I 100% agree with the other low reviews on here and mad at myself for ignoring them. We wanted to support Stoner's but it was terrible. 1. Looks NOTHING like the pictures so manage your expectations. 2. My husband ordered a pizza w less cheese and less sauce-I did not. Both pizzas were identical. Very disappointing. Don't be fooled that you can customize. 3. I added 4 additional ingredients-hardly saw ANY of it on the pizza. Maybe a few pieces of green pepper and onion and no ham or mushrooms. For $1.75 each they must have 99% margin. 4. We ordered "sweet sticks" and they forgot the "sweet" ...they had NO frosting. Unacceptable...come on people. 5. It was absolutely the worst pizza we've had in a long time. We're not that picky. We don't usually leave reviews unless positive. We just want quality ingredients, cooked to our preference and neither was true here. 6. Please read the other 1 star reviews-they are correct. Don't eat here and consider yourself warned! read more

Stopped to buy a slice, they had pepperoni slices available and that's it, which is fine for me because that's what I wanted. But what surprised me is when I opened the container once I was in my car to eat the slices they had not even bothered to heat them up for me. And only five minutes had passed, so they were never hot, so I ended up eating cold slices of pizza, which I think is really lame. read more

We got a pizza to go from Stoner's and it was a mixed bag. The employee who took my order was polite, listened and got my order right. I'm particular about my pizza I don't want too much sauce or two much cheese. I got exactly what I asked for A+ for that. Unfortunately, the crust left a lot to be desired. The edges were uncooked in the middle, and the flavor was on the sweet side. I prefer crust to be more on the savory side/ salty side. The sausage, was very good. The pepperoni was sliced too thin and the onions should have been sliced thinly instead of diced. Overall the pizza was passable but not memorable. Too bad. Was hoping for something more. read more

It was okay. The food I should say. They were quick to make ours. The staff nice and friendly when we picked up our order. We ordered calzones and cookies since people kept raving about them. I didn't love the dough of the cheese and pepperoni calzone. The marinara and garlic sauces to dip them in were good! The cookies.. I absolutely don't understand what people were going on about. It was like $4 for 3 chocolate chip underbaked greasy cookies. To each their own i guess. Stoners used to be something great. Their half baked cookies were to die for. Most recently, we ordered delivery which they charge like $22 in fees and taxes before the tip. I might has well have just bought a can of cookie dough cause the cookies were not cooked at all. I got a calzone that was 60% dough. My girlfriend's pizza was moist. We're done with Stoners. We have bought quite a few pizzas, and while the quantity of ingredients was variable, the crust and sauce have been good. The quanity has steadily declined. We had been adding extra cheese, sauce and meat to a standard pizza and been pretty pleased with the results. Ordering today it is no longer possible to add a topping to a standard pizza other than extra sauce. So we ordered a 10" Build Your Own, about $24 with tax and tip, adding three meats, extra cheese and extra sauce. Frankly we would have been better off with a frozen pizza and a bag of shredded mozzarela. This was so much less than we were expecting. After Paxti's left we feel we have been in a pizza desert, few good options. read more

Do you like the idea of owning a pizza joint or do you love the craft of producing a pizza? From the name and what I just had, Jason likes the idea of owning a pizza joint. The pizza I just had matches the 1-2 stars of other reviews, but I'm not going to totally crap on a business owner because Yelp sucks. It's full of peoples feelings and it isn't always constructive. I want to be constructive in regards to branding/product marketing which has been my field for the last two decades where I have built a number of leading brands. So when I say the brand here is lame, I can back it up as to why and what they can do because on a surface level, what does a stoner got to do with differentiating their product from the other businesses in a positive way? It doesn't, and they are just getting off on relating it the pot industry from their name to the "legalize marinara." Pssss, marinara is legal and Coloradans aren't amused (as much as you are) because it's been a decade since it's been legalized. Now, if they said their marinara is so dank, it should be illegal, it might have some weight. Well, they would also need to come up with a marinara that doesn't taste like Papa Johns (I'm not a fan). I mean, if they had invested into a proprietary marinara utilizing San Marzano's, or a number of unique sauces that are wild and crazy ones from Asian influenced sweet and sour (ketchup comes from China) to an Indian tikka like sauce (yea, it has tomatoes), they would be backing up their brand with sauces that you would imagine only stoners/potheads could come up with, you know, stoner thoughts.... "like what if this was like a sweet and sour chicken pizza bro." Except they did not, and what they did do is the stoner on the couch approach of laziness and being high AF thinking they are doing an amazing product, but instead it's like a frozen pizza aka a copy of Papa John's (except we don't need a copycat). They didn't do that, and they should be asking themselves "why the cutesy marketing taglines highlighting a product element (the sauce/marinara) that isn't a major product differentiator?" The short answer is cuz owner dude is like "I'm new here in Colorado so pot bro, pots so cool bro, so we think we're cool, and our friends think so too cuz pot... it's so edgy"... yea, no man. Just go up the street (1.4 miles/3 mins) and try Piccolos pizza that has been in business the last 50 years?? Their product cannot be likened or compared, and whether or not you're high, drunk, spun (well meth users don't get the munchies), or sober, Piccolos will continue to dominate with a product like no other. A brand manages peoples expectations, and if they said their pizza is on a par with a frozen one, and if you are high AF, you might think it was great. If not, you're probably sober, and they would have also gotten the current brand right. read more

Ordered this place on a whim one night and was pleasantly surprised at the quality and flavor compared to other pizza places around the same price point. I usually order a pepperoni pizza with extra cheese and get a 10 piece order of lemon pepper wings done extra well. I appreciate the amount of seasoning and the fact that the wings have a smoked taste and I think the extra cheese I request on the pizza makes the balance of dough to everything else perfect. I would recommend extra well done wings if ordering because I don't find them nearly as good cooked regularly - they lack crunch and are a little slimy. The only downsides I have for this place is that the bleu cheese is in a packet and not made in store and they only offer 10 wings maximum as one order. All in all, a solid place. read more

Stoner's Pizza has some good size pizzas and good deals. The food was good but nothing special. I was excited for the Pep-n-rollies, and they were good, but overcooked. The Almost Greek Salad was very simple, and used Ken's Greek dressing. The pizza crust is pretty good. Overall, pretty decent for when you just want a pizza - service was quick and friendly, and location was easy to get in and out. While it may not be my first choice, I'll likely be back. read more
