We tried all day to order on the app the bogo offer and it would not discount my total. I proceeded to try and make contact with the viera location including surrounding locations and the numbers all go to catering. I understand when your busy the phone gets in the way of the operation however so does a malfunctioning we set. Sometimes you have a restaurant experience so bad it basically sours your entire day. Our meal at Moe's Southwest Grill was just such an experience. We arrived at around lunch and a quick perusal of their limited menu led me to The Stack ("Featuring Moe's Famous Queso. Choice of protein, beans, shredded cheese, pico de gallo, stacked between two crunchy corn shells wrapped in a grilled tortilla"). I picked it mostly because that description seems to indicate that all I'd have to choose is the protein, and I knew I wanted the adobo chicken. But apparently this dish requires a whole bunch of choices, and I was stuck with perhaps the unfriendliest, most unhelpful server I've encountered in a very long time. She mumbled her way through every question and statement, and if I paused to think about something, she got this look on her face like she wanted to kill me. It was very uncomfortable and unpleasant. And because she was so intimidating, I somehow wound up ordering a cup of Queso on the side, which I absolutely didn't want and which was actually pretty gross. It didn't have a flavor except for saltiness. The Stack itself wasn't much better. It was overloaded with bland, overly salty components and it was just so one note in its flavor. I wound up eating half and throwing the rest away. And how much did this awful lunch cost me? Including a burrito, which my dining companion also hated and didn't finish, almost $50 Canadian! I was shocked. (I want to also note that the person who checked me out was also very standoffish and unapproachable. Why have all the employees been instructed not to smile at their customers?) I used to live in FL and I was so excited to eat at Moe's again for the first time in over 8 years while on vacation. Things have certainly changed. My burrito was 90% rice with barely any beans at all, and I can tell the chicken is a lot lower in quality now. My tacos were so soggy that the shells fell apart, and the edges of the shells that weren't soggy tasted stale. This is not the Moe's I remember. I wanted so badly to love my food, but I'm not going to delude myself. It was NOT GOOD, and I'm beyond disappointed. What a waste of money. Never again. read more

I was a diehard Mose girl. Moe's taste so much better than chipotle. The employees are always so much better. I probably went to Moe's once a week for a year. Until the unfortunate day where I got food poisoning. They were the only thing I ate all day in about two hours after eating I was violently exploding from both ends of my body lol. It has been months since I ate there and it still gives me the chills. I don't know if it was the chicken or if the topping bar wasn't at the right temperature. Maybe the sour cream was left on the shelf by their other sauces and not in the refrigerated area below the counter. I can't remember. All I know is be warned. read more

One of the best burritos I have ever had This restaurant is located inside the Avenues at the Viera. It is on the south side of the inner circle. I have been to this location many times over the years from when it first opened. You are greeted as you enter with the traditional, "Welcome to Moe's" although the enthusiasm in the delivery has reduced over the years. The menu is along the wall on your left as you enter the line to order your food. The staff was very friendly and helpful. One person takes your order, one adds extras, one prepares your plate or bag and another check you out. There is seating both inside and outside the restaurant. The drinks and salsa are across from the register. They have a good selection of food to order and drinks to include iced teas. There are 3 types of salsa: two red types and one green. Lately, the food seems to have gotten markedly better. This last visit I ordered a homewrecker burrito and it was absolutely delicious. The restaurant has been slightly busy the last several times I have visited. They have an order-out option and the pick-up is right in front of the door. The restaurant was slightly dirty with unbussed tables and unswept floors. The prices are very reasonable due to a large amount of food served and the chips served with each meal. Overall I would recommend this to any hungry travelers in the food quality, price and staff. read more

Went to the Moe's in viera. Hadn't been to Moe's in years but always chose it over chipotle back in the day. This time there was no "welcome to Moe's". The salsas tasted rancid like they sat out over night and none of them were even spicy. They have these new sauces that were pretty decent but seem more like a chicken dipping sauce. Overall just a disappointing experience especially since I only allow myself one cheat meal a week. The staff are just there to collect a paycheck with no direction from a manager. If there was a manager they didn't care to give direction or take pride in the food quality. read more

There's a Chipotle down the street. Do yourself a favor and get your burrito fix there. Their salsa is whack. The store was slightly messy, but that could be fixed easily if there weren't these super small holes in the trash bins. Kind of hard to throw things out when you're unable to dispose of trash properly. I ordered a chicken burrito bowel. My chicken lacked any sort of real flavor. The highlight of my trip was the Coca-Cola Freestyle machine. Over 100+ flavor combos. I have one grievance with this machine, why can't I combine Orange soda with vanilla. By now, it should be evident that by my frequent visits at Moe's Southwest Grill, it is my go-to place for Taco Tuesdays. However, not all of the restaurants are built or run the same. Case and point: the restaurant located in the mall is understandably smaller with a smaller selection on their menu. With that in mind, how does the location at Hammock Landing stack up on its on and compared to other Moe's Southwest Grill restaurants within the Melbourne/Palm Bay area? The answer: just another good location that neither stands out or falls short. Located in the Hammock Landing, a very popular outdoor shopping mall in Melbourne/Palm Bay north of Palm Bay Rd. and west of I-95, Moe's is one of the more prominent restaurants located there. It is easy to see as its visibility from Norfolk Rd. is quite prominent. As for the restaurant, it is a typical Moe's with a wide range of seating and food you'd expect from a higher end Tex-Mex place. As mentioned earlier, this Moe's location neither stands out or falls short compared to other Moe's locations. The staff was friendly, the service was good, and the food was delicious. This can be said about any other good Moe's Southwest Grill though. If there are any details that stand out or fall short, it would most likely be personal. For example, if someone lives nearby, it is a stand out point that they are close by. That wouldn't be the same for someone living up in Rockledge. Ultimately, this Moe's is a-okay. It is also the only Tex-Mex place I can think of anywhere near the vicinity of Hammock Landing. That bit of information may also prove to be vital depending on a person's activities or preferences for the day too. read more

I went to Moes at around 1040AM on 9/14/2024. The employee that first helped me was very welcoming, however, once the manager Mariah took over that changed. Mariah did not say welcme to moes or even cracked a smile. It was like my being there to order was burdonsome. When trying to get her to put in points for visit since I'm a rewards member was a major inconveniance for her as she stated that she was going to take the order of the customer behind me knowing full well that that could have only taken 30 seconds and there was only a small group. Then when I went to get the sauces for the burrito that I ordered, she was right there taking care of a catering order. I mistakingly took one of the big cups she had and she told me that I would need the smaller cups. Why couldn't she have taken care of this before they opened. It was 1040AM and there was only me and one small group of customers. They were not busy at all. Now I see why that this Moes does not have that much business. read more

I realize we are in strange times with corona virus but I was so disappointed. Ordered dinner for my family and got to the restaurant when I was told it would be ready. When I got home the food was cold and my daughter had two chicken tacos that had so little chicken in it I don't see how they couldn't have been embarrassed to serve it to someone. read more

Went in for lunch at noon. All of the food looked like it had been sitting out for hours and wasn't fresh. Ordered a bowl and got the smallest serving sizes of everything. Food was standard Moe's, but the employees on the line were pushing people through the line so fast you could barely understand what they were offering you and didn't even have time to make a decision before the plopped toppings on your food. I get that they were busy but they were downright inconsiderate and cared about nothing more than how many people they could move through the line per minute. read more

This was my first and last visit. I had a white meat chicken burrito that tasted very bland, dried out. The food prep area is dirty and there's a huge hole where paint is peeling off the ceiling directly above where food is being prepped. This is a pretty typical Moe's. The food is good and not dry or overcooked like what could happen in a restaurant that serves food in this style. Some of the employees seem to be having a good time but there are enough that look like theid rather be getting a colonoscopy to even out the mood here. The location is good for the Avenues shoppers but the line inside and at the soda machine can be a pain in the butt sometimes. Good tip: if it's busy inside and the weather's nice out, walk out the door next to the soda machine for some nice outdoor seating. It's often overlooked. read more

We ended up at Moes since our first choice had an hour-long waiting list, and honestly, this place wasn't even our second choice. So, we entered the place already with an air of disappointment, thankfully, we were surprised. Right from the moment you answer all the workers give you a "Welcome to Moe's!" greeting. Very nice. The place reminds me of a Subway but geared towards tacos and burritos. It was a small menu, but what makes it daunting are the different choices you can have on a burrito, taco, or bowls. I had their Homewrecker (a beast of a burrito), where my wife had something akin to a chalupa only much, much bigger. Drinks were from the Coke dispensing machine or brewed teas. The food quality was good - not spectacular, but good. My wife had her meal drizzled with a lemon sauce that was really good. The chips they provide are a bit skimpy to me, but the sizes of the meals more than made up for that. Ambiance - there really is none. It's like eating at a Subway or any other fast food joint, ambiance doesn't really come with the place. But, it was clean, the workers were friendly, and we walked away more than satisfied. read more

Wish I read reviews here before I ordered food, we would've picked somewhere else. Placed an online order thinking that would be easy, however we were wrong. After placing an order at 6:28 and it saying to pick up our food at 6:48, I was needless to say shocked when I walked in at 6:50 and the order had not even been started. As we sat in the car waiting, foolishly, we saw person after person that was in the restaurant and had ordered leave with their meals. It's finally 7:16 and we just got our order, my wife said no apology was given either by any staff member, very frustrating. Update....they refunded our meal purchase after I had sent a review online on their website as well. It was my first time ever going to a Moe's location, and the food was actually very good I do have to say. We will be giving them a second chance in the future. read more

Well where do I begin. I walked in and nobody welcomed me to Moe's. I love Moe's. It's been there when I needed it the most. However this location also has water dripping from the AC vents. ON THE TORTILLAS. But besides the unsatisfactory that I have already, I waited patiently as one guest walked in and had 9 different orders. Not only did sparky mcorder pants ordered the whole restaurant. But then they didn't have enough to pay for these orders. No management on site to solve this situation. Took 23 minutes to get my food. Although it was great AS USUAL. But maybe the Asian kid shouldn't speak lifelessly. And maybe if the other kid with tinted highlights like an **NSYNC singer wasn't on his phone. Things would've been smoother. Regardless of my experience. The food is still great. And you're lucky I didn't mention how you didn't welcome me into your establishment. I hear you're supposed to give a free order for such blasphemy. It's probably NACHO problem. We love Moe's so we decided to order the taco take home kit. We first ordered cilantro rice but when we got home it was not cilantro rice, they ended up giving us the seasoned rice (which btw we threw out because it was super dry and just gross). For the 2 proteins we ordered the steak and ground beef. Ok, first of all we had NO idea the "ground beef" that we ordered would be chili meat. We were greeted by the standard "Welcome to Moe's" shout out and you get the impression that the employees hate saying it over and over because there are never any smiles or eye contact...just yelling. I ordered the Homewrecker with steak, black beans, cheese, lettuce, rice, and sour cream (guacamole on the side). My only complaint with the food is that they seem to be skimpy with the amount of food in the thing. When you scoop some meat but then shake it to level it off, expect a dirty look from me. I like to use a spoon to put a little dab of salsa on each bite. I have to say that it was pretty good. They also have one of those new soda dispensers that have a multitude of flavor combinations available. I got the grape Sprite Zero, which was different. I'm not exactly sure why the Moe's employees have a tip jar as if they go above and beyond what any other fast food employee does. This Moe's isn't terrible... Yes, it's standard chain restaurant quality. Sure, the employees look like they're constantly miserable, with each "Welcome to Moe's!" dripping like poison from their lips, but the quality of the food is always decent (albeit bland-ish,) the price reasonable for what you're getting, and the attempted-quirky-ambiance spot on for a teenage-ridden outdoor mall like The Avenue. It's one of the only places in The Avenue I can count on to give me exactly what I'm looking for. In addition, their fun salsa bar, vegetarian options, and ample seating are big pluses, when compared to other food options at The Avenue. They're also open later than other food options at The Avenue. Beware of long lines on weekends! read more

Worst Moe's I've ever been to. Upon walking in, my friend and I had to wait almost 10 minutes to be helped, even though there were about 3 other employees standing around, including the cashier who was not helping anyone. Once being helped, the food preparer did a sloppy job on some pretty skim burritos. For almost $7 a burrito, I'd expect a bit more than taco bell like portions. The big kicker was that the cashier accidentally melded my order with my friends. My friend caught the error when she heard the total. When we questioned the cashier, she rudely replied, I WILL give you an itemized receipt, and with no hesitation swiped my friends card for the wrong amount. When we informed her, she had rang us up wrong, she blamed me, saying I had told her to do it. Um, no. In the end a horrible customer service experience. The staff was lazy and rude. I've had much better experiences at other Moe's and I hope the Viera location gets their act together. read more

Yesterday evening August 8, 2021, around 1800 hours, I went to this location to get some food with my two children, and I was disgusted by what I saw, but I was enraged by the response I got from the "manager" and staff when I brought it up to their attention. First, I saw a large, dirty towel stuffed in the A/C vent directly above the area where they prepare the food, right on the corner where they take your order. Then I noticed a drop of water fall on the counter, exactly where they place the tortillas right in front of the rice bins. I watched closely and I realized that there was water dripping in several spots. I saw water drip directly inside the seasoned rice bin, (not the lime & cilantro rice, but they use the same scoop back and forth between the two, so they were both contaminated by the same water). There was a line longer than usual because Chipotle around the corner was closed and it was raining, so we stood in line for at least 20-25 minutes before placing my order and while I waited I saw order after order get water right on the food. The person preparing the food was well aware of this because he got dripped on a couple of times, but he went about his business without even attempting to protect the food from getting water on. There were drops of water falling on the food at least every 10-15 seconds and I couldn't believe that they just let it fall on the tortillas, the rice, and the bowls they were preparing. When it was my turn to order, I asked the guy to please move my tortilla for my burrito to his left, away from the spot where the water was hitting. He did, but for the next item in my order he placed it right on the same spot that was getting dripped on so I had to ask again and this time he seemed bothered by my request (but he complied anyway). We moved down the line and made our way to the cashier, where I asked for a manager. I was met by this unprofessional kid who brushed it off as a normal occurrence saying that they had been trying to get it fixed but no one was doing anything about it so there was nothing he could do. He then proceeded to suggest that I complain to The Avenue directly (the landlord) to see if they come to fix it for them. I politely insisted that even in that case, they should at the very least remove the rice bins and place them in a different spot where they wouldn't get wet, and stop preparing food items in that corner and simply move a few feet down the line where there was no leaks above the food. He said that they "keep on moving them... incoherent mumbles...but there's nothing we can do...." and walked away. Then an older gentleman who was ahead of me overheard the conversation and jumped in asking "wait, you have water leaking on the food???" to what the "manager" blatantly responded "NO" right in front of me!!! WTF?!?!?! That was the most disrespectful part of the whole interaction, because on top of dismissing my complaint and failing to even try to correct the situation, he then chose to lie to a customer about it and tried to make me look like a liar, when I had just showed him the water falling in the food and he admitted to being aware of it!!!!!! I turned to the older gentleman and confirmed that it was true and I showed him. The gentleman was obviously upset and told the "manager" clearly and firmly that they need to correct that or shut it down. He then said that he's a food service manager and he would hate to have to report them guys, and left. I'm a chef by profession and I know very well how things work in a restaurant, and I will not allow some disrespectful punk play with our health. There's no telling what kind of contaminants people are ingesting in each bite they take in this place. From bird feces if the water is coming from the roof, to rat feces, bat feces, cockroach feces, or even dirt or dust.... it doesn't matter... We don't want anything in our food that doesn't belong there. This careless attitude by an incompetent staff is the reason so many people die from food-born illnesses each year. I want to know that this complaint gets taken seriously and this place gets inspected and this issue corrected. read more

I've been going here for years now, this Moe's is my favorite by far and I feel as if I'm cheating on this place when I visit other Moe's lol. Moe's is by far one of my favorite little get together place with friends and family as it's usually a fun environment and always a good time here. I will say over the years mistakes have happened with my food but know that they've never had an issue fixing the mistake and going above and beyond in making it right, and keeping me coming back again, and again. For all the people that rant and rave on how chipotle is so much better.... I truly don't understand you as you're missing out on so much that Moe's has to offer all for a much cheaper price. The quality in food, along with the portion of food per meal and atmosphere here at Moe's is worth every dollar spent as you won't revive half of this at chipotle. Before any of you Moe's haters chime in, know that I do eat chipotle time to time as I'll go with friends if I have to and I don't mind the food, it's just not the same and no queso?!?! I like Moes!!! I don't care what anyone says! What I like about Moes is the vast amount of ingredients/ toppings they have to choose from. I live for their chicken and steak tacos. My favorite toppings are the grilled onions/ mushrooms/ peppers, and the fresh cilantro. I find they give generous servings in both their tacos and burritos, and I enjoy the chips and salsa. Top that off with the sauce bar of varying types of salsas/ sauces, and really what's not to like? For a chain, they're good. I'll take them over Chipolte any day. read more

This restaurant was my introduction to Moe's. The thing that is fun about traveling is that you find chains you didn't know existed. Anyhow, I ordered a taco salad. It was fine. I was actually impressed with the options. I can't say I was expecting authentic Mexican food. I wasn't. I'd probably choose to go elsewhere but the kids enjoyed it and that is what is important.
