Management was friendly and understood business. For years, I was able to pre-pay storage for the year, and in exchange get one month free discount, a deal for both of us. but corporate took that away. Prices have been going up 10% year, much higher than inflation! My monthly price went from $364 in August 2024 to $ 393 in Sept 2024, a 10% increase. Double inflation. I was just informed by phone yesterday from a ZStorage PRO manager my price will be going to $614 in the coming January 2026! THAT IS OVER 50% INCREASE IN RENT!!!! This is crazy! I began to send messages through yelp, via text, then finally called leaving multiple voicemails. I have not received a response after 3 days contacting them. On my first call, the phone rang like normal. After that every time I called it went straight to voicemail, I believe they blocked my number. If you changed your mind or something came up and you can no longer do a job, just let your customer know. Don't leave them in the dark and block their number.

The team worked efficiently and packed the truck expertly--everything was secure, and nothing was broken or damaged, which really speaks to their care and experience. Toward the end of the move things did slow down a bit, but we were also coming up on nearly seven straight hours of work, so that was completely understandable. By the end, most of the large furniture items were placed inside the house as requested, and the majority of the boxes were left neatly in the garage, which will make unpacking fairly manageable. Overall, great service, strong work ethic, and a crew that clearly knows what they're doing. I would absolutely recommend Peninsula Pack and Move, especially for more complex moves.

I would NOT recommend this company! I was quoted $175 hourly for a 28' truck and 3 guys and a…read moreminimum of two hours. An additional $50 was disclosed after they showed up. The workers were not efficient with packing the truck, layering things, one layer deep and then taking an unpacked load. This happened not once but twice, stretching out the hourly rate they were making. They did not hook up my washer and dryer as I was told they would and they damaged two pieces of furniture without disclosing they had. We ended up having to rent a U-Haul truck for two more days to finish what they weren't able to finish and this was after we had already packed a PODS container to the max in our driveway. So the stuff they were responsible for moving was mainly furniture. This is not the first time I have moved a moving company in Monterey County and so I had an idea of approximate cost and time. This company milked the clock, costing me more than twice what the move cost the previous time. At one point while moving some furniture at my old place, one of the movers voiced that he had stolen a piece of candy from me. I didn't think it was any big deal and laughed it off, but it made me wonder why he would do that and if he had done it before. When I attempted to contact the owner, David, I left a message, letting him know that I had issues and wanted to talk to him and rather than calling me back, he text me to tell me that he was really busy and that he was able to text. I would assume that being a local company wanting to make a great name, he would've contacted me back to figure out what happened and how he could make things better. The lack of upfront communication carelessness, and the fact that they took advantage of the situation is unacceptable. I expected better. If I could leave zero stars, I would. The service provided on June 27, was not $2500 worth. Do NOT book this company.
