I have been here a few times for lunch while working in the area. They have great customer service & the pizza is tasty! I can imagine during a busy dinner time rush that place gets very loud inside. They just opened so they were definitely overstaffed behind the counter. The staff was very welcoming and seemed eager to wait on us. Not sure why they use very minimal cheese, we had to ask for more to be added. My kid seemed to enjoy her pizza, but I'm knocking off two stars for the flies, the tables not being bused and the A/C being way to high for the winter time. We ate quickly because it was so cold in there. When there are very few patrons, they should have less people behind the counter and more on the up keep of the restaurant clearing tables. I'm sure they will smooth out the kinks, but I do like the rustic feel much better than Pieology. read more

I met friends at MOD Pizza for lunch today. The restaurant is nice and clean. You order at the counter. The price is set and you can choose all the topping you like. My Mod size pizza was really good and I took half of it home. Only $9. Their staff members are friendly and helpful. We all enjoyed our lunch. read more

Just went in for our families first experience. It was perfect. Pizza was amazing. Atmosphere was nice. The girl behind counter, Mckenna, was MORE than helpful and made us feel comfortable and was very attentive (being that we didn't know exactly what we wanted til after she made suggestions!) would drifted go back again because of that alone! read more

We stopped into MOD this afternoon. Great vibe. Love that you can add any toppings and sauces and it is all one price. The staff was very helpful and friendly. MOD PIZZA-Superfast!! Superfast is part of the name!!!! It should be Super Slow!!! It was ridiculous!!! Never even got to taste the food. It was Thursday @ 1-130,& was very busy,but the line was not moving. Each person was putting in individual orders. They need more employees. Way more. Should be much more efficient. Also, I don't know if it's the new craze,but there was a lady in there with 2 dogs....in a stroller!!! It was annoying and gross. And an employee was carrying her tray, so she could push her stroller. He should have been behind the counter,helping make pizzas. I never see a manager out front who might actually help when it's crowded. 20 to 30 minute wait in line on Thursday nite. This place is a joke. Put an online order in and arrived a few minutes after the pick up time. Pizzas hadnt even been put in the oven yet. Surprising since there were just as many employees as customers there. Tried to grab a pitcher of beer while we waited. Dude couldnt figure it out, he seemed super baked. Got a half pitcher and a come back shortly. It had been 15 minutes and they start calling out people who got there after us. I walk up to see where our pizzas are. I have been to this location few times as my friends and I craved for pizza- first of all the service and the management is absolutely ridicules. This is how it begins, I ordered online for pick up of 3 pizzas, I got there after 30 minutes of waiting I was informed by the front young African America it would be 5 minutes of wait- 30 minutes passed No pizza, 45 minutes I got my pizza but 1 only! I called on the the lady with tattoos I said Mam where is my other 2 pizzas, I ordered 3 she very unprofessionally said to me you got to wait it's still being made! REALLY!? So I assumed the oven had more pizza thought those are mine, after those came out it was handed to the person next to me- wow!!!!! REALLY- I was Informed my other 2 pizzas would take about 30 more minutes- Hollysheesha!!!!!!! At this point I lost my patience and asked for a manager, with much surprise the lady who spoke to me so rudely was the manager!!! REALLY?!!! I silently left the pizza that was handed to me which was cold as ice handed her the pizza back and said I will put this on Yelp! Great place to get a well made custom pizza! You pick all toppings (as many as you want with no extra charge!!!) and they cook it for you in less than 10-15 min. We ordered 3 custom made pizzas and were enjoying them in 15 min later. They have great beer on tap too! read more

MOD Pizza lovers- A special shout out to Shannon for her professionalism, positive attitude and for always ensuring we have a great visit! All of the staff here are upbeat, positive and seem to love what they do. Shannon and the team go out of their way to accommodate for our little one's allergies. What would a kid do without pizza?! We love that they offer vegan cheese! The pizza crust is crispy and the perfect amount of bread without it being overwhelming. VERY disappointed with this visit! I was trying this one because it's closer to my house and I loved the one in Concord. I had 2 people in front of me(a dad and son) that were trying to clear up some confusion with their order that the employees weren't understanding. The employee that helped me was very mono tone. Said "hello" and then took my order. Throughout me telling him what I'd like on my pizza, he didn't say anything. He just looked at me as he proceeded to each section. All of food counters were messy and hadn't been wiped down. The containers looked like everything was stuffed in there quickly. I asked him for a bbq finishing sauce and said "ok". He rung me up, he didn't ask me if I wanted a drink or anything. I had to ask him for a drink. Just told me my total, no "thank you" either. While I am walking to the drink bar, I notice the lobby covered in trash all over the floor-there was salad and crumbs everywhere. The soda machine was overflowing with ice-looks like it hadn't been cleaned in a while. I then looked for a seat which was hard to find because there was food on tables and the seats. I finally found a corner spot and took a sip of the mr pibb. It didn't taste anything like the soda. I watched the 4 male employees working at the counter-all fooling around, laughing. Not working or cleaning-there was PLENTY to do! I heard my name called out 5 minutes after ordering it and looked at it. There was no bbq finishing sauce on it so had to ask once again. The guy who helped me this time was more upbeat but I wish they would look on the paper where the items the customer wants is?!(unless the other guy didn't write it down) tasted the pizza and it was super messy-had to wipe my hands constantly(I ordered build your own with red sauce, mozzarella cheese, bacon, pepperoni, and the sauce). Visited the restrooms and one of the stalls looked like the toilet was clogged and had blood on it. That was my visit in a nutshell. Lots of improvement to be done here! read more

Mod is fantastic. Been there 20+ times since they opened, with almost perfect service every time, except for a couple days the line was a bit slow when a crowd enters. The food is usually great too I love how we get to create. But I would like to note tonights visit though, and Mod might want to monitor this one employee's attitude a bit. Tonight Sept 16th, 2018, my son and I walked in around 6pm, and heard a "Welcome to MOD" from a smiling lady. There was no line, and maybe 10 people seated eating already. We approached the place to order just one salad. The male employee walked to wash his hands, then casually came to us to ask what are you getting? I said we will get just one salad to go. I waited until he placed a tray and a stainless bowl down, I thought he was ready so I said lets start with arugula and spring mix. He quickly stopped me with "hold on, hold on" he then placed took a clear plastic cover onto a plastic bowl, which took about 1/2 a second, then he says "OK, what was it?" I then slowly and clearly repeated arugula and spring mix... Then through out the ordering of ingredients, the way he spoke to me was consistently as if I was an inconvenience in the way I was giving him the toppings to add. It all gets mixed into a mess anyhow, so who cares what order its in? Also, at the start I asked him, do you want the list I was given, or shall I read it to you? He said read it. So we continued with his attitude until I said cauliflower. He said we don't have that. I said that's fine, my wife told me its not always here as a choice anyhow. The employee then said "No, we never had that" I said "Well my wife has added it here in the past, but yes, sometimes you don't have it" He then corrects me "No, we ain't never had no cauliflower" So I said... "OKayyy, you never had cauliflower" ! He silently finished the mix and transferred it to a bowl, as I glanced at the woman behind me who heard the entire interaction from start to finish, and had a bewildered smile in support as if saying, what is with the attitude in this dude?... I paid and left as my son said outside..."Wow dad, he's not having a good day maybe" I said "Ya, he certainly did not want to accept that maybe they did sell cauliflower ever in the past! That was a weird interaction!" Anyhow, maybe remind this frowning faced dude that he's there not to make customers look stupid, but to help us along in ordering in a friendly fast way. Had lunch here around 11:30 and it was very good. They had to remake my pizza so the time to table was about 12 minutes, but it was hot and tasty. The crust is a cracker dough type crust (hence the "super fast") so just know that coming in. I would definitely try a salad here, as the ingredients seem very fresh! The pizza crust was burnt black on two out of four of the pizzas that we ordered. The person taking our order was borderline rude. The people making the pizzas were goofing around... until a more experienced person came and helped us. The cashier was fine. All around people seemed to not really care about the pizza or customer.
