The Mustang Nacho's were very good, a little light on the cheese. My house salad was brown. I would have told the manager about it IF he ever came to our table. He was much more concerned about watching the televisions around the restaurant (apparently a good basketball game was on). I maybe could have even excused his absence if the place was busy, but considering we were one of three tables, he was hardly busy. Our server ran around like he was SUPER busy too - he asked how the food was, but left the table before we could even respond. He did come back a few minutes later to clear the plates from the table THAT WE WERE STILL EATING FROM! I guess he figured we were done. Again, would have said something but he did the Grab and Dash. I've been here a number of times, my favorite has always been the philly cheesesteak, joes, with the red pepper sauce. Nice selection of potato sides and they had a cheap burger special on Mondays over the summer. We went there recently with another couple for the crab leg special on a Thursday night and we were BLOWN AWAY by how fresh and perfectly cooked the crab legs were. Well done. read more

My dad and myself went to Moe's because we wanted to treat ourselves to something new. He ordered a bacon cheese burger and I ordered the buffalo wrap we both got the french fries. We both agree that it was really good food, worth the money (reasonably priced), and the service was good. Stopped in for lunch with a coworker on a Monday. Moe's has a townie bar atmosphere with friendly service. Menu is typical American fare. The specials were atypical of the typical local sports bar - stuffed halibut, kale chicken salad, and creme brule. I went more traditional and ordered a burger and onion rings. The rings were very average. The burger was fresh, loaded, and delicious - it definitely hit the spot. The fries that came with the burger had a hint of garlic and we're very tasty. My wife and I live in Eagan. Last Saturday we met some friends from Anoka to play tennis at Irondale High School. Afterward, we were not sure where to eat. I suggested that we have lunch at Donatelli's Supper Club (I had not been on old Highway 10 in a few years). We went to where Donatelli's had been and found Moe's. There were not many cars in the lot (maybe two) besides ours. Therefore, I was a little apprehensive going in and eating. To my delight, the food and service were outstanding. Prices were reasonable. Moe's has went downhill over the last 2 years. The food used to be amazing but now its barely edible. The burgers no longer have flavor, the food is incredibly greasy - even the DRESSINGS somehow have taken a turn for the worst. My wife and I went for my birthday using my birthday coupon and the waitress was extremely disinterested in being there. We sat on the patio and it was a hot day - she came ONCE to check on us and even then I had to ask for my water to be refilled. She also never even tried to upsell us and brought our check without even offering desert. The food also took over 45 minutes to come out even though the place was really quiet. The food is amazing always! But the service here has gone from ok to awful! I have been coming here for years and at least once a week. I sat for 15 min b4 I got up and had to get up and tell someone to wait on my son and I. The manager came out and told me " it's hard when we have a shift change." Then my server still Jodi still didn't make to my table for another 10 min. After I got my food she never checked back until I needed boxes. The staff was excellent. They were friendly, knowledgeable and responsive without being interruptive of the meal. The beer can chicken, the homemade Mac n cheese and the desserts (and my 10 yr old son says especially the cheesecake) were all excellent bargains. This is a great family owned restaurant! Even before I talk about the many favorites I have on the menu, the owner is a great guy he donates frequently to the schools in the area and caters many of their events. They are well known for their Mayslacks roast beef! An alternative I absolutely love is their cheese steak sandwich, oh man is it good! Another quality item is their mustang nachos! It is a big platter to share of chips with bbq pulled chicken with cheese! Honestly whatever you get on the menu make sure you try their red pepper dip! I have been going to Moe's with my wife since they opened as Moe's. Formerly Jakes I think. For the money the food is great. The burgers, walleye and pasta are excellent as is Mayslack's sandwich. Moe's seems like the tale of two restaurants. I can not decide if this place is a dive bar, or a fancy restaurant. Based on the layout, I don't think the owner knows either. The bar area is large, has several table and high tops for dinning, several TVs for sports watching and free popcorn. The decor of the bar is filled with bar signs and memorabilia. While the dinning room looks more like formal seating with a fireplace. The first time we came we sat in the bar area as it was filled with more people and had a better atmosphere. The dinning room seemed to cater to an older guest and seemed for a lack of a better word dull. The menu is just as disjointed as the space, serving both bar staples like a wide range of burgers and wings, but then also Filet Mignon. The burgers and sandwiches here are solid. We also stopped in for all you can eat Crab Night- which is a fun treat every once and a while. The Crab was fresh, and all the additional sides made it worth the money. We are locals of the area and will keep going back, but will stick to the bar side, as it seems to be the real heart of the restaurant. read more

The service was lacking in friendliness.... Our server was a bit snotty at times... The menu had the hopes of a good dinning experience, however failed to deliver... The menu made me wonder if the management had watched too many Kitchen Nightmares and were trying to pull off amazing dishes that are out of their kitchen staff's realm... The stuffed bacon bleu buger was very overdone on the outside leaving the center the same, the bleu cheese was almost chemical tasting.... The beef in the stroganoff was very much like incredibly dry jerky nuggets... I have had better beef in Denty Moore stew... Moe's does not have a great selection of beers... When I attempted to order a Blue Moon (common), the server snapped at me they don't have Blue Moon and instructed me to look at the menu rather than offering any suggestions... I have visited the bar many times and enjoyed the atmosphere, too bad the dinning experience was not the same... I will only return to drink domestic beer with friends and not eat the sub par food.... Sad time... read more

Management has changed over a couple times, I believe. I was hopeful that it would result in an improvement in quality of food. Unfortunately, it did not. My fiancé and I have given this place over 5 chances because it is the closest bar/restaurant to our house. Disappointed every time and have now sworn we will only go there for drinks, not food. One time my daughter's noodles had some really gross tan colored slime stuff in them. They got her new noodles but did absolutely nothing beyond that and didn't even act like it was a big deal my child was ingesting that crap. Another time my fiancé's fries taste like broccoli. Even the server tried one and was like "ew". She got him onion rings instead and those had a broccoli flavor as well. My guess is broccoli had fallen into the fryer at some point flavoring the oil. Only thing I never am disappointed with is their house salad. If I could get a huge bowl size of that, I'd go eat dinner there. read more

The steakadillo appetizer was great! However, my husband's Reuben was so-so and the walleye tacos I ordered were tasteless. The shell was so wimpy that it fell apart even before taking it out of the holder. I had to dump out the ingredients and eat them with a fork. Certainly, not worth the money. Maybe other dinner choices are much better. We just were not impressed with our choices. We stopped in to Moe's after a movie. After walking though a crowd of smokers to get in the door, we had to walk down a hall that was crowded with bar overflow. When we finally made it to the dining room, there were about 6-7 tables occupied. We were seated in a timely manner. After watching 3 staff, another server, a server from the kitchen and what appeared to be the GM walk around and watch the hockey game for about 4 minutes while I am waiting to be greeted to be able to order drinks, we cut our losses early and left right away. Unfortunately this is similar to what we experience before(about a year ago) when the GM comp'd us a round of drinks because the waiting was ridiculously long. read more
