Went to the grand opening today. This place is awesome! They have Daiya cheese..Finally a pizza place here that offers daiya cheese. It was the best pizza I've ever had here in kitsap county. The staff was so friendly too..we'll definitely be back..I might have to make this a weekly family place to eat. The mini pizzas are $4.87 and the medium MOD pizzas are $7.87..excellent pricing..the only way this place could get better is if they offered non dairy milkshakes.:) read more

Went to opening day and was not disappointed! Great vibe in the building and even though the line was long (due to it being super busy on day 1) nobody was complaining. The line moved fast and the staff behind the counter were friendly and helpful. Even with it being so busy, we didn't feel rushed on our pizza choices. The pizzas were ready very quickly and tasted fantastic. The district manager was walking around chatting with customers and we really felt welcomed and appreciated. I had only been to one MOD pizza before so I somewhat knew what it was going to be like. I love the idea of being able to create your own pizza! I could list the ingredients I chose but the list would be too long! I also love the variety of ingredients they have to choose from! This location is less than a week new so we expected a long line but we walked right in and had our pizza in less than 10 minutes. I was pleasantly surprised that they served beer so of course I treated myself to one. The manager was walking around talking to customers and noticed the crust of my friends pizza was a little dark. He gave us both coupons for a free pizza! To go boxes were brought to us without question and all of the employees were very cheerful. It is safe to say this will be a new cheat meal spot! read more

Ordered online, first time customer, super cheap well-sized pizza that still tastes great while having more options than the pizza giants like Dominos/Pizza Hut do. I'm so happy they have pesto, maybe the only pizza place left that offers it. Certainly earned a new regular. Seemed a little overcooked, but it actually added flavor like most fancy places do. Never been able to appreciate a little char on the crust till now. Potential for vegetarian options is much appreciated as well, as well as vegan options with the cheese. Saving the custom salad I ordered for tomorrow morning (...or tonight) but it looks lovely already. It looks like there's also an effort towards eco-friendliness too in the packaging and from what I read in the FAQ, that's great. read more

Based on all of the great reviews on Yelp I wanted to try them out so I dropped in for the first time last night and I was not disappointed. As others have mentioned the lines can be long but it does move quite quickly. The toppings are plentiful, the staff helpful and actually seem to enjoy working there. Everyone was great. They take food allergies very seriously! Mrs. Jeff d has Hashimoto's disease and her food has to be gluten free. They swap out gloves when prepping the pizza to reduce any chance of cross contamination without even asking. The pies were actually very good and served up quick. If you're in the area give them a try. I bet you'll like it! read more

We love quick, made-to-order, artisanal pizza places. To be truthful they were struggling with their system as the line grew quickly. But, this was made up for by the great customer service and friendliness of the entire team. They were so patient with our build-your-own preferences and were attentive to getting it right. They were generous with toppings and when I asked for "extra" they really gave me extra!! We are so happy to have a pizza spot where we can fulfill our personal cravings and not worry about family concensus. Will definitely be back. The lines are expected given that it just opened and there are not alot of great options in Poulsbo/Silverdale. It's fast casual at its best. We have been twice since it opened. The food is fresh and the quality seems up to par. I was surprised at how good of a deal it was. Our family of four had salad, pizza, and drinks for under $30. The military discount was a pleasant surprise. So many places around here don't do it so I rarely ask. The cashier saw our USAA card and confirmed my husband is active duty. I have to say too, that even with the long lines the employees are keeping up the great attitudes. You can tell they are just trying to keep it going in overdrive. The manager, Tasha I think her name was, even stopped us to say hi and thank us for coming in. Niceties like that can get lost in the mayhem. We will definitely be back! read more

A blonde girl was in a very bad mood i guess and she just kept rushing me and my boyfriend who didnt know how Mod Pizza worked at the time and i could tell she was getting frustrated with us so it really dampened our mood and didn't come back during that time to avoid her. Who doesn't love pizza? I know I could eat it every day. Sure, I'd die a lot quicker, but at least I could die doing what I love: indulging in perfection - and Mod Pizza has done it right. First, the negatives, which are minor and no way detract in any real way. 1. It's quite loud. The music is pretty loud, and with the lack of insulation due to design, it echoes. Which makes it louder, and forces the staff to have to yell order names. I can't imagine what the sound level is like when the place is packed. 2. The assembly line system, while a good idea, seems to have too many people working at the same time. Wires crossed, not a whole lot of communication. A gal was handed my pizza and I asked for arugula, but because it was too loud and handed to her at the end of the line (opposite the greens), she put oregano instead. I asked for arugula again and she insisted she put it on there. I pointed at the actual arugula and she had to pass my pizza through two other employees to get it. I'm not saying get rid of it, it just needs fine tuning which will totally come with time. I mean, they have only been open under a week. Anyway, the positives, which makes loudness and assembly line mishaps not even matter. 1. Excellent service. Our first time there, they explained how it worked, were super bubbly and friendly, and even gave my fellow a free milkshake cause it was his birthday. Second time, everyone was great again, save for the oregano/arugula mix up. 2. The topping choices are fantastic. Never have I wanted to pile so many different thing on my pizza before! 3. The price is awesome. I'm not a huge eater so a $5 mini pizza is perfect. I get my money's worth and it makes it easier to splurge more often because it remains inexpensive. I love that it is infinite toppings for the same price. 4. Convenient location. I love where it's at and that I don't have to weave through the cluster-eff that is Silverdale to get there. And that I can pick up a pizza there and a nice beer or cider from Total Wine right across the lot too. Can't wait to go back and try more fun combinations. The Jasper was awesome, but my mushroom/arugula/cauliflower/garlic combo was even better. read more

This place has the best staff around. Super friendly and go out of their way to make your order right. I made a mega dough and then after I paid they realized it was a regular. I couldn't really tell the difference but they insisted on making another pizza with the right crust and gave me both. No issues. Nothing but smiles. I'll start off by saying I hate pizza and I'll actually suggest to go here. I'd say it is more flat bread style and there are tons of options for toppings that I prefer, like pesto, veggies, and lighter options. Overall it is a nice lunch place, I'd probably never go here for dinner. The only thing I'm not a huge fan of is the Subway style service where I feel rushed to choose what I want if I make it my own way. Every time I have gone rogue and decided to a make it yourself pizza I have felt rushed and not gotten exactly what I wanted...that might just be me though. Pizza is really good (and reasonably affordable), and normally it's served fast compared to the average pizza place. But, that said, my recent first-time experience with doing an online takeout order was bad. I live 12 minutes away, and my order said the 3 pizzas I ordered would be ready by 6:15 pm. I sent my teenage daughter to pick up the order. When she arrived, they told her they were running a bit behind (ended up being 45 minutes behind). And when the pizzas came out at 7 pm, my son's pizza was completely wrong (gluten free crust with all different ingredients than we picked online). So they had to re-make that. Meanwhile, the other two pizzas just sat there getting cold -- ended up being 8 pm when my pizza arrived home, cold and sad looking. I had to put it in the oven to take the chill off. They could have either remade all the pizzas, or at least kept them on some kind of "warmer" while the pizza that was made wrong was being remade. And that remade pizza apparently wasn't a high priority because it took another 30 minutes to make. Good food, but I've seen where their cattle call, assembly line operation style works against them from a customer service standpoint. read more

Same price for unlimited toppings and the pizza is cooked in a wood fired pizza oven. The pizza is so good! And when we got our pizzas, one of them had accidentally had bbq put on top at the end, and someone was super quick and cooked a new one for us. And gave us a free milkshake!!!! Good menu and good pizza, but poor food safety & sanitation practices. You can watch them make your pizza and salad in front of you, and they are wearing gloves. However, there was a lack of glove changed between tasks, causing significant risk of cross contamination. Everyone behind the counter I observed (while waiting in a very long line), touched the exterior of the containers, wiped food off the counter, put their hand down at their sides, etc... all with a single pair of gloves. Everybody told me to come try the pizza. I'm here for the first time and it is awesome! I ordered the Olivia and added chicken. When it came out, they forgot to add the chicken. I took them they could throw some chicken on there and throw it back in the oven, but they said no. They made me a brand new pizza and gave me the mess up to take home. Stopped by last night to try out this place for the first time. We love pizza so were excited to have somewhere that all 4 of us can order exactly what we want without making ordering complicated. All sizes are a set price and you can load your pizza with whatever toppings you desire! My youngest got a mini cheese. my oldest got pepperoni, olive and bacon. I ordered a Mediterranean inspired "Dillion James" and added onion, olive and feta (see picture). My husband loaded his pie up with meat. We decided to try the strip n dip (just ok-I'll skip it next time) and got 2 sodas to share and it came out to $35. The few times I have been here it's been fast service and the food was always good. The recent time when I had pizza for my family here, they accidentally gave my pizza to another person and that person quickly gave it back. The staff immediately told me what had happened even though I saw the whole thing, and said they would make me a whole new pizza for the inconvenience. My pizza we untouched and perfectly fine, so it wasn't an inconvenience at all. The fact that they offered to do that speaks volumes with how they run their business and food safety there. Worse pizza I EVER had...and I have eaten a lot of pizza. What a ripoff. Ordered with ubereats, photos look great. I ordered with mozzarella and red sauce and couple of toppings. This pizza was DRY and flavorless. NO cheese I could see, and crust looked like it was dyed red. All I could taste was crust and pesto and it did not taste very good.
