This is a really fantastic MOD location. The staff will do whatever you want to customize your pizza or salad, and they make great recommendations along the way. I've had some of the best salads of my life at this place because of their selection and suggestions. They always make sure you're happy, too, and if something isn't exactly right, they fall all over themselves to fix it. Have I mentioned the staff is awesome? Great choice for a quick lunch. For those who don't know this is a quick service pizza joint where you can customize your pizzas for a flat rate. They cook it to order and it generally takes less than 10 minutes. It's thin crust pizza but they also offer salad which you can customize the same way as a pizza and it is made right in front of you. I have been to a few Mod locations and they seem to be pretty consistent. The store was clean the service was friendly and the food is a great value. These guys are amazing. They are patient with circumstances, serve great food, and are cheap, filling and happy! I generally judge restaurants based off of four factors: How long it takes my boyfriends digestive tract (which is temperamental)if at all, and if my stomach gets upset or if I get a migraine. Super good, super fast and afffordable. They are a top favorite of mine to swing by on my way home when I dont want to cook. I usually take my pizza home just because the place is so loud, not the csutomers but the workers. it is nice they yell "hello" and "thank you" as people are walking in and out the door, but just tlaking behind the counter doesn't require yelling. You truly can't go wrong with this place. Same price for ANY toppings!! If you get cheese, maybe you're wasting your money. The cracker thin crust is perfect and you don't feel bad for eating the entire thing. I usually get half Dillon James, half Calexico. The Mad Dog is another great one if you want the meats. I had never been to a MOD Pizza before this one opened by my house. The staff is as friendly as it gets, always greeting everyone through the door. They are all smiles the whole time I am there. Since I was new to MOD I received the 101 from the service there which was very welcoming. While you can make your own pie, there are some combinations recommended by their workers which are worth trying for your first time. The benefit to eating at MOD pizza in my opinion is how quick it's made while maintaining flavor. The process on how things are done is similar to a Moe's or Chipotle; but with pizza. The place is clean and sharp as well. The price isn't bad either. The pizza is definitely on the lighter side with a thin crust. Usually when trying a new pizza joint I like to get pepperoni. Normally I like Mod and pizza always tasty. This last time I was overcharged and confirmed with an employee. Told me to email to corporate what happened and would be refunded. It has been almost two weeks and have gotten no response. This employee also told me to come back in and he would take of me. Also the person who first greeted us was a bit pushy and overbearing. Or atleast to enforce showers on the staff they have. The girl who made my pizza had very greasy bangs and dirty teeth, and maybe I'm just in a weird mood, but it was grossing me out. The toppings didn't look fresh. And she had tomato sauce on her glove after wiping a drip with her hand. And continued reaching in other toppings. What if someone had a tomato allergy tho?? Came in yesterday for the very first time and I was on my lunch and I ordered ahead online. Staff was super friendly and answered some questions I had without hesitation!! I was pleasantly surprised at how quick they were and my oh my was it tasty!! I picked my own toppings and the pizza was amazing and so was the salad. Never going back. Gave this place 2 stars because the pizza itself was decent, but the people working behind the counter were not. We headed here for lunch today and ordered 3 minis. I didn't pay much attention to the other two pizzas in our group being made, but i wasn't overly thrill with the way my pizza was made. I asked for a make your own, and it was automatically assumed I wanted marina sauce and cheese, which i did, but I really wanted a garlic rub before the sauce. The lady building the pizza completely skimped on the cheese and all the veggies. By the time I go to the register i was completely annoyed and avoided tipping strictly because of her. I can't believe other reviewers are bashing their crust, I disagree with those reviews! The crust is thin and delicious, this is some of the best pizza I've ever had! I LOVE this place! CODY, the manager is awesome! He would sometimes come along and clear out your table for you and like tonight when my wife and my friends went there for dinner, we were finish and my friends and i was still talking and I made a hand gesture about something, CODY walked by and slapped my hand like giving me a high five..haha!! The workers there are so very friendly, feels like "norm" from Cheers when you enter the place they all yield "Hi!" and in my case if CODY the manger is there he yields out my name! haha! I LOVE MOD! This store in particular gets it! MOD is all about their culture and people and you can really feel it at the Alderwood location. Every time I come here I feel right at home, the staff is super friendly and helpful, they all work together amazingly. They work hard while having fun (not something you see all the time in restaurants) The store is always clean, inside and out. The food is delicious! I love pizza (I could eat it everyday and be happy) but I'm allergic to tomatoes and they have so many options for sauces (I've tried them all, but my favorite is just olive oil under the cheese) the toppings are always fresh, the cheese is the best tasting mozzarella I've had in a long time, one price no matter what I throw on there? This MOD is better than Mill Creek by far. Way nicer employees, and this sounds weird because it's all the same food, but they make it better than Mill Creek as well. I'm comparing because Mill Creek employees have been blatantly rude 2 separate times (one was the manager lady who has a loud voice and the other was a big bald guy that usually wears a rolled up bandana around his head). Usually I let rudeness go because if someone has a bad day I understand, but when it is multiple times it gets annoying. ....I'm just saying if you have to choose between the two because they are somewhat close to each other, go to this Lynwood one because the experience is far more positive. Being from Chicago, pizza can be a touchy subject for me. It's usually tough for a thin crust pizza to stand out, but MOD really is a fantastic pie. The service at this particular location is VERY friendly, even during rush hour like we experienced tonight. The pizza was ready in just about 5 minutes, like they promise, and it was fantastic. I got a slightly modified take on a meat lovers pizza, which was great. But the real winner here is the Sri-Rancha sauce. Get it on your pizza, and be very happy. Went to MOD today with the family. We ordered the Mad Dog pizza and the bbq chicken pizza. The owner was walking around, giving free slices of pizza and free little milkshake samples to everyone. The BBQ chicken was ok but I most likely will not get that again....the Mad Dog pizza was so good! These pizzas are between a small size and a personal size pizza. One pizza fed my 2 kids (14 and 4). We will def try them again, but this time I will build my own pizza...the crumbled sausage was so good and the marinara sauce on the pizza was awesome (btw, the shake sample was really good too! maybe next time). Maybe it was a busy night, but if you are going to advertise something as your competitive advantage you should have an advantage that scales (especially in fast food). I like thin crust pizza and I like a deal. So far there is always the same guy at this place welcoming you and making the pizza and he is really nice and funny. This place feels like you are coming over to a friends house that likes to spoil you - funny I don't even know my friends name. I'm a bad friend. You can get all of the toppings that you want for no extra charge but it is a thin crust so the one time I tried to get crazy and "get my moneys worth" my pizza was soggy. I'm a dork - I do get my moneys worth because the pizza is already great, without every topping they have but I think you need to try that once just to see if it's your thing.
