I was worried about the warmth in there because of the oven but it was very comfortable, not bad in the shade outside tonight either (tipped extra generously anyways because in front of a pizza oven is the last place I'd want to be these days!!). Service was quick and they gave generous portions (usually when I order online I get like 1/3 of what they gave me tonight, like the lightest sprinkle) and employees all wore masks if I remember correctly. ALSO they don't judge if you want a bunch of veggies on your pizza, unlike my partner you get unlimited toppings for under $10! If you've never been, and want to sit inside, just fyi there's a lot of yelling from the staff (it's their thing, tho). Men's restroom always seems to be hit or miss with cleanliness and the dinning area always seems to be a little messy. I finally got to try MOD pizza today and this is the best pizza I've had in a long time. I got the cheese. I loved the sauce, it has a nice fresh tomato taste, and the cheese melts beautifully and each bite is perfection. It's also fast! You'll be surprised just how quickly your order is ready! I came in today on my lunch (11:10am) craving a pizza and what I got was disgusting! I got half way through my pizza when I bit into and saw a black hair baked into my pizza... I couldn't even pull the hair out... I had a skinny blonde haired girl making my pizza at the line, but the woman who put my pizza in the oven had dark brown/black hair with straight bangs..... No hair net.... Her bang hair fell on top of a piece of pepperoni and the cheese melted the hair into my pizza... I'v never been so disgusted and grossed out, especially for a place I don't normally come to, but when I do I normally enjoy it. I'll think twice before coming here again or recommending it to somebody else. There needs to be standards when working with food and clearly there aren't many for MOD in Silverdale. I also tried to call immediately but conveniently went straight to voicemail and the mailbox was full... A few months ago I wrote a scathing review of MOD Pizza based on the quality of the food. However, I just learned that the focus of the business is not on the food, customer service, or being highly profitable. The founders, Scott and Ally Svenson, are in business to make a positive social impact on society, to give back to the community in return for all the millions they made on the coffee chain they started in the U.K. that they sold to Starbucks. Yes, they're concerned that the pizzas and other dishes they sell should be top quality. Overall, their type of pizza isn't my favorite but, again, that's not the point. The Svensons hire ex-felons, drug addicts, the homeless, in short, people who are practically unemployable anywhere else. The Svensons hire these people to give them a second chance, paying them a living wage along with excellent benefits. Their employees are taught valuable work and life skills, and are given responsibilities to help them grow more confident and able, to become valued individuals in their own minds and in others. Besides showing the utmost respect and compassion for their employees, the Swensens, donate a percentage of company profits are donated to local charities The only time I've been to MOD Pizza I found the service fast and friendly. The food was overall good, with my custom-made MOD salad being a standout, as were the garlic strips and dipping sauces. So, my wife and I will be going back again to MOD Pizza to support a wholly unique concept in this modern business age: using a commercial business to make a positive impact on people.s lives and thus in the world. She made the experience fun and we will be back because of her. I've been greeted every single time I've walked in no matter how busy they are. I've been given free milk shake samples while I waited in line. I've been given my order twice because the person who "finished" it said my dessert was burnt (even though I thought it was fine) and she wouldn't eat it, so therefore she wouldn't expect a customer too. Talk about quality customer service. The people who work here truly care about their reputation their company and it shows in the way they treat their customers. The milkshakes are delicious (I also get the Oreo mix in), the cinnamon pizza sticks are to die for (get the regular "frosting" and thank me later" and the pizza is always fresh and to your liking. We love Mod Pizza and have been to this one many times. Timing is everything, since if you get there when they are really busy the line will be long. This visit we lucked out and were able to order and eating our pizzas when the crowds came. Our pizzas were perfect, since we chose what was on them and they were just what we expected.
