We wanted pizza and just happened to be driving by so stopped in. You order at the counter (like Subway) and they make your pizza or salad right in front of you. There are pre-named choices or you can make your own. One mod pizza will feed one person. One mod pizza and one mod salad could be shared by two people. When we arrived they were busy so it took about twenty minutes to order and receive the pizza. Not bad. The pizza tasted great. They do serve beer here. Parking is easy. Worth a trip if you've never eaten at Mod Pizza and you can form your own opinion. I think the food here is very good value for your money. Wow, honestly I cannot even tell you enough good things about MOD Pizza especially the one in Stanwood. I have spoken to the manager Sharon a few times, only because I order from MOD Pizza a TON!! A few weeks ago I ordered 10 or 12 pizzas with cokes to my son's middle school for administration staff, today her and I were chatting and I literally just found out that they have special needs workers helping there which is AMAZING, just literally brought tears to my eyes. That is phenomenal and that is what America is all about. I'm so happy to have MOD in Stanwood. Not only the pizza is phenomenal the entire staff is alway amazing, cheerful, and welcomes are you into their store as you walk in.. It truly is hands-down my favorite pizza in Stanwood. But what makes the MOD Pizza in Stanwood even more special is the manager Sharon. She was so professional, very well spoken, extremely kind understanding and caring all at the same time she is truly exactly what a manager should represent. She does her job better than any manager, I know out of any stores I have been in in the past years that's how amazing she is. Overall I also have to say that in order for her to be able to be an amazing manager, MOD Pizza needs and it DOES it amazingly by allowing her to have the tools to do her job, and make the customers experience amazing, without having to have any hassle. So truly thank you Sharon you are truly irreplaceable in my eyes, and I hope MOD Pizza and your district manager sees this, because you have one AMAZING manager that is ready to take over MOD Pizza!!! Decent pizza if you like minimal toppings and cracker thin crust. I prefer thin crusted pizza but this is very thin. It's not a traditional pizza but it's decent. There are tons of options for toppings and you can customize the pizza however you want it. There are also salads there which I like. You can get a pizza and salad lunch there for not too much money. The pizza comes out fast and is cooked in a brick oven. The staff is friendly and helpful. The dining area is new and clean. I can imagine it gets noisy in there with a crowd in there with the vaulted ceilings. The dining room is smallish and I was surprised by that. Seems like they could have went one more unit over for more room. After all it's another chain restaurant in a location that is not optimal for ingress or egress. That portion of 92nd Ave serves two busy shopping plazas and cross traffic is impossible most of the time. This will not be a regular stop for me. read more

Thank you for your excellent customer service! I have been a fan of Mod since they first opened this location. They have always been dependable for their quality. During covid-19 many restaurants are struggling so we have gotten used to having a mod night so we don't cook and we can help to keep places open. Tonight was one of those nights, it had been A DAY, so I ordered online as I always do, picked up very late didn't check the pizzas since they have always been correct but got home to realize they had the wrong sauce on the pizzas. When I called they offered to remake them and apologized for the mix-up explaining that there is a lot of new employees. When I arrived they greeted me with not just my pizzas remade but also included garlic bread and no name cakes! Where else on the planet can you get an incredible pizza with 15 toppings including roasted vegetables for $10? I've never gone to another pizza place after I came here the first time. Every time it gets better and better and all the people who work at the Stanwood location are total sweethearts. I used to love Sahara Pizza and I know that Jimmy's is considered the best but why would you pay two to three times more for something that's not even half as good. Tonight I picked up an order and they had made two of the same pizzas and gave me one free because they thought the crust was too crispy on one. Both were better than perfect. I have no clue how this place stays in business when they have such high quality ingredients and charge so little. I walk in and I'm greeted and they actually remember your name , build your pizza to what ever modifications and bake it for you and have it hot and ready for ya. We have been so excited for MOD to be in Stanwood since the news leaked out of Stanwood City Hall. Oh, the fall and holiday wait was long but the rewards are great. They are here, they are open, the service is great, the place is clean, the salads are fresh and they even offer a larger size shake than their regular size - just learned that today. WAHOO!!! So thankful for MOD. Stanwood needed a place open 7 days a week for great non-greasy pizza and great fresh salads, both made with whatever you want. I would never put brussel sprouts on my pizza but at MOD I add them and broccoli to my pizza. Their thin crust is great. Best milkshakes! I went here with a friend and told her it was my treat. As I had just received my pay it was not a problem. The inside was clean and well lighted. The staff was attentive and friendly. We ordered our pizzas with my friend going first as I was paying. I get up to the register and handed the man in charge that night my debit card he swiped it and it came back insufficient funds. First off I have been pleasantly surprised by my last 4 visits to these guys. 2 times with mom and dad and the hubby and 2 times with out of town guest. I have ordered the same pizza each and every time . My husband has ordered different ones and seems happy enough. We have never gone in and ordered pizzas to go until this evening. We have two pizzas and one salad. I dash to qfc to grab something after we pay the 30.00 before tip for the Toho order. We get home starving and I dig in to my pizza stopping dead in my tracks, realizing my pizza is nearly raw on the top but cooked on the bottom. My hubby offers to go back if I call and order a new one. I'm tired he's tired and I say no I'll just eat it. Unfortunately I nearly vomit as the dough is so raw and slimy. So now I'm just pissed and I agree with hubby to call. When some character named John picks up the phone for Mod pizza Stanwood I try to explain the issue, he either won't or can't pay attention to the simple statement " we just orders 2 pizzas and one is raw" I have to repeat this twice. Then he doesn't act like it's an issue. Ah well yes it is and if I give you the what I ordered .... John interrupts me with well if you bring it in we will remake it when you come in....really ????? you act and speak to me like I have inconvenienced YOU with complaining about something you all screwed up and then you want me to wait for it twice ? No no no . Your only response is " let me take care of this for you ! And what was on your pizza? We will have it ready for you . I can tell you right now this is a giant disappointment . I wanted to make you all my pizza place but shit why would I now? There is never a reason to treat a customer like that ever. I gave it a 2 because my pizza was good and the Cesar salad was well made for what I expect from these kind of corporate chains. It wasn't very busy on Sunday when we ordered at 5:00 pm and the staff paid attention to give us what what we wanted on our pizzas. My pizza crust was a little light when it came out but it was too late to put it back in. While we were sitting in one of the designated distanced booths, one of the staff began sweeping dirt off of a runner mat with a hard broom about three feet away from us bringing up dust in the room while we ate. She was close to where we sitting so I asked if she could please not do that where we were eating. She shrugged and stopped, no apology. When I went to refill my iced tea, all the beverages had been pulled. They said they were setting up for closing. I asked what time they closed and they told me at 10:00 pm. It was 5:30. I was directed to talk to the woman behind the counter to get more tea. She did and I said to someone else it seemed a little early to be closing. (I worked my way through college working in dozens of restaurants, sometimes 3 jobs at a time, so I'm familiar with the restaurant business on the highest to the most lowest fast food level). When she brought the tea out, she asked if there was a complaint. I told her I was concerned about the sweeping by our table and didn't understand why they were closing at 5:30. She gave me an "apology but" response in which there did not seem to be an apology at all. I heard a long frustrated story of how she had to get up to teach at 5:30 and was tired of getting out of there at 1:30 am. It went on so long that my food was getting cold so I just said it didn't make sense. Later, I realized that where an employee swept a rug had nothing to do with how soon they would get out of there and some remaining tea could have been left out or someone could have warned me the tea was going to be pulled. Further, I thought to myself did I ever, ever, ever give my personal sad story of my own stress to customers??? NO, NO, NO!!! This is the epitome of poor customer service and I had the impression she is the manager. I wasn't hostile just annoyed. I really felt this place was more focused on one another and their fun evening than the customers. Corporation food, corporation employees and lack of real commitment to the customer or interest in their dining experience. Doubtful I would return. read more

Came here today with my kids and ordered, with people dining in. They posted a sign after they took my order and my kids were sitting at a table. Then told us we couldn't dine in. Then told us we couldn't sit outside either. There were 6 tables dining in at this time. I have three small children. So they had to sit on the side walk in front and eat. We stopped in today for the first time and was very surprised at the friendliness of the crew right as we walked in the front door! It made us feel very welcome. The counter ladies were patient and helpful to show the great menu topping choices MOD pizza offers. You can get anything you want on an 11" for $9 and a mini for $7. Salads and many specialty pizzas are all the same $9 as well! The place was clean, airy and you can see the pizzas cooking while you wait. The pizza was delicious with very fresh ingredients and a superb thin crispy crust that kept the crunch until it was gone. Each pizza gives you about 4 good size pieces of deliciousness!
