This particular location (Churn Creek Rd.) is the best out of all 3 stores in the city in regards to interior and general vibes. The prices are a bit high, but in contrast to its contenders, I know what I'm getting and I'm happy when I go. My personal favorite is the Peruvian Steak Sandwich (specifically with subbed-in sourdough bread) and truffle fries. Sizing of things like the fries admittingly have shrank since I first went three years ago sadly. I have yet to have anything bad off the menu that didn't please my tastebuds. (It also has working machines for their lemonade options compared to the College View location. Those drinks are an absolute huge plus!)

When asking if they use tamari or gluten free soy sauce, she said she wasn't sure and pointed to a list of salad dressing options that were marked. Not their rice bowls toppings - heads up- it's regular soy sauce. Also since I was asking all the gluten free questions, it would have been nice to be informed that the tacos were also served on flour tortillas. Not the cashier or the menu indicated this. Luckily I do not have a severe allergy, or I'd be furious. Obviously this place is a bakery, so there's gluten everywhere. I'm not mad, honestly. Just a little disappointed. Any information is best. I got the chimichurri steak tacos, which are covered in chipotle aioli - I'd honestly rename them to be chipotle steak tacos. Get zero chimichurri, the aioli completely takes over. I do like the steak isn't tough though, so still get some points for the attempt. For me, and my gluten sensitivity, probably won't be back since there aren't many options that are actually gluten free.

Located in the Placer Heights Plaza, next to Starbucks. Same plaza as Holiday Market and CVS Pharmacy. We were seated immediately as they were not busy. The menu was a bit different than online. Our server came to take our order. He didn't introduce himself and seemed like he didn't want to be there. We decided on the fried green tomatoes, fried chicken sandwich and catfish po' boy. When the po' boy came out, we thought it was burnt! We didn't know the catfish will be blackened by default. We thought it will be fried since it is a po' boy. The options can be blackened or fried based on the menu online. We were not given those options by our server. They brought out the food but didnt provide utensils until minutes later. Fried green tomatoes: It was good. Fried perfectly. The dressing that was tossed with the side salad was super salty. Catfish po' boy: Fish was tender but super salty as well. Fried chicken sandwich: Pretty good sandwich. Chicken was huge. The fries was so soggy, not crispy at all. Also very greasy. We were a bit disappointed as we drove out of our way to try this place. Nice ambiance though. I felt I was a bit underdressed lol

We chose Woody's because our little one wanted mac 'n cheese and they have some of the best in town! I cannot rave enough about the restaurant and how well they handled the party. The booking process was easy and completed via e-mail. This aspect was handy as I didn't have to leave the house or make a phone call on a busy day. The gentleman I spoke to answered all of my questions during the booking process. On the day of the party, we showed up a few minutes early to put up some decorations. A waitress and waiter came and greeted us right away. The owner even came by, promptly, and introduced himself to me. The kindess and professionalism was outstanding. Our waitress (I wish I remembered her name! I feel terribly that I can't provide it.) did an outstanding job! We were a big group of people and she took all of our orders, answered questions, and helped us with anything we needed. I hope it can be determined who worked that day so she can be given her kudos as she was lovely! Lastly, the kitchen staff did a great job getting our food out in a timely manner. I was impressed by their speed and the food was delicious. As the restaurant was busy, we didn't have a chance to say thank you one final time before we left. So, thank you again, Woody's! You guys made the party enjoyable and easy for us. We felt we could take a step back and enjoy our daughter's day! :)

(I make sourdough with starter at home as well as cook so I'm a picky foodie) This Brisket sandwich was the best I've had. The meat was cooked to perfection. The sourdough delicious and all the toppings were layered perfectly. The homemade coleslaw was sooo good! If you're a soda drinker they have glass bottled coca-Cola as well as fountain drinks. The meet your maker sauce (signed waiver needed) my husband loved. He said the chicken was tender, moist and the best chicken he'd had. The sauce was spicy and slaw was amazing and he doesn't like coleslaw. Our 15 month old ate part of my brisket sandwich, that's how tender and mouthwatering good the meat was. For the chicken, you pick your own flavor/spice level. We went with full platter (whole chicken) with half mango lime and half mild. For our 2 sides, we chose corn on the cob and cole slaw. We also added potato wedges. We grabbed our seats after we placed our order at the counter. Our order was ready around 18 minutes. They called our name and we picked up at the pick up window. Full platter comes with 10 pieces. Mild looked pretty plain but it was super spicy, tasted more like hot. Mango lime was nothing I expected. The flavor was alright but wouldn't get again. Very spicy as well. Chicken was a bit dry but overall, tasted ok. Corn on the cob was a bit burnt. Coleslaw was very creamy. Potato wedges was really good. Crispy on the outside, fluffy on the inside. Service was friendly. They do offer cups for complimentary water, self serve. Seatings indoor and outdoor. Only one neutral gender restroom for customers. They are connected to Sourdough Bread Company. Ample parking in the plaza.

For starters we had steamed clams, calamari and meatballs. For our mains we decided on their Bistro Filet Ravioli, which has Ricotta, Romano, Parmesan, and Asiago jumbo stuffed raviolis, creamy alfredo, chili flakes, topped with their signature pan-seared bistro filet tips. It was amazing. We also had their Ribeye steak at about $53.00. I think it was a 14oz hand-cut ribeye, and it had the best butter on it. It came with mashed Yukon potatoes and marinated asparagus. We will be getting all of this again. We were staying in a hotel so took home some great pasta. The service is great. The food is amazing and the place is just so cute and ever so clean.

I starved myself knowing I was coming here for dinner. The portions are very generous. We started with a trio of Venetian Arancini (fried risotto balls). Light crispy and great for sharing. We also shared their apple prosciutto salad with candied pecans, and bits of Gorgonzola cheese. The matchstick slices of apple ensured you had a bit of sweet crunch with each bite. Very yummy. I would have this as an entree salad next time. I ordered the daily special. A fire roasted salmon belly curled in a circle and a 2 big stalks of asparagus sticking straight up. The salmon was on a bed of mashed potato surrounded on a simple butter sauce. Again a very big entree. The local petrale sole was huge and served with wilted spinach, olive oil mashed potato and with a brown butter sauce. We were so full but made room for a serving of Dutch apple crisp with a dollop of ice cream. They have a full bar so we had a lemon drop and Hendricks and tonic.
