Picked up an order through InKind and it was ready when I arrived and there was no hassle ordering through the app or paying. I got the pressed Reuben on a jalapeño cheese bagel and a few other bagels for home. The Reuben tasted good, but for $19 I would have liked a little more pastrami. The pastrami also didn't have as much flavor/salt as I wanted. I could taste the jalapeños/cheese on top of the bagel, but I don't think there was anything inside the actual dough. The blueberry bagel looked like it would have a lot of blueberry flavor but didn't. The strawberry cream cheese was good and sweet. The chocolate chip bagel didn't have a ton of chocolate chips so there are definitely bites of plain bagel. The cinnamon raisin has a good flavor but once again I would love more raisins. Overall a little pricey for what you get and may fall under the "bougie hyped" category of places. The texture of the bagels was good in my opinion though. read more

Decided to stop by for bagels since I was coming out of a doctor's appointment next door! This place is aesthetically pleasing and the design with the logo, blue accents, and gingham paper is wonderful to look at, but I'm afraid I can't say the same about the taste of the bagels. I ordered the nova lox bagel and my boyfriend got the bacon, egg, and cheese bagel. Both were just okay--for the price you pay (~$15-16), I was expecting more flavor or something a little special to justify the price. The bagel itself was chewy and tasted kind of stale. Regarding the bacon bagel, my bf thought the bacon was extremely salty and for some reason was more chewy versus crunchy. Safe to say this was not our favorite... We got there earlier so metered street parking was available, but it got busier after 9am so arrive early for parking if you can. Great place for vibes and pictures as there is outdoor seating next to the sidewalk and a cute little patio with plants. Standard service. read more

Talk about ba-GOALS! As someone who's part of the LA breakfast bagel fanatic club, I'll have to be adding @popsbagelsla to my list of all-time favorites! This local bagel shop specializes in fresh, housemade bagels that feature a soft, fluffy inside with a perfectly crispy exterior and just the right amount of chewiness. I love how these bagels can enjoyed by themselves, with their signature cream cheese, or as an egg sandwich, pressed sandwich, or classic breakfast item. Both their savory and sweet options were absolutely standout, and I can't wait to be back again to try more off their menu! My only gripe (at least with the Brentwood location) is that parking can be difficult (street parking or valet), although that's a general Brentwood issue and not specific to this shop; and that orders (even for pre-ordered pickup/delivery) aren't fulfilled in a timely manner. I pre-ordered the day before and still waited 30 minutes past my pickup time, and there were other customers who had waited an hour for theirs. I do understand that this location is insanely busy, but perhaps a more organized ordering system + more staffing can improve order fulfillment and relieve stress from their employees. The everything bagel with plain cream cheese hit the spot. The only thing was the bagel had just a little too much salt for me, but I would order it again. The store was closing, and the staff was trying to get out of there but the young lady who was helping me answered all of my questions and was pleasant. It's a cute little bagel shop with outdoor sidewalk seating in front of the store and on the side. This is a pretty good bagel stop but I just have to say right off the bat the drinks are not worth your time -- way overpriced and not as good as so many other places within just a couple feet of this place. I had a cinnamon raisin bagel with plain cream cheese and the bagel had an appropriate amount of cream cheese. It came out quickly and there were some places to sit outside. Overall, not the best bagel I've had but pretty solid. Drinks are average but also average $8 so I'd recommend a skip. read more

Parking was difficult to find and many of the lots are valet-only :::cringe:::, so had to park several blocks away Solid variety of classic flavors (plain, sesame, etc) and some unique. Bagels themselves tasted meh; also, they were shaped more like oversized rolls than bagels, if that makes sense. Staff were welcoming, super friendly and helpful. I had heard about Pop's a while back, and even saw photos of items I'd like to try, but timing never worked out until recently. Going on a Saturday around 12:30, I figured I'd be okay but there was still a decent amount of people around, and sadly not a lot of stock. I did remember seeing some pictures of a bagel with cream cheese, avocado and a topping of glorious, crispy bacon. Since they were out of plain, I did this with a sesame seed bagel and this was amazing. I also gave in and bought a sesame with butter since that is my default. My only downfall is I couldn't enjoy this until an hour or so later after purchasing, but it was STILL delicious. Service was fine, and this took about five minutes for the bacon option. Although I want to kick myself for paying $12 for essentially 'a bagel with topping', it was so much more than that. I cannot wait to be back! read more

Visited two days in a row and got the same thing, the Reuben bagel sando. The staff was pleasant and Omar was outgoing in making me feel welcome both times, serving up a refreshing dialogue. Day 1: ordered it NOT Scooped - was absolutely thrilled - the sauce pairing is a spicy little aioli that hits. Day 2: Ordered regular, scooped, really amazing. Cream cheese was smooth, and the sausage patty was savory and meaty. Bagel was extremely thick and had a nice cushion bounce to it. Based. can easily be portioned out into two servings. I'm a fan of Pop's Bagels in Brentwood. It offers a nice and simple bagel menu, letting it's bagels and ingredients do the talking. It's a simple storefront off of San Vicente Blvd, right by Montana. Service is prompt, but friendly...always willing to answer any questions that you might have. There is some vibe to this place, but really it's a small storefront with some standing counter space or those outdoor seating benches that became so popular post pandemic. Like others have said, parking can be an issue so this would be considered more of a neighborhood type of joint, unless you're in the area for a specific reason. It's good and bad as it limits its patrons, but also keeps it from expanding further out of the area. Their nova lox on an everything bagel was fantastic. Great layered flavors, but can be a little messy. My suggestion, get your bagel and go pick up a juice right down the street and sit on the sidewalk and enjoy your morning. read more
