It's quite pricey with small portions, and sadly the delicious-looking Brisket from afar was carved into what seemed like 75% fat-pieces. Ordered turkey sandwich with baked beans. The meat should have been the star of the show but wasn't great. It had an overwhelming cumin flavor which is not what I expected, and didn't work well with the other flavors. I did expect some smokiness which wasn't there at all. It was also very dry. Added sauce which didn't help much. Just bad overall. Baked beans were actually not terrible, just not a ton of flavor there. More like ranch style canned beans with maybe a tiny bit of bbq sauce added in. Overall not great, but way less than expected for the price. read more

Amazing spot! We are visiting and just tried this place on a whim and I'm glad we did. The brisket is phenomenal and is good enough to not even need sauce. But their barbecue sauces are also delicious and provide a good variety to the meal. As far as sides, we weren't as hot on the baked beans. They were super heavy and didn't have a ton of flavor. Would have loved to see some onion or bacon or something in them, and maybe thinned out a bit. But the cucumber salad was surprisingly super good! A nice lighter side to go with the heavier meal. The service staff was super friendly and helpful and they have a great area to sit in. Would highly recommend! read more

Stopped by the Hub and ate dinner and watched an NFL game. Had the pork nachos and they were huge! Enough for 2 for a meal. Chips were thin how I like them and the toppings were plentiful. We got pork and it was nice and tender. The white queso was good and the guac tasted like they had made it fresh. They have multiple bbq sauces but there OG one is by far the best. Just a solid bbq sauce. We also tried a side of Mac and cheese and it was a little dry and not very creamy at all. read more

Was here last year and it was amazing. Brought the family back this year to eat the brisket nachos. This year there was barely any brisket on the nachos, extremely disappointing. Asked the workers about the amount of meat on the nachos (suppose to be piled high) and they said they put the right amount of meat on our nachos. My son and I walked away and they laughed at us! My son called them out about laughing at us. My son walked by a few minutes later to get food from another place and they stared him down. Really bad employee behavior. I would not be writing this review if they didn't laugh at us or stare my son down. read more

Bbq wasn't that great, not a smoker in sight- assuming this is warmed up/commercial bbq. I got the pulled pork nachos which the pulled pork tasted reheated and mushy, the nachos had far too much queso that made the thin chips runny. The seating is good, plenty of seating and surrounding takeaway restaurants that a group could come here and get a variety of different things. I ate here for dinner on July 22, 2024. I have been experiencing the WORST food poisoning I've ever had in my life. Local Smoke's brisket baked potato was the only thing I ate all day (so, I know it was this establishment) and the symptoms started in the middle of the night after eating here for dinner. After coming back to get the nachos we placed our order, we're given the "buzzer", and sat down. I quickly noticed that it does not have a red light or any type of indicator that it was charged. When I approach the lady, she said it was fine.... For an hour of waiting for nachos, I approached again and spoke to the gentleman with dreadlocks. He was rude and asked me multiple times, but the issue as to which I replied I believe our Beiser does not have any battery life and it's been an hour.... He made the nachos in about 15 seconds right in front of me and they were maybe a 1/3 the size of everyone else who ordered. I tipped the maximum amount and get treated like shit. Hire better "help". I hope not, but looks like This gentlemen is going to learn the hard way how things work. Do better. Terrible customer service. Rude, entitled and crappy food. Enjoy at your own risk!! read more

Good lil BBQ spot. My fiancée and I ate there Monday of this week and I got the 1/2lb brisket plate. It was delicious! The brisket was perfect, half leans and half juicy and nice thick slices. It's Thursday now, and the rest of our family arrived in town... there's about. 11 of us so after having such an awesome experience we suggested going back to local smoke again as the food was great and plenty of seating. Unfortunately this time the brisket was very over cooked and crumbly, no slices. Also it was all lean, no juicy and I maybe got 1/4 lb. All in all, I'd give em another shot but definitely let me down this time. read more

I was very pleased with the food and staff at local smoke. The two young men who helped me at the restaurant were so nice. We ordered the pork nachos. They were so delicious. The guacamole seemed fresh made. We also got the three meat combo with potato salad and Mac and cheese. Everything was very tasty. My favorite was the smoked sausage. We tried all their sauces which were all delicious as well. The only negative thing I have to say is that the smoke turkey was pretty dry. read more

We ordered a pound pork and it was really a 1/3 pound with 2/3 pound of gristle and fat. I took it back to the counter and the lady said well you've already eaten on it. Well of course, how would I know it was fat til I tasted it. And then I had a pile of 2/3 pound of fat on the platter.
