Comfortable casual atmosphere that feels just right for a get together during the busy holiday season. And attentive service at bar. I enjoyed some pizza, red wine and apple pie cider. Pinky's has happy hour pricing 3-6PM, Tuesday thru Friday. The Josh Cabernet Sauvignon was fruity and smooth. And the pizza was better than the prior pizza place I reviewed 8 days ago. The crust was crispier and tastier. Also, the guy next to me shared his Schilling Excelsior Imperial Apple Pie Cider and that has to be the best cider I have tasted. It's a must try!

Such a great place to bring friends and family to surround them with pizza, sports, and beer!! Not to mention they sell their ranch by the JAR. I definitely grabbed one on my way out!

Super friendly place. First time here for a quick bite and dranks. We ordered the Super Veg pizza with cauliflower crust. I'm trying to stick to my keto side of life. Yes, I know, I needed more meat (my partner says no). Excellent pizza. I would do the cauliflower again. We had some wine and beer and pizza and out. This place has been around since 1963 in 2 different locations and I think 2 different owners so it's a bit of an instistitution in Dub C. Great beer selection. Nice place and we will be back.

We all have different pizza favorites; I have multiple, depending on my mood! Pinky's Pizza & Pub has been one of my favorites for a crispy, thin-crust pie forever. They also have wings, loaded tots, sandwiches, garlic bread, and salads. The folks who work there are awesome. They have many TVs and beers on tap and in a can, so it's a great spot to catch a game. In addition to the indoor seating, they have a great beer garden in the back of the restaurant. Happy hour is available from 3-6 PM M-F. As a bonus, they also have CREAM Concord ice cream sandwiches for dessert! TL:DR Walnut Creek institution. Locals love the place Service: order when you enter and find a spot. Busy place on the weekend so do t be surprised if the place is packed Food - solid pizza with crispy crust. Not doughy like others. Awesome beer selection. Hess Hop cloud in cans!! Blood orange from Calif Squeeze on draft is epic. Make it a point to check out a local landmark and beloved spot for Dub C peeps.

This was an interesting sort of bar. You walk in and order the food up front with cashiers and staff working the front who are under 21 so they can't answer any questions about the drinks, but they are knowledgeable when it comes to the food. The pizza we had was good, but not great, while the beer was excellent and the bartender was helpful. I didn't try any of the other menu items so for now, I'm giving this business a 4 star review.

Met a friend here for a late lunch and there were probably a dozen customers inside and a group of six or so outside (2pm'ish on a Friday). Staff was very friendly, CJ was very attentive and I took his recommendation on the Pastrami sandwich on Sourdough with all the fixings, it was delicious. Paired it with a rootbeer over crushed ice, THE BEST! The sandwich was huge, so I took the second half home. Although the menu states you get either a bag of chips or potato salad with it, I did not receive either. So be sure you ask for your side if you'd like it. Even with the missing item I'm still rating it as a 5-star based on the excellent customer service and friendly conversation with CJ, the yummy sandwich, and the crushed ice. If you're ever in the area I'd recommend stopping in if you'd like a sandwich or pizza to go with your beer or cocktail.

Ordered delivery of large pizza & garlic tots to go w our beers at rotator taproom- what a great combo! Call in your order ( better than getting ripped off w DoorDash fees) service was friendly & super efficient. She added napkins, plates, ranch, catsup, cheese & red pepper- all stuff I had totally forgot about. Our family loved the pizza ( half veg & half Randy's hot) & garlic tots- will definitely order again. Next time I'll order more tots because those were devoured immediately.

    Great, fun atmosphere!

You can't order online. You have to call them. The prices are also not listed on their website. Large pizza and a salad was $65.

The Fish & Chips are the best I've had in the city! Not greasy at all and simply delightful. They also have a solid selection of beers on tap; I enjoyed a Deschutes IPA and a Guinness. A lot of people were ordering Old Speckled Hen, which I want to try next time--I've never heard of that beer and it seems quite popular. The menu features all the hits of a British pub. I want to try their Shepherd's Pie next time, and my husband wants to get the bangers and mash. He was hoping they had a scotch egg, but that's the one item not on the menu. Oh, and some sticky toffee pudding would be awesome! The only downside was a large party of eight people with screaming children. We can't seem to escape that in restaurants lately--even in a pub. Ugh, it was terrible and sadly put a damper on an otherwise delightful experience. Chuck E. Cheese energy is not the vibe. Despite that, we will be back.

I'm currently living in San Francisco for six weeks while caring for my father, who is recovering from a double lung transplant at UCSF. It's been an emotionally exhausting time, and I was excited to find a neighborhood bar within walking distance where I could occasionally relax and decompress. I first discovered this bar after a trip to Trader Joe's. During that visit, the bartenders, especially Chris, and the rest of the staff were welcoming, friendly, attentive, and wonderful. Based on that experience, I was looking forward to returning. Unfortunately, my interactions with the owner have been the complete opposite. On my second visit, the owner repeatedly ignored me while I was trying to order. When he noticed my service dog, who was leashed, quietly sitting beside me, and causing absolutely no disruption, he loudly yelled across a crowded bar, "Get your dog out of here." I calmly explained that he is a service dog. The owner immediately rolled his eyes and demanded to know what service my dog provides. Because I did not feel comfortable disclosing personal medical information to a room full of strangers, I asked if I could privately show documentation instead. He became increasingly hostile, telling me that he "knew his rights" and that I "didn't know anything," while continuing to demand an explanation. Feeling embarrassed and cornered, I reluctantly answered his question. He rolled his eyes again and asked, "What do you want?" When I ordered a Corona, he responded by pointing his finger in my face and saying, "You mean you want a Corona PLEASE." He refused to serve me unless I repeated the order exactly as he demanded. I was shocked, humiliated, and left the bar in tears. Several patrons nearby apologized to me and expressed how uncomfortable they were witnessing the interaction. A few days later, I decided to give the bar a second chance and brought my partner with me. My partner was seated with my service dog while I walked to the bar to order. The owner immediately recognized me and once again said, "Get your dog out." I calmly reminded him that we had already had this conversation and that I had previously explained my dog's service role. He responded by asking whether I was providing a service to the dog or whether the dog was providing a service to me. After I again explained the situation, he asked what I wanted to order. I ordered two dirty gin martinis, and before I could even finish speaking, he began walking away. When he returned with the check, I asked him to keep the tab open. He again corrected me and said I needed to say, "Keep it open PLEASE." At that point, I asked why he seemed to treat me this way every time I came in. His response was, "Piss off. Finish your martini and you're never allowed back here again. Get out." Once again, I left in tears. Once again, nearby patrons appeared shocked by the way I was being treated. I've worked in professional environments my entire career and strive to treat everyone with kindness, patience, and respect. I was never rude, disruptive, or confrontational. I simply wanted to enjoy a drink at a neighborhood bar while accompanied by my service dog. The bartenders and staff were wonderful. My experience with the owner, however, was one of the most humiliating and hostile customer service experiences I have ever had.

From the very beginning, the customer service was lacking. Before finalizing my event, I visited the venue in person to ask questions and get a better understanding of the space. The Hispanic male employee I interacted with was unfriendly, unapproachable, and unable or unwilling to answer even basic questions, repeatedly telling me to contact sales. While I understand that sales handles bookings, I expected someone who works at the venue to be able to provide some level of assistance or information. Unfortunately, his attitude remained the same during the event. Several things that had been requested were not set up as discussed, and the overall atmosphere felt unwelcoming. What upset me most was that some of my guests arrived carrying water bottles, and this employee openly told me, in front of my guests, that he would kick us out if he sees outside drinks again. I found this incredibly embarrassing, unprofessional, and completely inappropriate. The experience became so uncomfortable that many of my guests left early. For what was supposed to be a special occasion, the service and treatment we received fell far below expectations. Considering the amount spent, I expected professionalism, hospitality, and a welcoming environment. Unfortunately, we received the opposite. I would not host another event here, nor would I recommend this venue to others looking for a place to celebrate an important occasion.

I sat at the bar and was served by the owner of the Pub, who is from the UK. I loved chatting with him about the pub and all the fun things that go on there. I happened to come in on Trivia Night, which gets a decent crowd! For dinner, I ordered the Braised Beef Guinness pie and a Guinness to go with it. The pie comes out steaming hot with a nice layer of browned mashed potatoes on top. There is real crust to this kind of pie. Underneath the mashed potatoes is more like beef stew. Large chunks of tender beef and vegetables are sitting in a delicious Guinness stew. On the side, a fresh salad to go with it. For $24 the portion you get is perfect and along with a good pint of beer this is the way to go. I will definitely be back to try some of their other food!

My wife and I had just visited Abbey Tavern this past weekend, a premier Scottish pub in the City, and we expected a similar atmosphere. However, the moment we showed up, we were met with great disappointment. The Goose & Fern is honestly a terrible place to watch a sports match: there was only a single TV mounted in the back corner of the restaurant, the TV wasn't particularly large, and the speakers had been turned completely off. What a bust. Although the food was decent, especially the Shepherd's pie -- which came piping hot in a small cast iron skillet, the service was downright dreadful and almost non-existent. We never received waters (or were even asked if we wanted beverages), our table wasn't given enough silverware, we were never checked on during the meal, and we were waiting around for 30 minutes twiddling our thumbs before somebody from our party finally went up to try to pay for the check. In hindsight, a tip was not warranted for the lack of service. Overall, Yelp grossly misled me on The Goose & Fern. This is not a spot I would stop by again to watch a sporting match. If you're in this part of Santa Rosa, do yourself a favor and head over to Dave and Busters down the street where they have a bunch of massive screens, tons of beer options, and service that will far surpass what you're getting here.

One of the things that happened when I visited this bar was I asked for a simple lemonade. The reason was because I had a soccer game the next day and I didn't want to drink alcohol and I wanted to get some electrolytes in me. It would have been very simple for the bartender to just say, "I'm sorry we don't serve lemonade." Instead what he did is say I worked here 20 years and he never served lemonade and then kept scoffing at me. He kept saying this three times, walking back and forth, up until the point the patron next to me even said, "Don't worry about him." After that without even me talking to him, he said, "Who orders lemonade at an Irish pub?" Then without me saying anything, he said, "No one orders lemonade at an Irish pub." I was honestly just trying to get a drink and he made me feel very dumb. Overall if a patron asks you for a drink, it's very easy just to say, "I'm sorry we can't do that," but he kept making me feel like an idiot. I was also surprised they did not serve lemonade; that's a very simple request. He didn't offer any alternatives except for 7-Up, which I didn't really want but paid for anyway. I ended up not drinking it even after I paid for it and leaving the bar. I guess the bartender got what he wanted. He gave me a drink that was other than lemonade; he made me pay for it and I just left the bar unhappy. I would highly recommend against visiting this establishment, especially with the grumpy bartender. He is an older white Irish guy. I understand they might have your own customers at the bar but I think it costs nothing to treat patrons with respect and not tell them that they're stupid for asking for a drink.
