here I've been very happy..I wish cuticle care was included in the price as the damage is caused by the filling but no nail salon includes that. She was super fast today and got me out when I needed to be. 12/10 and that's saying a lot from me.

Even when things haven't gone perfectly in the past, my nails still turned out great about 90% of the time. So I was genuinely taken aback by today's experience or at least part of it. First, let me give credit where it's due: Louis, you killed it as always. Your dedication, your artistry, and your commitment to giving the best possible service never go unnoticed. Even though the cat-eye design wasn't possible this time, my nails still look amazing because of your skill and professionalism. Thank you for consistently showing pride in your work. Unfortunately, I cannot say the same about my pedicure experience. I came in with a clear vision and even showed the design the same one Louis understood immediately but the nail tech doing my pedicure could not execute it. After five attempts, I was almost sent out the door with something that looked like a tic‑tac‑toe board. At that point, I had to advocate for myself and say, "No, this is not what I asked for," and request that it be removed and replaced with a simple cat-eye. What made it worse was the lack of basic care. He didn't even clean around the toes properly you can still see black and dark blue around the nail beds. That alone shows a lack of attention and professionalism. What frustrated me most wasn't just the inability to do the design it was the lack of honesty. Instead of admitting he didn't know how to do it, he was willing to let me leave with a kindergarten-level design and still pay full price for a service that wasn't delivered. Even after the correction, I left very dissatisfied and disappointed with the pedicure overall. And yes, like I always do, I still paid and tipped generously. But I will not be returning. I'm nobody's fool, and I refuse to be taken advantage of. To Louis, thank you for your outstanding work, your consistency, and your genuine customer care. You are the reason I stayed as long as I did.

My nail tech was very kind and clearly a perfectionist. She did get a little frustrated when I moved my hand, but I could tell it came from wanting everything to be just right, which I appreciated. At one point, I told her I felt a burning sensation on one of my nails, and she immediately applied a calming spray, which helped. Unfortunately, my best friend didn't receive the same level of care. During her appointment, she mentioned that her nails felt hot while the acrylic was being applied. Her tech said that happens sometimes, which we understand, as it's not unusual. But several hours later, my friend's nails are still hurting her, and she was not offered anything to soothe the discomfort, unlike I was. It feels like her concerns weren't really addressed in the moment. Additionally, she asked for a tapered square shape, but the tech told her she should ask for coffin nails next time. We know what a tapered square looks like, so that exchange felt unnecessarily dismissive. Another reason for the rating drop is that we were charged for "length"--but we both got fairly short nails. We even posted photos because it's unclear where that extra charge came from. I'm not expecting a refund, and I understand that a salon in downtown Dallas will likely cost more, but with higher pricing should come a more consistent quality of service. While parts of the experience were positive, the discomfort my friend is still dealing with, along with the shape miscommunication and unclear pricing, made this visit fall short of expectations.

I asked for my credit to be refunded, because class pass charges a late cancellation fee. If I were to cancel on my end, the owner did nothing to try to help me accommodate for her late cancellation on me. I am very confused why this business wouldn't remove their account from class pass if they don't accept credits... but I have reported the business to class pass and I'm hoping that other people avoid the mistake I made by booking on there. I'm a firm believer that some businesses should go out of business, especially if they're poorly managed...

Honey was friendly, welcoming, and incredibly knowledgeable. She took the time to educate me about my nails and explain the different services they offer, which I genuinely appreciated. My technician, Tia, started my appointment right on time. She was quiet but checked in with me to make sure she understood what I wanted. While the service itself wasn't bad, there wasn't anything that stood out. At other salons I've visited, the experience typically ends with small finishing touches--like applying lotion or a brief hand massage--but this service felt very basic. I still tipped Tia 20% because Honey worked me into the schedule during what would have been Tia's break, and I appreciated that accommodation. Unfortunately, once I got home and removed my contacts so I could see my nails more clearly, I noticed several details that became more apparent over the next few days. It appeared the polish wasn't properly sealed, and one nail had missing polish along the side before I ever left the salon. Since my nails were completely dry when I departed, I believe those issues should have been caught before the service was finished. For me, the overall experience wasn't worth the drive or the price I paid. The video of my nails tells the story better than this caption ever could. That said, based on my interaction with Honey, I genuinely believe booking with her could result in a different experience. She made a great first impression, and if I were to return, I would specifically request an appointment with her.

Tia did my mom's which is the one in the picture. My mom loves that she somehow was able to make all her reference photos into one. If you're ever going there, bring some MAMA ramen for Honey. I'm definitely going back!

This is so they are able to charge if you are late or a no show. I was told by them that they expect clients to be accountable as they are, so I went along with it because I understood. They will charge me if I am late but give 15% off if they are late as well. First appt was ok but they were late. I had to wait about 15 or 20 min. The appt for hard gel I had took 3 hours! Yet I was ok. I was trusting them and the process. I made my next 2 appts at that time. The second visit took just as long if not longer. I had plans but was not able to keep them as they were because the appt took so long. I never got the chance to go to the third appt which I made two months prior and had planned right before a vacation. They sent a text the day before asking if it was ok to move my appt to a new tine. I declined because again I had plans for that day. They then sent multiple confusing texts asking me to change my appt time which I didn't understand when they originally asked and I declined. They finally called and confirmed my original appt. They then sent a text on the day of my appt two hours before to say the tech had the flu and they would have to reschedule me and gave me 5 or so random appt choices during the morning hours as if I don't work. So very unprofessional. If you value your time do not waste it on this establishment. I overlooked the contract, the high prices and the long timeframe for the service but I will not compromise on how I am treated. I will never go back and I encourage you to not waste your time or money with this establishment either. Value yourself, your time and your money!

This nail salon is absolutely amazing. I've been going to Mai for over 10 years and was elated when she opened her own salon. Every little detail is so well thought out. You're greeted with a cucumber infused water. She has rose garnished with fruit. She has the only water filtration system in the state for the pedicure bowls. Everything is meticulously cleaned. They have all of the latest Essie and Opi colors. The group of girls who work there have been together for years- Julie, Amy, Mai. They are all amazing. They also have the cutest little girl pedicure chairs and adorable kids pedicures - my daughter got Mickey Mouses and they were perfect! Communication and scheduling are impeccable. This is the reason why I love Mod Nails Lounge! I am so happy and proud of this salon because they are the first Nail business in DFW that care for the customers to install Aquasana Whole House Filtration System. This system is amazing of Preventing Pedicure Infections and Protect Skin Cause of Some incidents of foot spa infections have been caused by Mycobacterium fortuitum. This organism can occur naturally in water. Now disinfection can greatly reduce the risk of getting an infection by reducing the bacteria that can build up in the entire shop pipe system. I have been seeing my girls , friends by now for about 7 years. Only because I'm very picky for good work when it comes to my nails, and after I found the best I'm following them everywhere. MOD Nail Lounge is the best salon I've been to. All of the employees are always extremely welcoming, kind, and helpful. They have a variety of colors for regular polish, gel, and dip. I receive compliments from the colors I get done each time I go there. The employees are experts at what they do. They are gentle, careful, and meticulous with their work. Why would you choose MOD over any of the other hundreds of nail salons? Let me start by saying because the group of nail technicians that work there are exceptional. I have my favorite but I always feel that I'm in the best care no matter who does my mani and/or pedi.
