This place never disappoints. Everything is made to order so if you don't like it, it's on you. So many options of toppings to choose from, really can't ask for a better go to pizza place in the area.

Mod Pizza is like Pieology in the sense that if Pieology was 101 then MOD Pizza is 201. I did not know this when placing my order online. When I went to pick it up I was surprised. We were expecting larger pies and had to double it to feed everybody. They were able to take care of it quickly and get me on my way. While I waited though I noticed the creme soda in the cooler and took one with me.

Okay so there are so many pizza places around this area! I mean the whole build your own pizza and make it in a brick oven is almost a fad right now. There are simply so many places to choose from. We love a good pizza spot but what makes this place different from the rest is truly the customer service from the employees, specially a young man by the name of Fred. You all want a lesson on top customer service, go on a day this young man is working. Have a great day! How are you all doing? Is there anything I can get you? Thank you? I mean simple manners and this was by far the best experience for us. Everything was good. But when you have good people around it's almost as if your food is that much better. We even came back days later just to get more! On our second visit I made it a point to tell the manager about Fred and our good experience. If you're in the mood for pizza, stop here. Don't go anywhere else. This is a place to frequent.

We ate in at Mod Pizza for the first time after ordering take out during the pandemic. Great experience! The staff was friendly, the food was fresh and delicious. The staff was attentive to our food allergies and gave recommendations that were spot on. Eating in at Mod will definitely be a choice for future dates.

YUMMY pizza, fast! Unlimited toppings, clean and cool seating, good service. 5 minutes car ride down route one UMD The first time I had MOD it was in Washington State, so I thought I'd never be able to have it again unless I went there. But it's here!!!!! The restaurant is in a nice area that's still up and coming. Nice restaurant with seating for small and large groups, and singles. Bathroom is very clean! Seating is clean unless people left their trash, takes a bit for workers to come clean. We had a small wait but it was fine. *also not sure if they like people staying long and chilling, bc there was a man doing that and a cop came to ask him to leave* I love MOD pizza. The mini size is 6 inch's, for 6, so might as well get the regular 11 in for 2 dollars more. The crust is perfect, and not burnt at the bottom. Lots of toppings, drizzles, and finishes. The Mikes hot honey finish is pretty good! Overall great pizza place for any group or person!

Sadly, I recommend that you avoid the salad here. Ordered a deluxe salad and once I got it home noticed that the lettuce was mostly rotten. Called and the employee and manager who I spoke with were not helpful in any way. They have no contact email that you can send photos. They direct you to the corporate page that also does not allow photos and says that you can expect a response in 5-7 business days. Clearly a company that cares very little about quality and service. Will never eat here again!

MOD pizza at 15511 Annapolis rd., Bowie M.D. I will NEVER go there again...I was rushed with nobody else in the store!! I wasn't greeted, there was no explanation about the different sauces, when I asked about a vegetarian meat choice I was swiftly told that there was none...I simply felt like the employees didn't want me there. Even at the end of the experience, I asked about the finishers, to no avail...the representative chose to point at the menu (which explained the finishers) rather than tell me. Again, I could see if the store was packed and they were in rush mode...but I was the ONLY one there ordering!! @modpizza I was truly disappointed. The thing is...this brands pizza is good. At $8.27 for an 11 inch create your own pizza, you're definitely getting a good deal. They have a thick crust option, mini pizza option, salads, cheesy garlic breads, a plethora of toppings, and drinks that will quench your thirst. They have a few locations in the D.M.V area, maybe another location will treat me better than the aforementioned location. Other than the service...go try this pie. The parking at this location was good. **This establishment is Covid compliant**

So I was thrilled when one opened up in Hyattsville, not far from where I live. My partner and I have been there many times over the past few years and have always enjoyed it. But we were flabbergasted by our most recent experience. The food is as good as it ever was, but the value just isn't there. We were in on a Wednesday night and noticed a table sign for a special: two large pies and two appetizers for $60, so we ordered that. We each had one drink as well, and split a dessert. The bill came to over double that amount! We have paid less when eating in fine dining establishments. Why was our bill so high? Two main reasons: first because the upcharge for an additional topping is $4 each. I would expect that for fancy meat or cheese, but we only added red onion slices. Onions are one of the cheapest things in the supermarket, and $8 will buy a lot of onions. But I guess that's on us for not noticing that all additional toppings are the same (high!) price. Also, PP automatically adds a 20% charge in lieu of a tip. I have mixed feelings about that (and about the increases in tip culture in general). Our service was fine but not exceptional. Sadly, we will think hard before returning to PP. There are many other good pizza places out there.

My favorite pizza is the Bosco: mushrooms, spinach, onions and recently I ordered the 1/2 pizza with Bianca, a white pizza with mozzarella capers and spinach. The food is incredibly tasty but I do feel like the pizzas are on the small side for the price. I don't have a huge appetite but I could it a 12 inch all on my own. Staff is fine, I wouldn't say anything bad but they also weren't that warm. Great spot for dinner and their outdoor patio suits all seasons.

We ordered a large pepperoni pizza, a small meatball pizza, and a salad. The pizzas were so good but the salad was kind of odd. It was broccoli, carrots, peppers, onions, and a little bit of lettuce. I ordered a Bahn Mi Rice Bowl and it was delicious with the right amount of spice and seasoning. I was a little worried about the level of chili in the tofu but was assured Franklins typically keeps it fairly mild...and it was. The fresh mint was lovely mixed with the jasmine rice, carrot ribbons and finely chopped mushrooms. The chili peach jam was a perfect sauce. The restaurant has a lot of character with artwork on the walls and lots of booth seating as well as tables and chairs. There is also outdoor seating at picnic tables at "The Hut" and the Quarantiki Room open seasonally. I am on their email list (and yes I read most of my emails that are of interest to me) and noted they had an Oktoberfest kick off party happening this week on Thursday evening from 6pm -9pm in their outside patio, so decided to come here. We showed up at 6pm on the dot and the place outside was already packed with people. They were having a live Oktoberfest trio band play, so that was cool! A lot of people were in their Oktoberfest garb/outfits, which was adorable. The challenge was getting a beer and a non alcoholic drink for my mom. They had nothing NA for her and she ended up just having a glass of ice water. I got in the mobbed line and had a Kellerbier, which was brewed especially for Franklin's and Oktoberfest. They had an issue with their handheld payment device so that made the line longer. Beer was fine, but wished I could have gotten my mom a lemonade or iced tea. The other issue was the seating. We opted to sit over in the sandbox/kids area and the picnic tables didnt feel like the best use of space. The trio band was lovely and played some nice tunes including Edelweiss which is one of my favorite songs ever (yes I loved The Sound of Music and have watched this so many times as a kid with my mom) but it would have been nice to see the band more in the center of things, closer to the bar hut. They were serving up German sausages and huge pretzels but the line for beverages and food was so long that I didnt bother to purchase food. This was a great idea and I hope that the next one they do, they can iron out some of the wonky kinks. I'd come back again for an Oktoberfest for sure. My mom and I had a great time!

I called ahead, my order was ready on time. The restaurant staff was friendly. They have a few tables, but definitely more of a carry-out place. Solid value for money considering the area. The pizza was ~$19, and the gyro was $7.50 - not bad for ~4 meals worth of food! Flavor was fine, nothing amazing but serviceable given the price point. Pizza crust had a slightly off smell. This would normally be a 3-4 star review. Unfortunately, the box had a dead cockroach on the bottom, and when i removed the last two slices and broke down the box I found THREE MORE dead cockroaches in the folds of the box. I understand that wild animals are not entirely under the control of the business, but I feel that if you have a cockroach problem you should inspect food containers before you fill them and give them to customers. Thankfully these roaches were dead, but they might very well be shipping infestations right into peoples' houses! I don't think I'll return unless I see the health inspector sign off on the place.

We aren't big meat eaters so perhaps might've ordered the wrong things. On the day we came, we ordered the brisket tamale (2 come in an order), an order of the Texas chili (this was the special), an order of the herby potato salad, sweet potato fries, 4 pieces of cornbread and a banana pudding. Ordering these items came to $47. My mom had a Boylan's sweet lemonade and I had a pilsner draft. We sat outside on one of the many picnic benches under a tree and sampled all the goods. Texas chili - this was pretty so-so for me and tasted like spaghetti sauce to me vs chili. It had a bit of a kick to it. I didn't really care for this dish and won't order again. Brisket tamale - this by far was the favorite item for me, however, pretty skimpy on the brisket. Some sour cream and pico de gallo would have been nice to accompany the tamale. Sweet potato fries - solid and tasty but hard to screw up fries really. Herby potato salad - way too watery for me, seemed the potatoes soaked up a lot of fluid and this style of potato salad didn't work for me. Cornbread - solid, no issues there. Banana pudding - pretty tasty, with real bananas and Nilla wafers mixed in and on top. I would come back for this. I deducted one star for some things we sampled that really didn't work. Another star deducted as the prices were higher than what I am willing to pay for given the quality and taste. Overall, a bit underwhelming but also we didn't order items that they are known for. I would come back to give more popular items a try another time.
