MODZ! I honestly love this place. It's a wood-fired pizza spot where you can build your own, and it's super affordable. The servers are generous with the toppings, which is awesome. Usually, it's not too busy, but during our last visit, there was a kid's party, and we had to wait about 30 minutes. My go-to base is the spicy + regular red sauce, but honestly, their white sauce and pesto are just as amazing. If you're looking for an affordable, delicious, and quick wood-fired pizza, this is the perfect spot!

Myself, my daughter, bestie and her son decided on MOD for lunch after a day at the nurseries. Free parking can be found in the parking lot. Discover is an accepted form of payment. During Covid19, inside dining isn't allowed. I tried unsuccessfully calling in my order but was disconnected on each time. We finally decided to place our orders inside. Inside floors are clearly marked with the appropriate social distancing lengths. The kitchen area was clean and well organized. I ordered a mini unlimited topping pizza for $6.97 and a bottle of Blue Moon beer for $4. The pizza toppings were fresh and sufficient for the size. The crust was super thin and a bit under-cooked. They were out of bread sticks. The staff members were unfriendly, borderline rude. Overall, MOD is a fun and inexpensive way to eat pizza. In the future I will choose a different location to order from instead of this location.

Mod Pizza, moving up in the world with actual plates and everything. Caramelized pear iced tea is just the thing to wash down the deliciousness that is Mod. Friendly service, excellent pizza and great music make this a great place to get a quick meal. We came in on a Monday night just before closing, and were greeted warmly by all the staff. I came with some people from out of town who were quite impressed with the food. The notion of building your pizza any way you like was especially attractive to everyone. I ordered my usual Maddie with extras -- thus time was chicken, can bac, brussels sprouts, roasted garlic, gorgonzola finished with the balsamic fig glaze. Not only is this pizza fast and yummy, but it's pretty, too. I am super impressed with this particular store because of the amazing service, and the fact you get your pizza on actual plates! You all need to experience Mod at least once in your life.

The customer service at this location was outstanding. Everyone had a positive attitude and had smiles on their faces and were pleasant to talk to. The pizza was great, too! I have ordered pizza from here twice already and have enjoyed it both times. The first time I ordered the Mad Dog and added spicy sausage, jalapeños and pesto drizzle. This time I customized it with Asiago and mozzarella cheese with pepperoni,bacon,canadian bacon,bell pepper,red onion jalapeños and roasted peppers. It has a thinner crust but with a lot of flavor. All the ingredients taste fresh. If you are just picking up then order online and go straight to the pickup area for your pizza. There are 3 sizes to choose from and the price is the same no matter how many ingredients you put on your pizza. You definitely get your moneys worth and you will want to come back. The staff there is real nice and accommodating. read more

Amazing, nearly superhumanly good service. My group, which was around 30 people, came in during the dinner rush, yet the employees somehow managed to get all of us through the line in only about 20 minutes. What's more, the employees were really friendly and engaging, and the pizza was good. I regret not spending more time to customize the pizza, as they have a lot of additional ingredients that are apparently free to add. read more

Never had a bad experience here. The staff is super energetic and friendly and they make sure you get everything you want on/with your pizza. I had mod for the first time just a few months ago and went to the Bellevue location and then Lake Stevens. Both great but just enjoyed the atmosphere at the Lake Stevens location a lot. read more

Pizza made just for you. Offers an oven fire experience on the cheap. You can choose from any of their concoctions or simply make your own, it's like the Subway of Pizzas. A lot better though, by a million miles! The only knock on it is how long the pizzas take to cook, about 15 minutes, so a minor gripe. It is made to order, so that's the double edge sword you'll have to accept. MOD is well worth the trip if you're in the mood for pizza in Lake Stevens as any other kind of pizza joint is either a chain like Dominos or a sit down $$$ place like Contos. read more

They've always been wonderfully helpful, and the food great. We really enjoy Mod! Great, upbeat service. They consistently go out of their way to be friendly to guests. (everytime we've been in - they greet us coming in and yell a good bye as we leave.) I don't eat carbs (well, mostly) and their salads are awesome! NO ONE leaves hungry, and everyone gets what they want. read more

Iv come by multiple times and it's always been good, but I was in a hurry so I called to order pick up, didn't think it was a complex order. Pretty straight forward and basic, yet when I get home from picking it up it absolutely covered in barbecue sauce(which I didn't order) and pineapple(another topping I didn't order). I particularly don't like barbecue sauce at all so the fact they for some reason replaced the regular sauce with it is a mystery to me. read more

Everytime i come into this location, I'm treated like a friend first and customer second. Most have recognized me and my orders since I come in so much, and they always yell my name when I come in. Makes me feel good to be apart of something! Prices are fair to me and it is very kid friendly with kid friendly options like pizza sizes, chocolate/whole milk, changing tables, and hi chairs. I would suggest getting their multitudes of tea's to pair well with your piZza or salad order(s). Oh, and order speed! Man are they quick! I always get my order out and read to eat in less than 10 minutes. I absolutely love mod pizza for this alone! Especially as a quick grab and go option They also have canned wine, bottled beer, bottled soda, and fountain drink options as well. Overall, if you haven't tried mod pizza out as your dine in or take out option, you really should. It's always a 10/10 experience for me and my family. read more

I enjoy this MOD location because the employees are so friendly. They never seemed overwhelmed or irritated that I'm there which I really appreciate. The food is always amazing. I REALLY love that they offer outdoor seating here because when the weather is nice, I want to be outside as much as possible. I highly recommend this place. YUM! read more

I love MOD pizza! this location is horrible. they always have a line to the door and are SLOW..let me emphasize sloooow. I will drive the extra time into Marysville so i don't have to wait longer. Staff are constantly bitc*ing at each other. would never sit inside, all you would hear is the staff loudly complaining about everything. read more

SOOO GOOD we got there for lunch before the rush hit so there wasn't much of a wait but the line grew QUICKLY yet the pace was steady! Not a long wait at all! Pizza was nice and crispy and full of flavor! Lots of options for topings as well, which is nice for those that are Vegan :) read more

This Mod has the best staff ever!!! They are always so welcoming and friendly and they sincerely care and want you to be happy. I'm beyond impressed just by the staff alone. Set aside the service and staff - the pizza and salads are extremely good. We are a family of 4 and are full for $25 can't beat that! Occasionally we get the bread sticks or dessert sticks and they are delish! Can't go wrong with Mod!! read more

We have been here a few times. First time was the best experience and pizza is pretty good but every time we've gone since we've been so disappointed in the way their employees slob on the toppings and mainly disappointed in the customer service. Every time we go in we're given a feeling like we're inconveniencing them to make our pizza. I guess after given this place multiple attempts in hopes it's just a one time thing, we now know to not come back. 2 stars because even though we're disappointed with the sloppiness and customer service the pizza taste good. read more

Normally Id give 5 stars but the more we come here, the worse it gets. Was in for my daughters 6th birthday Sept 23rd, to take her pizza at school as a surprise and my order was wrong so I had to wait for her pizza to be remade, which made me almost 10 minutes late for lunch. Was in last Thursday Oct 1st for dinner with my daughter, and BOTH of our mini pizzas were made wrong. So they were remade. Another 15 minutes to wait and they weren't even busy. We get our second pizzas and they were both WRONG AGAIN! By this time I'm like seriously, you have this written down, so how is it you can screw it up twice?! We'd been there a half hour by now so I said, we'll just eat the second pizzas because we're both tired and hungry and it's almost time for bed at home. As we're eating our pizzas, the manager brings us out a full size pizza as requested our mini's be made like. Nice gesture but by now we'd been there an hour and I was heated. My money back would've been nicer! I spoke to the team lead, I can't remember her name, but bleached blonde with a 6yo daughter and remembers my daughter every time we come in, who is always super nice. She apologized but that was about it. If I wanted to, I could come in the following day and speak to the GM about our last two experiences here, but I don't have that kind of time! Next complaint, the tables were filthy. There was only 3 people eating besides us, but every other table was dirty and the floor underneath covered in parmesan cheese and the trash can next to the pop machine was piled high you couldn't throw anything else away in it. read more

My kids and I had never been to a Mod pizza before and I have two very picky eaters. It was unanimous, my family loved it. The service was fast and friendly even with a line out the door. The kids loved seeing their pizza made just the way they liked it. The food was delicious and was reasonably priced for a family of four. We even got a goodbye from the staff as we left. Me and my boyfriend decided to try this place today and omg it was the most horrible experience ever. The crust tasted stale and I had asked for no pepperoni and they put it on my pizza anyway my boyfriend wanted to add bacon bites and they didn't and the guy that was cashing people out and dealing with money was also touching all the pizza dough and wasn't wearing any gloves. Overall our experience was terrible and we will never eat there again. read more

My new GO-TO PIZZA PLACE! The convenient, easy, online ordering was even fun. Walked in, waited only a couple minutes, picked up my order (which was pre-paid) and walked out past the very long line. The traditional Sicilian-style pizza was delicious. Will be back again, and again. read more

We stayed anyway for pizza and drinks and I'm so glad we did. It happened to be the day before my birthday so, beforehand, I looked up to see if they had any birthday promos. Sure enough, they did, so I downloaded their app and was treated to $10 off of my purchase. Score! I was also very impressed (understatement) by their taproom so I had to get one of the RFID bracelets used to activate the beer and wine wall taps and check it out. I was having a bit of choice paralysis at first. There are SO many beers, wines, and ciders to choose from! The grapefuit Hefeweizen called out to me--like being chosen by one of Olivander's wizarding wands--and sweet nectar of the gods, it was the best beer I've ever had. The pizza is phenomenal too . I'm pretty boring when it comes to toppings so I got my usual. My friend got the Mac n cheese and bacon one, which I never would have ordered. But I'll admit when I'm wrong. It looked to die for. As if the $10 off birthday promo wasn't generous enough, they gave our table a complimentary order of the cinnamon balls and they were the perfect way to finish our epic meal. But that Grapefruit Hefeweizen? It haunted me. I'm someone who drinks beer maybe twice a year, but I had to have more. So a few days later we had a relative visit from out of town. We met for a meal in Burlington. I ALMOST suggested going to the Coconut Kenny's there but was disappointed to find out that the tap room isn't a feature at all CK locations. We had a forgettable meal at Red Robin instead. But the grapefruit hef still had me under its spell. So the following week, when my husband and I had a date night, we had originally planned to go to a fancy steakhouse. We diverted to Lake Stevens Coconut Kenny's instead for some more awesome pizza and the Grapefruit Hef I'd been craving all week. THAT time they had a BOGO promotion going on, so we ordered two pizzas and one of them was FREE. Husband had the mango sour beer. He's not much of a beer drinker, but as he took his first sip and then another, an ethereal glow seemed to spread from within. His beer had chosen him, too. And that, my friends, is how we swore fealty to Lake Stevens Coconut Kenny's. The beer will give you wings.

However, we gave it a try and the pizza was really GOOD! I was pleasantly surprised. The kids loved their meals and the cheese bread was...cheesy. The staff were very nice and helpful and the place was clean. They had a really cool beer tap bar. I don't drink alcohol so I don't know what that's actually called but neat, nonetheless. I would go again!

There was little to no engagement, warmth, or hospitality during the service. While we understand everyone can have an off day, the overall experience felt cold and inattentive, especially for a special occasion. The food was good, and because we've had positive experiences here in the past, we're hopeful this was an isolated incident. However, service plays a big role in the dining experience, and this visit left us disappointed.

In long I dig the little complex of businesses around here--the buildings have some character, and there are lots of places doing interesting things. And this market (next door) has been here for decades, if I'm thinking of the right place. Anyway B&B has a small unit. One table, a highboy, a couple of window counters. It's easy to imagine a place this good getting 5x as much seating and just being mobbed all day, but pretty much everything here is to-go. More on that in a minute. They do have a pretty full lineup of coffee drinks with some interesting options. I got the drip coffee and had it black, which is just how I typically take it everywhere, every day. It was a nice cup but a pretty dark roast. I talked to a local about it shortly after and she said she had been in for the sandwiches many times but never for coffee. Not that the coffee is bad by any means, but the sandwiches REALLY shine here. Everything is served on a scratch-made biscuit. You choose which flavor. Today they had buttermilk and cheddar-onion. I went with cheddar onion. They have tons of stuff you can add, and they have at least half a dozen different basic versions you order. I was expecting a plate and utensils, but I didn't bother to confirm beforehand. So I ordered the mushroom-leek gravy. I got everything packed up to go, but I don't live around here, so I was pretty stuck with the gravy. Ya live, ya learn, I heard. It tasted incredible, though, even if I used it only to liven up the last few crumbs of biscuit. Those biscuits, though! Flaky, tender crumb, not much crust, just some browned edge. Great fillings for the sandwich. Those biscuits are damn near homemade. We got a bag of mini ones to bring home, along with a pat of apple butter. I kinda wanna work my way though their menu. This place has a ton of heart and soul to it.

My husband and I LOVE this restaurant. We have been dining at this location on a weekly basis over the last two years. Out of the (probably) hundred or so times we have dined here we have not had a "bad" experience. I believe this is attributed to several factors: the food, the service, and the environment. The food is stellar. We have found a new appreciation for pizza and enjoy the freedom to try anything for the same price no matter how many toppings we add or change. We also enjoy how several topping choices appear to be seasonal and change from time to time. The food containers at the service counter are always filled and appear to be clean and organized. Apart from the food itself, the service is the second aspect that keeps us coming back for more. We are always greeted upon entry and encounter friendly, lively service. The staff are courteous, humorous, and respectful. They are generous and professional if our pizzas are mishandled and make it up to us. In general, many staff here have gone above and beyond to make our dining experience wonderful. Finally, the atmosphere at MOD is top notch. The friendly service mixed with the urban vibe of the building make it a cool place to sit and eat. In addition, the restrooms have been clean, tables waited efficiently, and collecting trays managed appropriately. We are proud to have MOD pizza join our Lake Stevens community and will continue to dine here regularly under such wonderful service and food as provided. read more

So the first time I went to Modz pizza was quite recent down in Millcreek, see for me I honestly am not a pizza fan just because I don't like cheese but I'm not going to hold my own taste opinion against Modz pizza. But I do have to say that the experience was unlike any other, being able to craft my own pizza in front of me with unlimited amount of options was a dream, and I would 100% recommend Modz pizza to anyone who loves pizza and is looking for a new experience while eating out. read more

Omg. This place is the shit. I thought I knew what a good pizza was but apparently I didn't until I came to the Lake Stevens mod. The customer service was absolutely spectacular. The guy who took my order was super friendly and not only did he have a sick beard, but was very helpful for my family and I. They had a wide variety of my favorite toppings and I was very satisfied with the overall experience. Definitely coming back again and recommending to all my friends. 11/10. read more

Great Pizza, Fast delivery. Only one complaint: Learn how to cut pizza. I've visited 3 times and each time I've had to pull out my leatherman to cut my pizza. Next time, we're bringing our own pizza cutters. The plastic knives don't do the job. It's common for crusts to be nearly burned - not a problem for me - but that makes them hard to cut with plastic. read more

The pizza here is entirely customizable and so delicious. They have an assembly line similar to subway, in which you get to choose all toppings for your pizza or salad. I wish this place was open a little longer because I always crave it! They just opened a new location in marysville which I will be checking out soon as well. I LOVE mod pizza!! read more

When MOD first came to Lake Stevens they were so busy and the staff was pretty new, they would often over cook the pizza's. Now they have it down. We enjoy the variety of being able to create our own individual salads and pizzas. Fun atmosphere and decent prices, fresh foods. Yummy! read more

Quite great, I got a plate of mixed greens and my better half got a pizza. Respectable evaluating, absolute came to around $23. Relaxed spot when we were there cordial staff. The main thing that didn't fulfill me was my serving of mixed greens bowl was shrouded in olive oil. read more
