If you are looking for gluten free options you've come to the right place. Service is very friendly and knowledgeable. We got the GF glazed donut that they put in a bag instead of a box and the icing stuck all over the bag instead of the donut. The donut was pretty dry inside as well. We also got the everything GF bagel which was better than the donut. I don't think this will be a place I frequent too often as the gluten free is not really my vibe.

Ordered online and it was an easy process. Store was cute, a little small but had some seating! Didn't realize they had that much bakery stuff but it all looked so good. I got a bagel sandwich with eggs avocado arugula and sun dried tomato. Very very good, bagels were not the BEST but the sandwich was great. Would come here again to try pastries.

Great spot for gluten-free bagels and pastries! They have a large selection of bagels and sweet treats, and they even have some homemade cream cheeses. I also tried their iced coffee, I got the limited edition Tiramisu latte and it was soo delicious. It was a bit pricy though, I think I spent almost $9 on just a regular sized coffee. Overall a cute spot, definitely check it out if you're looking for a gluten-free bagel place!

Amazing place! My wife is celiac so I always look for a place to get her something that we can share on a Sunday. Some places have a few items here and there, but this store is completely gluten free! Cookies, bagels, cakes and bread! I got a couple bagels, a donut, a slice of Baka bread and a brioche loaf. A bit pricier than normal bakery, but I've cooked gluten free pastries at home. The ingredients aren't cheap! My wife loved it!! Definitely will be back!

I wanted to love it. Do not. These bagels are incredibly dense. And hard. Not to my liking. I realize some people like them big and extra firm. For bagels I prefer a more airy boil/bake, softer texture, less dense (and smaller is fine). The bagel softened up a little bit when I threw it in the oven at home. It's a good looking shop and the staff were lovely.

4.5 bit rounding up to 5! Obviously, this is a GF fever dream come true. Pop tarts, bagels, breads, donuts, MORE BREADS! Per usual, I blacked out and ordered a challah, focaccia, parm roll, chocolate rolly thing, Jerusalem Egg sando, spicy feta open face sando, oat milk latte, and their version of a PSL (which was too sweet for me but my partner loved). I waanntt to call 911 to report a crime against me by not having a croissant or pain au chocolat, but I'll hold the phone bc everything was so yummy! The Jerusalem sando was so fresh and delicious on a brioche roll. As I'm writing, I'm lamenting my poor decision to not get a pop tart, but there's always next time. Eat in the alley/breezeway for a tiny escape off the bustlin street. Clean bathroom and pleasant (not warm) customer service.

Everything GLUTEN FREE! it's a Celiac-er dreams come true! We can wake up and experience what everyday ordinary people get to experience on a daily bases! My wife works close to them so it's easy enough for her to pop in and grab extras for the week. Everything is sooooo good! You gotta come Down and check it out !

    8/23/24 No mention whatsoever that's it's a vegan & gluten free bakery!

Date of visit: 8/23/24 At the time when I wrote this, the store had 4.5 stars from 74 reviewers. Originally I wanted to give this store 2 stars (2 because the server was nice, 1 actually for the taste), but then I read the background of the company and finding out that it's a vegan and gluten free bread company that I actually have no business of visiting as I'm not vegan and I'm not gluten shy! Yelp should've put a better description so people like me won't be spending $37 for breads and bagels that are not their preferred taste! Anyways, I bought: 1 butter Croissant: very oily, hard and inside is not airy 3 bagel: hard almost stale-feeling 1 grainless carrot muffin: soft & moist, it has very weird taste. I think it's cardamom 1 cinnamon bun babka slice: stale in the touch & taste not great 1 chocolate babka slice: stale in the touch & taste a bit weird, but not sure what I don't like any of them and for sure won't be coming back.

A cute little gluten free bakery and bagel place! I've been craving bagels and good gf bagels and treats are hard to find. Street parking is a bit hard to find but I got lucky with a spot under a tree in the residential area just half a block away. I got the zaatar egg salad sandwich on a superseed bagel. It was good! The egg salad was really creamy and light and paired well with the tomato and lettuce. I added some tapatio and it was delicious! The bagel was just okay. Because it was so dense and the egg salad was so light, every bite ended up squeezing the egg salad right out of the sandwich. I also got the flourless carrot cake (gf and dairy free!) and it was sooo delicious! So moist, fluffy, and yet with the perfect crumb - I would never have been able to tell it was flourless or gluten free. There aren't a lot of seats available so it's more of a grab and go spot.

I have been following them on social media for quite some time and wondering when I could check them out. Both of their locations are not convenient however I thought it would be easier to park at this location. Street parking during the weekday was easily found. The shop is easy to miss. My cousin walked right past it but that was easily rectified. I loved seeing all the bread and goodies. Grateful they had Gluten Free items with dairy, because so many places have gluten free and dairy free. I like vegan but I'm not vegan. We shared lunch. They had 2 chairs inside which I wish there was a little more seating but I'll get over it. We split the Quiche which we both agreed was our favorite and the open faced bagel sandwich with egg, avocado and feta. I think it was feta. Delicious! Now for the items I brought home. The plain flaky croissant wasn't quite as light as a regular one but the flavor was spot on. I would buy that again. The chocolate rugalech that we sampled was great so I bought the lemon poppyseed. I'll stick with chocolate. I bought chocolate chip cookies. They were okay- other items like the Chocolate Babka are a better buy. Planning on another visit because from Pasadena it's a trek, but so worth it. Oh, and the woman who helped us was awesome. Service was great. Her recommendations were appreciated.

The cinnamon roll (warmed up) was legit.
    Krissy P.

The brioche donut was dynamite. I also had an excellent latte. At home, I warmed up the cinnamon roll and was thrilled by how good it was. The shop is welcoming, well-organized, and comfortable. I was promptly greeted and the staff were very friendly. Definitely, a must stop for the gluten free diner.

What happens when French Toast and a bagel get married?…read more They move to Mar Vista, have a beautiful carb-filled ceremony, and produce an offspring known as the French Toast Bagel at New York Bagel Deli. I recently stopped by New York Bagel Deli (NYBD) to meet this culinary love child for myself. The French Toast Bagel manages to be both chewy and crunchy, no small feat in the competitive world of breakfast carbohydrates. Dense and satisfying, it delivers genuine French toast flavor with plenty of cinnamon in every bite. I'll admit that sweet bagels are not usually my jam. I generally lean toward savory bagels topped with cream cheese, lox, eggs, or whatever else can be piled on top without requiring a fork. But the French Toast Bagel challenged my long-held beliefs. Served with salted butter and just a tiny dip of maple syrup, it struck a balance that made me reconsider my position in the Great Sweet vs. Savory Bagel Debate. The salty butter tempered the sweetness perfectly, and the maple syrup added just enough breakfast nostalgia without pushing it into dessert territory. In other words, I liked it. A lot. I would definitely recommend it. Since one pastry experiment is never enough, I also tried the chocolate chip rugelach and the raisin rugelach. If you've never had rugelach, it's a traditional Jewish pastry made from a rich, buttery dough rolled around sweet fillings and baked into tender crescents. Think of it as the pastry equivalent of comfort food Before heading out, I ordered three bagels to go from NYBD's extensive bagel menu: onion, cheese, and everything. Unfortunately, the everything bagel apparently had other plans. Somewhere between the counter and my bag, it was replaced by a sesame bagel. Fortunately, I like sesame, so no emergency meeting was required. I'll just have to return another day and finally meet the elusive everything bagel. The cream cheese selection alone is enough to keep indecisive customers occupied for several minutes. Choices include Plain, Lox, Tofu, Tijuana Hot, Garlic, Scallion, and Veggie. Breakfast sandwiches include eggs served on a bagel with your choice of ham, bacon, sausage, pastrami, roast beef, or turkey. Lunch offerings cover deli classics such as smoked salmon, deli meats, tuna salad, chicken salad, and whitefish. There are also hearty specialty sandwiches including a Reuben, The Beast Roast Beef, and several other overstuffed creations. Sandwiches come with chips or a side salad and, naturally, a pickle slice. Peerless coffee is brewed throughout the day, and the beverage menu also includes lattes, iced blended drinks, tea, and hot chocolate. There are a few tables where you can eat on the outdoor patio, but during my visit I noticed that most customers were grabbing orders to go. Apparently when great bagels call, people answer quickly.

I have been obsessed with bagels with salmon roe after having it in Santa Barbara so I had to try their version with their everything bagel. I enjoyed the chew of the bagel and they have a nice ratio of cream cheese/roe. The onions added a nice contrast of flavors with the dill and made it so it wasn't too savory. I'd get it again! The sandwich was flavorful but the meatball fell a part a bit so less meatball sandwich but the meat was tender and blended well with the sauce. Basically you order at the counter and being that I was there for breakfast I was surprised to see a lot of breakfast options like pancakes, but I especially liked how most of the dishes included a bagel with it, which is what I was there for initially. I was able to find free parking in their tiny lot in the back, otherwise it will be street parking. It was quite busy when I arrived, but our food came out surprisingly fast after ordering it, and the staff was very friendly. Inside is quite large, there are many different size tables, no booths or counter seating, it is all regular sized tables. I did not see an outdoor eating area when I was there, everything was inside. For my breakfast, I chose an omelette, and with that it came with a bagel, so I decided to go with a cheddar jalapeño and really liked it. It was packed with jalapeños, and you can tell it was made that morning. The omelette was also a good sized portion and had great flavor. It's not a full service restaurant in that they don't have waiters tending to you, however, they will bring the food out to your table, and the staff that I encountered was very friendly and helpful. I would suggest to anyone and plan to be back again very soon.
