I stood there patiently for 10 minutes while they helped customers they were engaged with. One of the two people made eye contact with me, no greeting. After another 5 minutes the person who made eye contact called the next person in their line. I finally had to walk over and cut in on their conversation to find I needed to get in the regular line because their online pickup like was not active, nothing at the register to let me know. After another 10 minutes, I was helped, they pulled my parts from the "ORDER PICKUP" area. O' Reilly says they are "Professional Parts People" apparently that does not include Customer Service.

I saw all the great reviews and I was referred here by a trusted friend when my car started having oil in the coolant reservoir. Tim told me his next availability was 2 weeks away so I waited and towed my car in the night before my appointment. I never received a call about my car so I called and checked in 2 days later and he tells me he didnt look at my car yet because he didnt write down my info and forgot about my appointment. He calls me later to tell me that theres definitely a bad headgasket and it was too expensive to make sense to repair and my car was basically toast. I paid around $300 and took my car home. I drove on the car a good 300 miles and it ran smoothly so I decided to get a second opinion. I looked up subaru specialty and took it to ackermans in berkeley and without even looking at it yet, he immediately said " you have a bad pcv valve" and it's a common issue because there wasn't evidence of the coolant in the oil reservoir so the leak was one directional. He replaced the valve for $280 and its been a year and half- it fixed the problem! I didnt want to write a bad review but after all this time Im so grateful I found Bruce at ackermans so if youre a subaru owner looking for help, reconsider this place. He claimed work will take more than a day. Upon drop off he did not warn me that i would need to pick up by 5 pm and return rental at that time also. He called me at 3:40 pm and i called him back once i could at 4 pm and he pretty much raised his voice at me to return the car asap as another client is waiting for it first thing in the morning. I never could find an independent Auto Repair shop which I felt comfortable with. But because of the escalating repair costs at the Dealership, I researched Precision Auto Repair and its knowledge specifically with Honda and Acura Vehicles on Yelp. I spoke to Keven over the phone, and after conferring my concerns and the necessity for a number of issues to bring my vehicle up to service, Keven stated he would write up and estimate and send it via email. Later on in the day, I received a detailed report via email of all the issues that needed to be addressed. These coincided with most of the issues on my list with a few added. Pictures and estimated costs were included with this report. After going over the repairs with Kevin, I brought in my vehicle the next day. After several days, all the work was completed, and the price was very reasonable.
