It's pretty good. They make the pizzas right in front of you and all the toppings are including in the price of the pizza. The salads are pretty good as well. It's that new fast service type pizza joint that tries to set themselves apart but they're really just like all the other new fast service pizza joints. This was our first and last time at this MOD pizza Riverton location . The pizzas were made poorly, they were way understaffed. It wasn't clean with trash on the floor, the drink station was dirty and several tables needed to be cleaned. No area to wait for a to go order. So bad decided to make a salad at home. We will stay with the South Jordan MOD location. It is a little bit further but way worth it. read more

The food is good, but the service is seriously lacking. All three times I've been here, I've been the last (or only) person in line, but have been rushed through as if the employee was desperate to get back to... doing nothing? Seriously, I've had the employees almost interrupting me to ask their next question as I'm giving them my order and then turn around to shoot the breeze with someone else behind the counter. Don't get me wrong - MOD Pizza's business model is to deliver great-tasting pizza quickly, but I always feel like an inconvenience to the staff when I'm here. My advice would be to avoid this location - hopefully with a different manager and/or staff, the service will improve in the future. read more

I don't get all these bad reviews, but I'm guessing they went when it was busy, anyway there was only a few people and the staff was really nice and littt they helped me with my order when it was my first time there. I made an online order for pickup. I arrived right before 1 PM and they weren't busy. I ordered a pizza, a no name cake, and a blood orange San Pellegrino drink. The employee gave me the pizza, but skipped the cake and the drink. I said something and then he got me the cake, but still no drink. I said something again, and he tried to give me a cup for a fountain drink. I told him I didn't order a fountain drink. He then gave me a plain bottle of San Pellegrino instead of the can of blood orange flavored. Finally after the 5th try I got the correct item. When I got home and took out the pizza, the crust was burned, as in black all over the bottom. I have a pic I'll upload in the photos area. It's too bad because the pizza probably would've tasted just fine if the crust hadn't been burned. read more

This is the least busy MOD pizza in the valley. I love the pizza here. Unlimited toppings for a flat rate. There's so many different choices of combinations of toppings, or you can choose one of the different kinds of pizza they have on their menu. There are not very many other places I'd rather get a pizza from than MOD. Also, the staff is always awesome. My daughter loved picking her toppings and watching her pizza being made. Then the fire oven was fast and made an awesome thin crust nice and crispy. read more

Pizzas were ok. Went a few weeks back and the place was empty. Ordered 4 different pizzas and it took forever. They forgot ingredients on some of them and had to remake some of them after about 30 min I got everything. They did apologize but couldn't understand why the manager or maybe owner was sitting around doing nothing while these guys were struggling. And when he did notice didn't interact with me at all. I love any business that takes care of the customers but this place and that guy just missed it. I hope they get things worked out cuz the place is beautiful and a great concept read more

I'd heard good things about MOD from family and friends so I thought I would give it a try. I was impressed with their selection of toppings, especially the non-dairy cheese. When we got through the line to order, the kid was slightly unhelpful. He hurried us through the process. I was with 3 kiddos ages 8-11 who were ordering for themselves and doing a great job, but he was short with all of them. When it came time to pay, I stood at the register for several minutes before the same kid that took our orders came over to help us. After ordering drinks and telling him what all we had ordered, I inquired about their draft beer selection. The option for a pint or a pitcher of beer was clearly stated on the menu. The kid stared at me wirh a blank look on his face. Then told me they had 16 or 20 oz available. I asked again what my options for beer were, and he got super squirmy and nervous. Told me he wasn't sure he could answer my question. So I asked where it was that I ordered my beer from. He started stuttering then caught the attention of an older gentleman that was plating pizzas. He passed along to this gentleman that I had questions he was not able to answer. Why did he have to make this all so incredibly awkward??? The second gentleman walked up and I said..."I am interested to know what beer you have available on draft." He then informed me that none of the 11 Utah locations have beer and the company made all the same signs for all the stores. I found it odd that they were advertising for beer, bu not de-advertising for it. I selected water for my beverage, which is perfectly fine. I, however, cannot for the life of me l, figure out why they had to make the whole situation uncomfortable and awkward. Figure it out, folks. No beer is ok, it is Utah, after all, but don't advertise for it. In the end, the pizza was decent. Kids were happy, as was I. Just may think about not mentioning the beer next time. read more

I had only been there once before, a very long time ago. Hadn't returned because I wasn't very impressed with the food quality. This time my daughter and I decided to try it again and although the pizza was decent, the manager (Spencer) who took our order was very rude! We ordered two kid size cheese pizzas and two pepperoni.....how complicated is that?? He kept insisting that we call the small ones "mini Maddie" and acted like he didn't know what we wanted. Came to Mod because I've tried other quick fire pizza places....so what makes this one special? Same standard pizza. Bread wasn't anything special. Sauce was slightly spicy. Mozzarella was the only real cheese choice. Meat choices were comparably good. Veg choices were limited. They offer a cheesy bread and a cinnamon bread. Neither of which would I order again. I was able to order a Mini mod for my 3 year old. It was only slightly discounted, so not worth the price in my opinion. The one thing that did stand out was the pumpkin spice no name cake. There is another quick service chain that offers a similar dessert but's haven't seen the seasonal pumpkin spice. It was tasty. In conclusion.... no need to go back. I did an online order and went to go pickup in store and it was wrong. So I went back to get it fixed because they did not grill the onions on the first one. I would have given this a 5 star- until our visit today. The angry manager seemed to be holding back on toppings and then we had the pleasure of him as our cashier. He was talking under his breath.. we found out he was mad because he didn't charge us for the cauliflower crust- he turned his back on us as we tried to figure it out. I love the food here, been in multiple times, one concern is the friendliness and customer service can be a luck of the draw. Sometimes I have heard open complaints and insults to and or about customers, but they are nice and respectful most of the time and they have this goofy sincere guy, wears a hat with hair, I came in in the evening yesterday and he was obviously having a hard day but was still happy and respectful. The food is good for a pizza joint. Coming in and ordering is a good system but you almost feel rushed by how fast the staff are going. I've come in twice and the first time it was empty and a good enough experience to warrant a second try. I went in Friday January 22nd and ordered my pizzas. The lady pulling the pizzas out of the over was practically tossing them at the counter to get boxed. Chucking the pizzas wasn't appreciated a lot, but the ONE STAR review is because as she was chucking pizzas. She knocked a salad off the counter and it spilled on the ground. The guy working the counter sighed, picked it up as if he was going to throw it away and remake it. Unfortunately he did not, he grabbed a new lid and slapped it on floor salad. To me this is unacceptable no matter how fast or busy you are. If a salad falls on the ground and spills. You absolutely do not pick it back up and still serve it. read more

I was really a fan of this place, but my service tonight was really discouraging... I am pregnant and I have celiacs, so making sure my food is safe is really important. We ordered online, I got a Tristan (mozzarella, Asiago, roasted peppers, mushrooms, and pesto) and added artichokes, olives, and diced tomatoes and requested cauliflower crust. I noted that gloves should be changed for an allergy. My husband picked up the order, only to find out when he got home that it also had spinach and red sauce on it. With those not being what I ordered, I worried about the crust. We took it back and were told they'd remake it right away. We waited, and waited, until an employee asked us if we'd already eaten. We explained that we were still waiting on our order. They informed us they had nothing complete and nothing in the oven. The employee who made our remake didn't know where it went and they figured someone took our pizza. They then made the pizza again. They had lost our ticket and needed to know what it was again. They were now out of diced tomatoes and slapped on a bunch of sliced ones, along with the most giant pieces of mushrooms I've seen on food (I had to pick them off because they overwhelmed everything), and basically cut the pizza into 3 giant pieces. When they handed us the pizza, the guy was kind enough to apologize for "two messed up pizzas" and to compensate for that, to add insult to injury, slapped two moon pies (they call No Name Cake) on my box that are chock full of gluten! Dude, after making my same pizza 3 times and being cautioned I have celiacs, what the heck?! I don't think I'll be as eager to go back soon. read more

Nice people but horrible timing for quick service. I have been to MOD in Denver and the staff was at least 3-4 more per shift than what is at this location. I ordered online so I didn't have to wait in line at the restaurant and it still took them 40 minutes and my pizzas were cold. They did give me a certificate for a free pizza, but I don't want to use it and get another cold pizza and wait 40 minutes for it. I hope they get it together because this was my second time there and it was worse the first time. read more

Food was great. I did have to send my pizza back to have it cooked longer and unfortunately my family was done eating by the time I got it back. I ended up packing it to go after I got a taste. Their was a tall, blonde kid with a tattoo on his forearm that made the experience uncomfortable as a whole for me. He was the "ball hog" of the establishment. There was a nice blonde girl finishing up two of our pizzas, he came over and "took it over" proceeded to bicker with her as she was trying to go get stuff done. She looked apologetic as she tried to cut his bickering short as she was pushing through the swinging doors. He seemed frustrated that she was leaving him to finish when he clearly took her job out of her hands. When I took my pizza back to have it cooked longer, tall blonde guy was talking to another worker. I stood their uncomfortable again. He finished his conversation, then told the kid to "go help that lady". I am leaving three stars as a middle of the road. Zero stars for him and five for the food. I wouldn't go back solely because of him, if I was positive he wouldn't be helping us (or making things uncomfortable for everyone around him) we would return for sure.
