    The Stack.

Sometimes you have a restaurant experience so bad it basically sours your entire day. Our meal at Moe's Southwest Grill was just such an experience. We arrived at around lunch and a quick perusal of their limited menu led me to The Stack ("Featuring Moe's Famous Queso. Choice of protein, beans, shredded cheese, pico de gallo, stacked between two crunchy corn shells wrapped in a grilled tortilla"). I picked it mostly because that description seems to indicate that all I'd have to choose is the protein, and I knew I wanted the adobo chicken. But apparently this dish requires a whole bunch of choices, and I was stuck with perhaps the unfriendliest, most unhelpful server I've encountered in a very long time. She mumbled her way through every question and statement, and if I paused to think about something, she got this look on her face like she wanted to kill me. It was very uncomfortable and unpleasant. And because she was so intimidating, I somehow wound up ordering a cup of Queso on the side, which I absolutely didn't want and which was actually pretty gross. It didn't have a flavor except for saltiness. The Stack itself wasn't much better. It was overloaded with bland, overly salty components and it was just so one note in its flavor. I wound up eating half and throwing the rest away. And how much did this awful lunch cost me? Including a burrito, which my dining companion also hated and didn't finish, almost $50 Canadian! I was shocked. (I want to also note that the person who checked me out was also very standoffish and unapproachable. Why have all the employees been instructed not to smile at their customers?) I guess every vacation has to have one low point. This was it for us, hopefully.

One of the best burritos I have ever had This restaurant is located inside the Avenues at the Viera. It is on the south side of the inner circle. I have been to this location many times over the years from when it first opened. You are greeted as you enter with the traditional, "Welcome to Moe's" although the enthusiasm in the delivery has reduced over the years. The menu is along the wall on your left as you enter the line to order your food. The staff was very friendly and helpful. One person takes your order, one adds extras, one prepares your plate or bag and another check you out. There is seating both inside and outside the restaurant. The drinks and salsa are across from the register. They have a good selection of food to order and drinks to include iced teas. There are 3 types of salsa: two red types and one green. Lately, the food seems to have gotten markedly better. This last visit I ordered a homewrecker burrito and it was absolutely delicious. The restaurant has been slightly busy the last several times I have visited. They have an order-out option and the pick-up is right in front of the door. The restaurant was slightly dirty with unbussed tables and unswept floors. The prices are very reasonable due to a large amount of food served and the chips served with each meal. Overall I would recommend this to any hungry travelers in the food quality, price and staff.

There's a Chipotle down the street. Do yourself a favor and get your burrito fix there. Their salsa is whack. The store was slightly messy, but that could be fixed easily if there weren't these super small holes in the trash bins. Kind of hard to throw things out when you're unable to dispose of trash properly. I ordered a chicken burrito bowel. My chicken lacked any sort of real flavor. The highlight of my trip was the Coca-Cola Freestyle machine. Over 100+ flavor combos. I have one grievance with this machine, why can't I combine Orange soda with vanilla. (Dreamsicle carbonated deliciousness - not Moe's fault!) Really not impressed and doubt I will return and give it another go. Sorry, Moe, you're just a no-go for me.

I realize we are in strange times with corona virus but I was so disappointed. Ordered dinner for my family and got to the restaurant when I was told it would be ready. When I got home the food was cold and my daughter had two chicken tacos that had so little chicken in it I don't see how they couldn't have been embarrassed to serve it to someone.

Note the peeling paint directly above the food prep Would you like some paint chips with your burrito?

This was my first and last visit. I had a white meat chicken burrito that tasted very bland, dried out. The food prep area is dirty and there's a huge hole where paint is peeling off the ceiling directly above where food is being prepped. Sitting a a booth in the back showed filthy walls and the seating area smelled of old urine. See pictures How could this place pass a health inspection?

Decent food, clean tables, friendly staff, reasonable prices for a chain restaurant. Sometimes the food tastes a little bland.

Absolutely best Mexican place in Brevard!…read more My dining partner does not normally like mexican food ordinarily, but we went twice in two days It's that good. Interior was clean and tastefully decorated. All staff super friendly and professional, frequently stopping by the table to refill drinks and check on us. Both times we went, the food was served extremely rapidly and super hot. The plates themselves were hot to keep your food from getting cold. I have not ordered a cocktail yet, but their menu was very extensive. In addition to the expected array of tequilas and margaritas, they also had a number of gin and bourbon options. I want to circle back and try the house specialty Buffalo Trace bourbon margarita. The lunch menu portions were huge and reasonably priced $12-$15, including several shrimp and steak options. Tres amigo burrito: seasoned steak, chicken and shrimp coveted with Blanco and chorizo sauce. We had other dishes as well but cannot spell them. The shrimp seemed to be grilled and were fabulously seasoned. The Blanco was so great we ordered a small side to enjoy with the chips and wonderful home made salsa. The lunch portions were large enough to enable me to take some home as leftovers. The $9 kids meal had 2 full sized corn dogs, fries and soft drink. As added bonus the lunch menu is available on weekends. Seriously give them a try!!

About 5 minutes later, server came over. No smile and no greeting. ‍ Anyways, we started with bean and cheese dip that was excellent. Of course we ran out of chips and had to ask for more, once dinner arrived. We didn't finish the app because of that. Jess had cheesesteak burrito. She loved it and so did I. I had enchilada Aztecs and the flavor was great. Really enjoyed the food, although I got my extra napkins from the bar. Cute place inside and Jess loved the plates. Service left a lot to be desired.

Not because it's the best, but because it's close, decent, and well priced. We mostly eat lunch here. My normal go to is a lunch special consisting of an enchilada and a taco, along with the beans and rice. I also get a taco on the side most of the time. The enchilada is usually kind of small. The food has actually gotten a bit less flavorful over the years. We are there today and the food was very bland. Very little seasoning on the food. I've never had to add salt or hot sauce, but had to today. The salsa they serve with the chips is par for the course. You will need to ask for spicy if you want a kick to it. The stuff they bring out is very mild (to me). The well brand liquor margaritas are typical for a place like this. You can also get 1/2 gallons of them to go. Soda is $2.50, so get one to go. They also charge for club soda, so be aware. Kids eat free on Sundays. But beware, half the time they "forget" to take the kids meals off. Make sure you look at your check. All in all, it's not the greatest, but it's not the worst. Service is always fast. We have never had to wait for food. They are always friendly and never get an attitude.

The restaurant looks like it used to be something else with oak booths and accents. There was some Mexican decor mixed in. We were welcomed immediately and escorted to a booth. The large screen TV had the football game on (soccer) Jose was our waiter and he was excellent the entire time we were there. A little challenged with English. Attentive, well-mannered, polite, non-intrusive, and professional. He seemed genuinely concerned that we have a nice experience. Immediately, chips and made-on-premises salsa was placed on the table with a big smile. The salsa was very good. The chips were well-shaped, but desperately needed salt. We ordered the combo and shared it. Two pork burritos & one pork enchilada plus rice & refried beans. The beans were very soupy. We had to ask for a spoon. The burritos & enchilada were covered in sauce & cheese. Tasty, but missing something. Not exactly bland, but not the Mexican flavor to which we have become accustomed. Seniors who are concerned about their food being too spicy would enjoy this. There is an outside covered and screened eating area. They had a large assortment of unique alcoholic drinks at specialty prices. The portions were large. We split one entree. We ate until we were full and took leftovers home for later. Plenty of parking. All the staff were pleasant, smiling, and acted as if they were happy we were there. It had a pleasant family feel. The restaurant is quite large with plenty of tables. The portions were large. The food was disappointing in taste, and the atmosphere was bland, however, the service was superior.
