Worst tasting burrito I've ever had. Most tasteless bland thing ever. I've had Moe's for years, near my old place-- and never was it sooo tasteless. There was something off taste too- I believe it was the watery pico. I couldn't wash my hands to eat my meal as they have locked the bathroom ( keep homeless out) and refused to open it for a customer requesting to wash their hands. read more

I was a frequenter of Moe's back in the day but hadn't been back in several years. Decided to grab a burrito bowl today. I went as soon as it opened so there weren't a lot of customers there. I found the employees to be friendly and accommodating. The restaurant was also clean at that time. As for the food, I did find the rice to be dry and the chips to be stale. I was a little surprised by this since I arrived after they opened and thought the ingredients would have been more fresh. But, despite those two complaints, my bowl was delicious. I always add tofu and love the way they marinate it. In fact, I had more than I could eat so I saved the leftovers for another meal. I think they have a decent amount of ingredients to choose from and plenty of sauces to select from. Their salsa was also really good. Overall, glad I stopped back in today. read more

It was just terrible! First, no "Welcome to Moe's!" I've never been to one that didn't do that. I figured out it was because I wasn't welcome. The lady at the start of the line had a bad attitude, never smiled, and didn't even try to be sweet to my 9-year-old. WTF? Proportion of everything in my burrito was off, and she wrapped it weird so all the meat was on one end and all the topping were on the other end. I'm sure the ingredients were fine, but they were overshadowed by rudeness, sloppiness, terrible work ethic, and doing it all wrong. I went back once since then, and it was the same. My wife and I drove from Cleveland to Hixon and then from Hixon to Chatt specifically to eat at Moe's. WHAT A MISTAKE. I've loved Moe's for a long time and always get excited when I get to eat there, but this time was different. We walked in and were greeted warmly, which made me happy. The employees were nice and friendly, but what I can't get over is when a restaurant is filthy. Moe's, your restaurant is FILTHY. There was debris on the floor, the tables were dirty, and every seat in the house needed to be replaced. Seats were repaired with duct tape or the fabric was sticky with grease. I even saw one of the cooks eating behind the line. Sadly, I'll never go back. Now that there are other places similar to Moe's that are clean, I'll choose those instead and will let Capitalism ring and just hope that Moe's closes or is closed down. Do Better Moe's! read more

Went to this Moe's location last night and placed a to-go order. I asked the first employee making the food if the Moes Monday could be a bowl instead of a burrito and she said yes. I began ordering two bowls. They were out of onion and mushroom, two of my favorite things at Moes. The lady said they stopped making mushrooms all together. Also, the portion were extremely small for a bowl. Maybe they give less for the Monday deal?! At checkout, the lady didn't want to honor the Monday deal because I didn't order burritos. They had to call a manager over to in fact, "allow it". Customer service was unfriendly and unhelpful. Super disappointed about no more mushrooms anymore... Once I got home, only about 5 minutes from the restaurant, everything was strangely cold. read more

I just walked into moe's at 9:38pm and they had already put all the food away. Yet they greeted me and let me walk up to the counter before telling me they were no longer serving food. If your store closes at 10 it should close and stop serving food at 10 and then should clean and put food away after it's closed. It is not right for them to put food away and not serve guest when there is still 30 minutes of serving time let. read more

We came today because I had a $5 off coupon they emailed me. We shared a burrito bowl. Wasn't gauc free at one point? I asked for gauc on my bowl and after he scoped it he said "that'll be extra". Moes is my favorite place, but not necessarily this location... Very dirty floors, walls, ceiling. The employees are much better than last Spring (2022) so that's a plus Do Not come if you have epilepsy! There are spot lights above the fans so it is very flashy. read more

I am going to be honest with you all. Moe's Southern Grill, for the longest time was not one of my favorite nor ideal restaurants to dine in, but THIS particular Moe's has changed that. Since this Moe's location is close to my residential area, I have made two to three visits and those visits have been pleased. Not only do they welcome you with a welcoming loud greeting "Welcome to Moe's" (every joint says this) but every staff member in this location is amazing! They are always smiling, conversational, always making my order perfect the way I ask for it, and fast too without it being all messy. The salsa bar is always full, as well as drink tops, straws, and eating utensils. The restaurant is always clean. Everyone seems to get along well with each other. In my experiences here, the line has never been too long of a wait. Aside of the wonderful customer service and the delicious food they provide, I have come to have a higher-level respect of this restaurant and its employees. Two out of three times I have been at this location, I have brought in homeless individuals to dine with me. As I got to the cashier, to my surprise, the cashier provided me with discount towards my meal. My overall price was equivalent to if I was only paying for a personal rather for two. This has happened in two separate occasions with different employees. As someone who values the community and giving back to the community, I was pleased to see that Moe's did the same. Rather than asking the homeless to get out the restaurant or call the police, they made sure he was fed. He was given the largest cup they had even though I had originally asked for a regular size cup. They wanted to make sure this individual had plenty of fluids to take with him after he was done with his meal. Because of their kindness, their care to the community, I am happy to do business with them. I dine at Moe's with a smile. I will say that I do not know if ALL Moe's Southern Grill is this way, but this particular location definitely has my recommendation. There are some great people that work at this place. I used to love this place. I don't know what has happened but it has slipped over the years. Booths are broken (I didn't even know that was possible). The service was so good and now they have order takers who won't even speak up. I asked five times for a cup of queso and they just looked at me. Three people I asked for queso. Seriously...I'm not gonna sugar coat it. With the exception of the music playing on the loud speaker, I didn't like anything about this place. The food was lukewarm, which I don't understand since it's on a steaming table, the rice crunchy, the restaurant dirty. The young man at the counter was pleasant although he didn't know if the chicken was white or dark meat. (Managers should really educate their staff on what they are selling.) I am normally a big fan of Moe's. I travel a great deal for work so finding meatless options is very much appreciated and I have eaten at Moe's all over the southeast and almost always walk away pleased. That being said; this is the worst experience I have had at a Moe's restaurant. The food was just as good as it always is but the service was terrible. After being ignored for several minutes in a very slow restaurant, I started looking on Yelp for an alternative when someone finally came to take my order. To make up for the slow service they were very unfriendly; not to the point of being rude but i definitely did not feel welcome....I felt like I was keeping them from something more important and didn't appreciate being bothered. The salsa bar was a mess but I did manage to scrape out enough of my favorite salsa so it wasn't a total waste. If this were my first experience with Moe's, I would never eat there again. I need to preface this review by saying that I *love* Moe's in general. As far as dry burritos (or as I've heard them called, White People Burritos) go, they are the best. I used to visit the one in Murfreesboro once a week when I lived there, and several of the employees there knew me by name and what I was going to order. It was a clean, friendly and efficient store. So when I moved to the North Shore in Chattanooga and realized there was no Moe's anywhere near me, I was a bit sad. (Ok, until I realized all of the other more awesome, independent places around.) Fast forward to yesterday, when I was over in East Brainerd running some errands at all those behemoth big box stores and I spotted a Moe's. HELL YES! Uh, hell no, though. This place is a shit hole compared to all of the other Moe's joints I've been to. Which is weird, because the shopping center it was in was really nice, and it's right next to the good Target in Chattanooga. The place was a goddamn mess. Food everywhere, even on the counter where you order--I don't even see how that's possible since there is a giant thing of glass separating the food from the counter. It was dark and dingy inside, and cramped, but I was planning on getting my order to go so that wasn't really a big deal. But god, the trash and food everywhere was just too much to handle. The salsa station looked like it hadn't been cleaned in months, and in order to reach over and fill up a to-go cup of some I had to either clean up the counter myself or risk dragging my shirt through salsa remains. I noticed that the employees at this location were all older, instead of the college students I usually see at Moe's restaurants, so maybe they were pissed off that they were still working in fast food and didn't really care about keeping the place clean? They were also a bit odd; as I was paying, the manager insisted I give him half of my burrito because he had to buy his own food even though he worked there. The guy who made my food complained to me that the manager always gave him a hard time, and then yelled at the manager, "I'M BEING NICE TO HER!!" I didn't really know how to react to that. Especially since the manager was standing right there, getting ready to "jokingly" demand I give him half of my food despite the fact we had never met before and that is, oh I don't know, completely unprofessional and a shitty attempt at humor. Since this is the only Moe's in town and I am a sucker for their burritos, I am guessing I will eventually go back. But I'll probably wait as long as I can based on my experience here. Went in today and had a great experience. Guy that made my burrito was named Larenzo I think. He was friendly and cool. I think I saw a regional manager of some sort sitting at a table on a laptop so maybe that's why they were exceptionally friendly. But in any event, the staff seemed sincere whether they were going a little over the top or not. The food was the great quality I come to expect from Moe's.
