Honestly, about what I expected for a lower price point pizza chain, so I can't say I was disappointed. Was in the area, hankering for pizza and trying something new, so wound up here. I enjoyed the ability to build your own pizza and with a great selection of toppings, the combinations are endless. I went with their buffalo chicken as it's my go-to. Taste was fine, texture was fine, and size was perfect for a lunch when I combined it with their Caesar salad. Also got a fountain drink which was tasty. I don't see myself coming in again solo, but I could see it being an affordable post-soccer game lunch for a group of kiddos. read more

Was pleasantly surprised, I like that you can build your own thin slice or thick crust pizza. My daughter ordered chicken, black olives and spinach topped with ranch and I ordered one with Italian sausage, rustic garlic, and black olives both thin slice and our pizzas came out crispy and delicious. I ordered MOD pizza for my not-so-lazy, but lazy day of bot leaving home and doing chores. It's pizza and pizza is rarely bad, mostly ok, but very seldomly so good. MOD pizza was ok. It's one that you'd shrug your shoulders and sigh "not bad." It is reasonably priced too. But yoo can barely taste the sauce and the pepperoni had no charred edges. My true test on wether or not a pizza is good is how it tastes as breakfast pizza, aka, cold pizza in the morning. And alas, it also was barely mediocre. I would go elsewhere. This was a very interesting and "new" lunch stop. It's Subways meets Pizza Hutt. You walk in and can either order a pizza from the board or you can have one made in the identical way you have a sandwich made at Subways. They take a pizza crust and you walk down the line and tell them what you want on it. Then, it goes right into an oven at the end. The oven takes about ten minutes and the pizza come out fresh and hot. They have some dessert pizza type choices as well as the "pride" cakes and chocolate "ding dong" type cakes. The "pride" cake is a white cake with frosting and sprinkles and it's really overly sweet, in my opinion. The chocolate cake version was really tasty. They have a berry lemonade that is to die for. Sooo yummy. The restaurant is clean and well organized. Plenty of parking and seating. I ordered a cheese pizza and garlic bread. The garlic bread was entirely too strong with rosemary and the pizza was good but average. I used to make pizza at home, with my sister, that was basically the same. Roll out a pizza dough, sauce on it, some cheese and toppings. I don't really feel I got my moneys worth. The customer service was fantastic and the bathrooms were clean and non binary. read more

This was our second visit. Our first visit was a 5 of 5 star review. Our second visit was 1 of 5. We came in on May 4th, Saturday night. Plenty of parking in the lot. As we walked in around 8pm time frame, the store had zero people in line. 5-6 employees working at the time. I thought I was very happy about the time that I came in. I felt the woman who greeted me was below par. She attempted to communicate that they recently had a huge online order. That helped to give me some sympathy. But I do not feel that allows the employee to communicate far less than professional. I felt she was taking out her frustrations on us. It also appeared that half the staff was new and there was clearly tension on the floor. It seemed like the entire team was burnt out. My pizza tasted burnt out. The manager stated loudly to the team, I've been here since 1pm and haven't taken a break. It was Awkward being in the building with the back and forth of the staff. It also seemed like any staff member could have walked out and said I quit. My receipt for two pizzas and two drinks was two feet long. It had all kinds of items on it and taken off. My wife said to me at our table, what is this? Someone clearly didn't know what they were doing on the register. And the hostility in the building made me want to avoid asking about the receipt. Luckily we have been to this location previously and understand what a good night looks like. This was not a good night. If I were by myself, I would have left and went to a neighbor location before making it to the cash register. My enjoyment at the table was ruined from the customer service that we received. I think it was more than the previous online order. I think it was a combination of events that equaled a rough night for everyone. It's the next day now and I'm still bothered by my second experience at this particular location. I was watching my pizza being made and the gal instructed me to wait at the register. She had enough of me. Her initial greeting was lousy. The manager mocked the neighbor pizza location of Anthony's pizza. I have only ordered to go from this location since I am usually ordering for my office. I love that they have such a customizable menu. It makes ordering food for all of the coworkers easy. No one has to fight over toppings or type of sauce, etc. The online ordering is super easy to use and makes group orders go smoothly. They are always hot and fresh when we pick up. Never had anything sitting there getting cold waiting for us to pick it up. This time I tried a salad as well and they forgot my dressing. It happens, and luckily we had salad dressings in the office fridge. An ingredient was out too for a few of the salads ordered. We came to this area to try the new I Scream right next door, but decided to needed some "real" food first. We had no idea you simply paid based on the size of pizza you ordered and could choose whatever toppings you wanted - as many as you wanted included meats, cheeses, veggies, even fruits and perhaps ten different sauces! This is my kind of place! When you are used to each additional topping costing $2+ dollars, this was such a treat and the result was one of my favorite pizzas in Denver! The crust was crispy and I loved the roasted red peppers, pesto, Pepperoncinis and all the meats :). The only slightly negative aspect was that my pizza, which had my name attached, was given to the customer before me. I kept wondering what was taking so long since my husband got his right away and I couldn't even see one that looked like mine until that customer came back in with my pizza. I went here to use a coupon for a free mod pizza. I wasted gas money and time. In fact, I showed up at 11 am only to be told they weren't open due to staffing shortages and income back after 1230. Like a fool, I drove the 7 miles home and returned, excited to take advantage of the coupon. I ordered the meat lovers (mad dog) and watched them make it while I eagerly awaited its completion. I ordered it to go so I could enjoy it at home. This was quite possibly, the worst pizza I have ever eaten. The worst. If you want good pizza skip this place. Go to Marco's Coal Fired (Ballpark/DTC) or Blue Pan Detroit Style (Cap Hill/Highlands) or hell - go to King Soopers and get the store brand crap in cellophane and microwave it. I guarantee you THAT would taste better than anything MOD makes. It might stand for "made on demand" but it more closely resembles something mass-produced. I had better meals on airplanes. Do yourself a favor and save your money, your time, and your digestive tract. Side note: I used their restroom and it reminded me of a gas station - do not recommend. Staff was super friendly and patient as I tried to understand all the options. One warning, if you are strict about your dietary needs, they use gloves but use their hands to dig into the toppings, so cross contamination is inevitable. I ordered their standard crust with pepperoni, garlic, chicken sausage, broccoli, fresh tomatoes, etc. Note the standard crust is more of a thin crust style - I think next time I will try a thicker crust. It was still delicious and fresh and price was very reasonable. Their flavored lemonade was also divine - had a nice berry flavor to balance out the tartness of the lemons and not too sweet. Stopped by Mod for a quick dinner and was pretty happy with my experience! I was visiting a friend who lives in Lowry, and this is a quick, convenient place to grab a bite to eat. Mod is the first business to open in the retail space for the Lowry Boulevard One development so there will soon be a bunch of other stuff to do before/after grabbing some food. If you haven't been to Mod before, you'll be greeted with an assembly line where you can pick toppings for your pizza! They have various pizza menu items with preset toppings or you can build your own. They've recently added white sauce and a couple other new toppings so if that's your jam, they've got it. The staff was pretty fast with service, especially since they just opened in the last few days. Pizzas are cooked in a 525F oven and served hot, the wait for it to cook was under 5 minutes. They also offer additional sauces such as ranch for dipping and pesto or bbq sauce for drizzle after your pizza is done. I'd definitely recommend stopping by, especially if you like customizing your pizza and you're in Lowry. read more

Also had a mini Caesar salad, with the mini pizza it was the perfect sized meal. It was a little pricey with a good tip but worth it. Yikes, they can kill someone. Upon entering I asked for build-your-own "no animal product" pizza. They said the cauliflower crust. Building the pizza I let them know it had to be at least $15 because my work pays for $15. I check out at just over $15 and wait patiently. My pizza finished cooking and gets loaded into a box... Amazing Sadie says she noticed the vegan cheese on top but the crust has Parmesan cheese. Um, what?! I had to start all over! Grr. Then the man puts the red sauce on the new crust but dairy cheese had totally fallen into the red sauce so he was putting it all over the 2nd attempt. Grrrr. I let him know, we can see cheese all over this 2nd attempt. He said yeah, it gets all over. He starts a 3rd attempt, thank goodness with a different sauce without fallen cheese in it. Then he says, there's a three dollar difference if you want me to cancel and re-ring. Dang. I reminded him I wanted at least a $15 pizza because my work covers the 1st $15. I asked if he could put the $3 on a gift card. He acted confused and said we could leave the order and let my work cover the extra amount. Grr. First and last time I come here. The food tasted less fresh than you'd get at Domino's, except Domino's would have saved me the gas and agony of dragging my kids over there in Friday night traffic. Again hardly any sausage. STRICK 3-a family member order GF crust. Some how whether it was wheat flour contamination on the GF crust in the sauce, we were about to leave for the ER. Went to Mod a month ago for the first time. Kids thought the pizza was great (even said best pizza they've ever had) so we've been back 3x since in the last month and progressively has gotten worse. Last visit was on a Saturday at 6pm. Ordered ahead and got there 25 mins later and still not ready. Not a big deal even though you can tell everyone is disorganized and defeats the purpose of ordering ahead. They almost need to creat a line on other side of their customer facing line just to focus on to go orders. Watched as they tried to juggle people coming in with to-go tickets and you could tell there was no flow or sense of urgency. Waited another 10 mins and watched my food being made. Then watched my 2 salads and 2 pizzas just sit because the pizza maker seemed flustered. But only like 2-3 pizzas max in oven so not too sure why they were flustered. Finally I had to say "I think those are my two salads and pizzas can I just grab them? No manager presence whatsoever whether they were there and just not good at leading the team or maybe in the back? A little annoyed with experience but not enough to leave 1 star or even leave a review. Wasn't really disappointed until I got home to find the kids cheese pizza look awful. It was if they put a lot of cheese on some parts of pizza and none on other portions (just crust and sauce). Kids aren't that picky but they wouldn't even touch it. Waste of money and time and ended up cooking then nuggets at home. Thought I'd leave a message through the app expressing my disappointment and see if they would reach out to solicit feedback and make the experience right but no response back so I guess I'll just leave a review on yelp instead. read more

4 times I've ordered from this location and never again. Each time I've ordered two completely different pizzas with different ingredients which show up as two desperate items on the ticket. Ingredients have been mismatched and thrown between each pizza. Completely ruining what each person wanted on their pizza. When I ask for dairy free cheese because I'm lactose intolerant I expect dairy free cheese. Not the case with these folks. The staff here is so friendly. As soon as you walk in they seem generally excited to see you which is a really great feeling. We have been here 3-4 times and each time the food is delicious.
