Moe's is ok. Not the greatest burrito shop/taqueria, however, I ought to give this Moe's 5 stars just for being the ONLY place in all of Mobile to get a legitimate burrito. And, from what I hear, a Chipotle will be opening on Airport soon. I'll still prefer Moe's. Chipotle burritos are about as authentic as a $3 bill. Who uses jasmine rice in a burrito and charges $10 for it? LAME. I can't wait to '1-star' their ass. read more

Waited 20 minutes for this location to open at 11:00am. They had a crowd outside waiting to get in but still did not open the doors for business 10 minutes after 11:00 am. We and others left and ate elsewhere. We now see why their ranked so low. The staff looked outside right at us and ignored us. We went to the Schillinger rd location. The wait was minimal at lunch time. The service was friendly. The delivery and presentation was pleasing to the eye. The taste to me was a bit to I spicy and too many beans for my taste. My daughter and sister in law were in total agreement. If I return to this establishment I will definitely reserve myself to order no beans and ask for less spicy meats. The nachos were excellent with the dip. read more

I really love Moe's. I used to live and work next door to the very first Moe's ever (Peachtree Rd in Buckhead/Atl). My standards are pretty high as a result. I was very impressed with this location. The food was tasty as usual. The salsa bar was well stocked and clean.They could stand to speed up the service just a tiny bit, and the girl wielding the toppings spoon was pretty stingy. Another employee actually came up behind her and added more guac to my husband's meal. I'm used to them really piling everything on, which I why I generally get the "junior" version of my favorite burrito, the Art Vandalay (vegetarian). Overall, I really liked it and will be back. I've had some not-so-great Moe's at other Atlanta locations, so I was happy to see that Mobile knew how to do it right! read more

Food was edible, it's a step up from Taco Bell seems to have better ingredients and more choices than most fast food Tex-Mex places. It was fairly busy when I walked every one behind the counter greeted me as I walked in the door. Kinda noisy but then again it was the dinner hour. The young lady that waited on me was very soft spoken, but nice had to strain to hear her over the music mostly. My food was ready in timely matter, it was something to beat the everyday choices but I know I won't be a regular at this chain. Was not very enthusiastic about the way the young lady who presented me my meal kind dropped the bags on the counter and walked away but hey...Yet it satisfied my hunger for tonight. read more

Roach Restaurant! No kidding, was eating with my family when we spotted a roach crawling right next to our booth! Probably had been crawling under our table the whole time. Super gross! When we told a worker about it, she ran over to a table where the manager was sitting. They did absolutely nothing. So I yelled, "hey man you got a roach here". He begrudgingly walked over and squash it and asked "Is that it?" like we were making a big deal over one roach. Fuck him! And fuck this Moes! It's a general rule that where there are one roach, there are many. The manager didn't apologize or anything. I've been to many many Moes and this one does not uphold their name very well. In addition to the roach, (if that wasn't enough) the chips I got were stale af and the steak I had was cold af. All of the staff, including the manager were sitting at a table together just talking and looking at their phones. When a customer came in, one of them would lackadaisically walk back behind the counter and actually do their job. I noticed as well that they didn't have their health score up on the wall. When you want tacos or nachos, and you don't want a full-service Tex-Mex restaurant but definitely want something better than Taco Bell, Moe's is just the thing. I found the portions fair and the service very fast. Chips and salsa are included (4 different salads to choose from!) and there's a huge soft drink selection. Their chicken is a personal favorite. If you get nachos, consider getting the queso on the side. It reheats well. This location gets pretty busy at peak times, but the line does move. read more

I liked this location when I stopped in last week. Plenty of people her noshing on some food which is a nice sign. The food was good. I used the app for the first time and flubbed it by looking to use an offer that expired the day before. The cashier was patient with me and double checked that my offer had indeed expired after I apologized for my error. I almost always have a homewrecker jr. And ask them to grill it. The ingredients seem fresh and are much tastier than going to taco Hell. I like that the chips are included just make sure you aren't a douche by asking for extra chips or a super specialized order. read more

This has always been one of our GO TO favorites for Mexican. Not just any Mexican but the fresh taste of Moe's. For awhile the store at McGregor was slipping in quality & service. Not anymore...Service was great..Fresh beef & chicken seasoned and cooked perfectly, Fresh ingredients and a smile. It Has redeemed itself. The decor change was a nice surprise and we just really enjoyed our lunch. read more

I visited on 6.12.18 around 4:00 PM or so. The staff is REALLY stingy with the toppings ... paid for extra meat and the burrito still looked bare. The workers also simply "slop" the toppings on which totally takes my appetite away. Obviously, they don't enjoy what they do. I like my toppings placed on my burrito bowl in a certain order ( corn then cheese and sour cream last). No ma'am.... the ladies manning the bar let me know they were going to place them on in the order in which they preferred. This location needs work where customer service is concerned. I asked for chips with my bowl ,and it was as if I committed a crime. read more

yes, I agree with the other reviewer. Not anywhere near what you could get in CA or anywhere in the Southwest for that matter. I used to like this place because it was reminiscent of CA and it was cheap on Wednesdays (6 dollar burrito and a drink). But a few months back they started getting really stingy on the portions and since then I swore the place off for good. I don't know if I will ever find decent tex mex or even mexican food in the state of AL. I can keep on dreaming though... once I had decent Mexican food on the florida panhandle somewhere.... After moving to town a few years ago, I found Moe's and love it for what it was--a relatively cheap and filling place for a decent (though not authentic) burrito. Over the years, as another reviewer noted, the portions have been shrinking. However, a recent incident has made me swear off this place forever. I recently took my son there for dinner before a Scouts meeting. Upon the first bite, I noticed that the rice was undercooked and hard. I took it back and explained the situation. They made me another, which as it turns out, still contained the same hard rice. I took it back again and I noticed a large mound of fresh rice. They made a third burrito for me, but to my utter disappointment, I realized that they had merely put the new rice on top of the old and mixed it--the rice was still chewy. When I approached them again to complain, the young man, who I assume was an assistant manager, said to me, to my astonishment, "It's going to be cheaper for me to just give you your money back." There were other customers watching this, and no doubt, he thought this situation was "bad for business," but to just blow me off (without any dinner, mind you) was a broach of good business protocol beyond imagination. On top of all this, I had to ask three times for the drink machine (the fancy Coke machine with dozens of varieties) to be refilled. Life is too short to be treated so poorly when you have a choice. Never again will I set foot in that place. read more

Terrible service. Terrible app. And a disGUSTING garlicky mess of a burrito. The normal ingredients were fresh and delicious, as always, but when you tasted the steak, it made you want to vomit. I thought maybe I was just in a bad mood because the service had been so lengthy and poor and so I simply stopped eating. But then I got up in the middle of the night, saw my Homewrecker sitting on the counter and took a bite because I was still hungry. I almost threw up. There is some IDIOT that is cooking the meat now that thinks he's a chef, because it hasn't always been this way. But there is someone that thinks that the capricious addition of seasonings makes the meat better. I've been eating at and have loved Moe's for years. But they'd better fix this problem or they're going under in this location. Just regurgitated a little bit in the back of my mouth thinking about that disgusting steak on the burrito. Yuck. I won't be back to this location for years. And I'm right around the corner from it. Very sad commentary. read more

On 11/02/2017 at 1:45pm, I entered Moe's at McGregor Square and no employee greeted me properly. Ordered food and sat at my table and noticed I wasn't given any cheese sauce for my chips. I found out that I had to pay $1.20 for a dingy 2 oz. cup of sauce. While eating in, I only noticed one customer that was properly greeted but then found out that he was a friend of the person that greeted him. Restaurant floor was nasty, wi-fi took several tries to finally work and then it was way, way too slow to even use. Ordered the Earmuffs and a large drink and that was one overpriced meal. I did not see management at any point during my stay. The music had rap music in their song line-up which was not what one would expect from a restaurant that is labeled mexican. One male employee kept touching his face with his hands while behind the counter. The exterior of the bathroom door was so nasty, I feared walking into the men's room. What was considered a good restaurant a few years ago, has obviously changed for the negative and I will never return to this restaurant and I will tell my friends to do the same. read more
