The whole concept of designing your own pizza for one price is rather awesome. You can put as much or as little as you want. Their ingredients seem to be rather fresh. I've been a fan of MOD ever since I tried them in Seattle a few years back. I was happy to have them in Austin, but none of their locations were very close to me. So I was really excited to find out about this new Tech Ridge location! I went in today was not disappointed. The staff was really upbeat and friendly, especially the man who seemed to be the manager. The decor was bright and fun and of course the pizza was great! This location and the one up on 620 have SAVED me since going vegan- it's really hard to find a good, well-priced vegan pizza alternative around here, besides Conan's (though Mod is definitely cheaper than them!). I have been here around a dozen times but it was not until last time that I noticed something very disturbing. When employees roll the dough and flatten it on the machine that can be easily be seen from the line they do not wash hands before or wear gloves. The worst was on a busier night and an employee was ringing people up at the cash register and then going directly to the dough over and over again. I do not know if this is required but I feel it should just be common sense especially if you can be seen. Everything else is great. Would be a 5 star if they could just use the gloves!! read more

My boyfriend & I went in here the other day bc we love pizza and it was closest to the house. We walked in and was greeted by the general manager, who also made our pizza and bread sticks!!! He was awesome and very quick. The place was so nice and clean. We loved it here and the pizza was soooo good ,I really enjoyed the box of the pizza.. me and my bf used it as our plates lol. Mod, I love your pizza more than words can describe. The ingredients are always fresh, employees are always quirky and super informative (not to mention friendly), and the food is superb. I mean, I can get a full-loaded mini and a drink for like $7--and the mini has me stuffed by the time I'm done devouring it, too. They have lots of suggested options for pies, but I typically make my own. I'm currently obsessed with their roasted garlic (when cooked in their oven it just bursts with flavor when you bite into it--yum!). They have a wide selection of sauces to start out with, and then when tour pizza is fresh out of the oven they have finishing sauces you can pick, too. Lots of unique ideas, for sure. This place is a go-to for me when I want pizza. The prices are reasonable, they put whatever you want on it without charging extra. Their register was down, so instead of shutting business down completely, they gave everyone their orders for free! That says something about a business when they are willing to do that for people. I live this place. You can order over the phone and pickup if you don't want to wait. If you don't call ahead the wait isn't too bad. Only took maybe 8 minutes to make the pizza. They have beer on tap, UT the best part is you can have however many toppings for the same price. The pizza was delicious and they had so many toppings to choose from. Most places when you ask for gluten free for food allergy reasons will change their gloves and at least attempt to keep things not cross contaminated, this location not at all, not only did they not change gloves they were throwing ingredient everywhere and the guy at the delivery section was extremely small and rude and didn't seem to care that he had put someones gluten free pizza on someone elses old reused random Pizza Paper. When I spoke to the manager he was nice but didn't seem all that concerned. I would not recommend this location and I would not let the guy who handed us and cut our pizza's near any food since he obviously knows nothing about cross contamination or caring about the customer. read more

Yes please! Yummy pizza and GREAT service. You pay based on size of pizza and get this...drumroll please...unlimited toppings! That's pretty darn amazing in my book. The drink offerings were good too. They had a caramelized pear ice tea I'd like to try next time. They also have a solid beer selection. The pizza I ordered was a seasonal special called the Sienna. It was delish and the crust had a nice crisp to it. The roasted Brussel sprouts were flavorful and I added roasted garlic. It was phenomenal. We just finished getting groceries and knew by the time we got home we'd all be grouchy--so we took a chance. My 7 year old daughter ordered the Maddy and she ate the whole thing. She never eats the whole thing of anything. My husband got a custom and he was happy. My 15 month old was just thankful they were super fast... as was I. I hope more people frequent this place because it's totally worth it. Wish there was a MOD Pizza in Dallas! Same concept as Pie Five, but much more variety and high quality toppings (kale, feta, etc). Fast and friendly service. I was a first timer and the pizza was excellent. The ingredients were fresh and the dough was perfect. I give it 3 stars because of the service. The guy helping us seemed like he was rushing us. No one else was in line waiting. It is supposed to be unlimited toppings but he was very skimpy on the items we asked for and then when we asked for more toppings he seemed like he was irritated that we'd asked for more. I asked for pepperoni and he put about 6 on there. When I asked for more he put 2 more. He did this with every topping we asked for more of. If I want extra then that means I want EXTRA. When he rang us out, my bill was $17.04. As I was handing him a $20 bill I told him that I had four cents. He told me that regardless if I gave him the four cents I was still going to get change back because he had already pressed the button for a $20 bill. That didn't make sense because I told him that I had four cents before he took the $20 bill out of my hand. Even if he did press the button if I give him four cents then I will not get change back regardless. These kids rely on a machine more than common math. #ModPizza read more
