Eric said he would arrive in about an hour but showed up roughly three hours late. He checked the cameras only after he had already attached all of them with adhesive. He should have verified the live view on the app before permanently sticking them down. Problems I found afterward: * Rear camera is mounted upside-down and left/right flipped * Front camera is not centered and needs to be moved more to the middle I contacted him about the issues and he said he would check the schedule. After that, he ghosted. For a $250 three-camera job, checking orientation and positioning on the app before using adhesive should be basic procedure. I ended up having to correct the problems myself. Would not recommend.

When i picked up the Bronco, Joel Joseph had "misunderstood" me and did an additional $600 worth of sound deadening. Then I paid for Alpine S69c speakers, and they installed Alpine E series speakers, causing the amp to fry them. Then They broke clips in one of the speaker grills (they replaced after they realized i knew) . They did not install one of the covers that go over the speaker, and caused vibrations. Then they installed another amp incorrectly, and caused another set of speakers to blow. Then I keep finding little nicks and scratches on the trim. Then they charged me for a specific subwoofer, and then its on back order, so they put a cheaper subwoofer in, and charged me full price for more expensive subwoofer. After install, the chime was twice as loud, and when opening the doors, the ding is way too loud. I asked them to fix, but they said they didnt turn it up and it wasnt their fault, even though it wasnt that loud before. I asked for a full refund, and to return the cars to stock, they refused to give a refund. So here now im here to warn folks to be careful when dealing with them.... Check your stuff. Im sure Joseph will respond to this saying they do good work and they guarantee their stuff, and if i had an issue i should go up there etc etc.... Well Joel.... i did. 8 times. Im done giving you chances to get stuff right that should have been done right the 1st time. 10k should have gotten me 2 AMAZING sounding systems.... instead i got 2 systems that sound like they came from Buckner.

I wrote up a list of what I wanted and sent it to the car stereo installers that had the best reviews on Yelp, including one I had used in the past. I must have sent this to 5 of the top-rated car stereo installers in Dallas. And guess what? None of them could respond intelligently to the requirements that I put together except for Joseph's Auto Toy Store. My challenge was that Joseph's did not have a 4 or 5 star rating on Yelp--although the shop does on Facebook and Google. So, I kept trying to get the other car stereo installers to respond to me via email and Facebook Messenger and Yelp messenger. I even tried calling a couple of times and got 'voicemail box is full.' (That is a huge pet peeve of mine--clear your voicemail boxes people!) And after 3 weeks of this, I replied to Joseph's via a Yelp message and explained my dilemma. Joel, the owner, replied back that they've been in business 36 years and have great customer and supplier relationships. He replied to my messages via Yelp so fast. So, I figured I'd give him a try. Yesterday, I stopped by and got my stereo installed. There were some complications that I think other car stereo shops would've taken longer to fix -- like a part was missing and it was raining. Joel called in a favor and had someone drive the part to us in the rain, even with all the Dallas traffic. Once installed, there was an issue with the steering wheel controls, and they caught the issue on their own --without me having to notice it--and used a hardwiring work around because there were no manufactured connectors available to match the unique configuration of the stereo and my vehicle. This did take longer than I expected, but I know that with any of the other shops I called -- who couldn't put two sentences together over text or email -- that I wouldn't have received my car back yesterday and that I'd still be waiting. My overall assessment of this Joseph's Auto Toy Store is that this place is run by professionals who know what they're doing and can communicate clearly. Unfortunately, no other shop I called--including Best Buy--gave me this impression. If you're a buyer that appreciates workmanship and communication, this is the place for you.

Really Terrible…read more Quality of materials seems good, but install was definitely not. Waited the requested 5 days before using my windows. Passenger window trim was not reinstalled correctly and but a gash in the tint. When calling to get this repaired was told I'd have to wait for an opening in their schedule - you're kidding me. Needed my vehicle to travel to a funeral. Stopped at the shop and one of the guys was able to fix the trim and I would have to return to fix the tint. Again, called for an appointment and had to wait several days. When the tint was replaced, there were air bubbles. They said to wait a week and they would go away. Four months later, they are still there. It is just not worth it to wait on appointment for them to mess up my tinting again. Lousy customer service, lousy install, never, ever will use them again.

Work began around that time but was not resolved until May 4th, nearly a month past the original deadline. Even at that point, the issues were significant: the entire right side of the car was not functioning correctly, the DSP inputs were configured wrong, and the speakers were installed in the wrong locations (higher-quality drivers belong in the front doors...). Scheduling delays, largely on DJ's end, pushed things to May 4th, at which point I sought a second opinion. The new shop walked me through the deficiencies in detail and made clear what had been done incorrectly, including a stripped bolt connecting the seat to the floor. Given that I had already paid a substantial sum for substandard work, they were professional and transparent throughout the process and had it done in two days.

I explained to them that I need to fix the chip so I don't have to go through a claim process with my credit card, because who wants to really go through claim processes? Nobody. He said no problem we can get this fixed for you in the morning before you return it. He came at 7am and sent me before and after photos. The "after photo" he texted me appeared as if there was no more visible chip so I figured mission accomplished. When I got in the car I was shocked. This was not fixed at all and actually looked worse than before because of the drilling he did. (Photos attached) So now I'm going through the claim process that I was trying to avoid and out hard earned dollars that they refused to refund.

One thing you need to have handy to get an estimate are the measurements of the windows. Good thing my house windows are the same sizes which made the whole process easier. The only thing that was not the same size was the patio door. When I talked with James, he replies very fast and very friendly as well. He does an onsite consultation and gets the exact measurements, but unfortunately, I had to work during the week and no internet at the home yet and then of course all my belongings were still in California. However, he did mail me a package of tint to take a look at and all prices are the same no matter what you choose. I decided not to look anywhere else and just went with this company. The prices were great. I had my windows tinted in California and I paid 3 times as much, but then again I did have more windows too. The installer came the following week and got done within 5-6 hours as I had 13 windows to tint. The thing that made the process fast was everything was precut and ready to go and all I had to do was give them the measurements. I am sure I was probably off a little, but they managed to make the windows perfect. Overall, for great prices, awesome service and excellent feel for the house. Well money spent especially for the Texas heat. I will put in pictures later.

I had an updated radio head unit installed in my 2019 4runner at a national chain electronics store. After 4 appointments, the installers finally told me that some of the features, including being able to connect to my JBL sound system, wouldn't work due to "compatibility issues." i gave up on them and took my car to Moe's. After only a few minutes of discussion with Moe, he knew immediately what the most likely problems were, and assured me he could the system working right. He was as good as his word! It turned out that the other installers had wired the connecting interface in wrong. In just a short appointment, he had everything corrected, and then spent time with me going over each component to show me that it worked. I learned my lesson, and should I have any need for expert help with car audio in the future, I won't trust anyone to work on it but Moe's. read more

After initially installing my system, I discovered loose wires. I went back to have them fix the issue, but just three weeks later, the wires came loose again. The situation was so bad that I decided to cut my losses and take my car to another audio shop to have everything fixed properly. We took our Nissan Kick to Moe's car audio, as we had a marble stuck under our seat. When we arrived to the shop we were welcomed with smiling faces and quality costumer service. They were thorough with the service requested, and we felt like a valued customer. I have been using Moe for a few years now to do both audio systems work as well as window tinting and Moe and his team ALWAYS deliver the goods. Excellent professional service and in a very timely manner all the while making you feel like you're an old friend as everyone on the team is very friendly and outgoing. I even have an upcoming appointment to have Moe switch out a bad microphone in one of my vehicles and I know he'll have it done in about an hour and charge me a fraction of what the dealership would. This place is amazing! They did a complex complete system upgrade on my F150. Multiple JL Audio VX amps with hub and bass/system control knob powering JL C6s in front and C3s in rear with a 12TW3. With how finicky some of the setup is required in some of the newer cars, DIY wasn't worth it for me. Earmark has the best equipment, and tailors the system to exactly what you are looking for. They were very happy to assist after the purchase, to ensure I was happy. Matt was my sales person. He is super cool, and always makes me feel like an important customer. Focal is the brand I went with, as far as speakers and amps go. I left the stock head unit. Definitely do the sound dampening as it makes a huge difference. I recommend getting a Sony Walkman as digital music sounds far better that radio or satellite radio.

(That is a huge pet peeve of mine--clear your voicemail boxes people!) And after 3 weeks of this, I replied to Joseph's via a Yelp message and explained my dilemma. Joel, the owner, replied back that they've been in business 36 years and have great customer and supplier relationships. He replied to my messages via Yelp so fast. So, I figured I'd give him a try. Yesterday, I stopped by and got my stereo installed. There were some complications that I think other car stereo shops would've taken longer to fix -- like a part was missing and it was raining. Joel called in a favor and had someone drive the part to us in the rain, even with all the Dallas traffic. Once installed, there was an issue with the steering wheel controls, and they caught the issue on their own --without me having to notice it--and used a hardwiring work around because there were no manufactured connectors available to match the unique configuration of the stereo and my vehicle. This did take longer than I expected, but I know that with any of the other shops I called -- who couldn't put two sentences together over text or email -- that I wouldn't have received my car back yesterday and that I'd still be waiting. My overall assessment of this Joseph's Auto Toy Store is that this place is run by professionals who know what they're doing and can communicate clearly. Unfortunately, no other shop I called--including Best Buy--gave me this impression. If you're a buyer that appreciates workmanship and communication, this is the place for you.
