I've made it my MISSION to find boba tea drinks like the ones I had when I lived in Miami and let me tell you, Tsaocaa checked all my boxes! I visited today (Sunday) and it was pretty full but the workers were extremely efficient and got everyone's drinks and food out in a timely manner. The shop was cute and clean, full of boba drink art and plushies. I felt instant nostalgia sipping into my milk black tea with crystal pearl & regular boba that was topped with cheese milk foam. It tasted just like the one I remember getting and loving back home. I can also recommend the mango puree milk with boba for those who are just wanting a fruity boba drink sans the caffeine. Recently came for their last day of their yearly BOGO tradition and let me tell it was packed! Every chair and table was full with multiple people standing against the wall-- tickets filling up their counter space. I ordered their Mango Pomelo & Salty Coconut Pineapple on their kiosk as it seemed the cashier was a bit stressed. I received a text from their ordering system that my drinks were ready about 5-7 minutes after ordering. It was a mistake which I didn't mind because I'd surprised if they were ready with the amount of people that ordered in there before I even arrived. We waited another 30 minutes before our drinks were ready-- and I loved both. The pineapple one had crunchy bits that threw me off guard as I was not expecting it. My friend also got a drink of pineapple variety that had crunchy bits so we assumed that maybe it was the pineapple chunks? Also they used have a Mango Pomelo Sago. The key difference being the Sago. LOL. But anyway I really enjoyed that one last year. The staff was super friendly and efficient despite the amount of stress and pressure they were probably under-- props to them for doing such a good job. If you don't want to miss out on this BOGO deal, definitely sign up for their text alerts since they'll send you a message letting you know when it's happening. This is one of the top 3 teahouses in Tampa and are always slammed with customers for a reason. Tsaocaa is Hong Kong style bubble tea, so you will see more HK Lemon and Milk Teas on the menu. These HK style teas are my favorite here because it is their specialty. I also like their Hong Kong style melon teas with nada de coco jelly, which is very HK and you will not see in Taiwanese drinks. My daughter has been wanting to try a K-Dog for months. We found a spot in DFW but it was not good. I had to let her know that I will find another place and try again. After our flight to Tampa, I seen Tsaocaa while searching for K-Dogs on my maps. As soon as we walked in, my daughter was already smiling. The style of the restaurant was so nice and clean. The staff greeted us. The machines were easy to order on. When we got our food and drinks, the presentation looked so good. She took her first bite and the cheese stretched so far. My visit at Tsaocaa was great, and honestly I have been craving for their coconut mango slush since then. Usually that order comes with crystal boba, but i substituted it for mango popping boba, which I think is the right move. This boba shop also comes with hot food. I always love the Korean corn dogs. I got the simple Korean corn dog with half cheese and she's got the sweet potato one. They were both yummy. The service was fairly fast. It was good too because they have a self service kiosk. They also have descriptions of the food in the kiosk. In this way you get to order without awkwardly looking up at the menu board. Nice crunchy breading and the wings are always thoroughly cooked (never had a raw wing here). Usually, get the honey garlic, but tried the secret spicy today. Sweet with a mild spiciness to them. The wings aren't drowning in sauce. Each order of 10 wings come in a nice little box, no matter if you are dining in or taking it to go (this is great if you have leftovers.) Singing Happy Praises for Tsaocaa, a new boba and Korean fried chicken spot!! I tried a bunch of goodness here, and I can't stop raving about it. First and foremost, I simply loved my drink. I picked the Lychee Green Tea w/ Crystal Pearl, and milk foam(cheese foam). My friend Ordered the purple yam boba drink. To me, it tasted flowery and with cloves. I don't know how else to describe it. Quite different. I'm happy I know what it tastes like. For bites, I had the Taiwanese Popcorn Chicken and the Takoyaki (Octopus Balls). The popcorn chicken seasoning is nice and flavorful and is very addicting. The takoyaki is good and interesting with the flakey bonito flakes. I never had that before. The site reminds me of onion skin. It compliments it well, but not yummy by itself. Takoyaki also had a very Japanese Mayo taste in case u don't like tons of Mayo. Because I loved it so much, I had to buy Korean Fried Chicken. I bought a small Honey Garlic wings which comes with 12. I also bought a small soy garlic drumsticks with comes with 5. They warm up nicely in the air fryer. They were both excellent. The next day I made a waffle to go with the chicken. That made it even more amazing and unforgettable. These prices are very good for the quality and quantity and the service was excellent and super helpful!! I don't get the type yet! Came here to try it based on other reviews. And I went out of my norm/comfort zone with not ordering matcha here which I probably should've just stuck with my usual. They were pretty busy when we walked in and it took a good 30 minutes for our order to be ready. I'm going to blame the wait on the amount of people there and hopefully it's not their normal speed. We ordered the popcorn chicken along with strawberry yogurt drink, dragon fruit green tea (didn't change the way it came which is with the crystal pearl and milk foam) and the brown sugar bubble milk tea. Dragon fruit tea was good, not overly sweet and nice flavor. It was sort of a slush tea which I also liked. Seems they blend it with ice. I liked it with the milk foam however hated the crystal pearls that it came with. Next time I'd definitely order without. The pearls are crunchy and no flavor, sort of like the center of the lychee jellies but this version was not good. The strawberry yogurt drink was actually good...also blended and not overly sweet however again the pearls it had were not good. It would've been better without. Even the hubs who is not a fan of tea thought it was ok but also hated the pearls. The brown sugar tea was probably the best one. But REALLY sweet!! My new favorite place!! I know I tend to say "best boba place ever" but this truly is probably the 2nd best place next to TP Tea. I came here 3 days in a row and tried different items. Some drinks were a hit or miss but the popcorn chicken and soy garlic fried chicken wings were AMAZING. It was juicy, crispy, hot and fresh every time. I also got the Takoyaki and bubble waffle and that was good as well. They have such unique drinks, toppings and even unique bubble egg waffle flavors! It's the most unique boba shop I've visited. This place was really nice and clean! I ordered the brown sugar milk boba subbed with oat milk, takoyaki and sesame balls. The flavor and chewyness of the boba and jelly was good but my drink seemed watered down and hardly any oatmilk. The takoyaki (I got the half serving) was really good! It wasn't too salty or overpowering. The sesame balls were also good but a bit pricey. They have plenty of seating although the bench seats are a bit too high for the table. Loved that Yelp pointed us to this little gem. Just visiting Tampa, and we needed to celebrate a great day of volleyball. The menu is extensive, but the cashier was super helpful in recommending what was good, what was very sweet, and what may be too much. The kids loved the King's and Rosa Milk Teas with tapioca boba. I tried a Brown Sugar Black Tea & loved it! The baby got a lychee fruit milk tea and subbed strawberry popping boba for the tapioca. I really wanted to continue loving Tsaocaa. I'm not sure if it's lack of labor or store cutbacks, but it seems most 5 Star Places start slacking after grand opening. We frequent every week and the wait time has gotten longer and longer for food items: on this particular Sunday I called in advance while driving 30 minutes to get a Korean corn dog and five pieces of chicken wings. I know that a normal cook time would be 15 minutes for these items. After waiting 40 minutes I came into the store and they told me that it would take another 15 minutes. Which means they didn't even start making my order yet. My time away from home or doing a Boba run is especially limited with an infant, so almost a one hour Wait time for two items is an acceptable way to run a business . they were able to give me a refund. And I purchased a strike milk tea to my the drive worthwhile. Hopefully management is checking reviews and hire more staff or accurately address wait times. First of all... I LOVE TEA The first time I had Tsaocaa was in Jacksonville, FL and I loved it. Strawberry Mint Mojito is a simple and delicious drink. Their black tea is made well and the green tea is over equal taste and flavor. If you're a boba lover or a tea fiend like me this is a must try place. Great atmosphere and mostly friend staff except for the one guy I held the door for he just walked by and went back to work (kind of rude there bud) I won't hold it against them over all but yes, go here try the drinks they are all great. I had an awesome pre-birthday lunch at TSAō·CAA! A friend suggested it to me, and I'm so glad we visited. So much so, that I can't wait to go back again. I may have to make more special trips over to the USF area just to revisit. So, I must say that the interior is clean and bright. You're greeted as soon as you come in. The staff are all very helpful when asked questions about drinks. I decided to start with the Purple Potato Bubble Milk Tea. The amber bubble was included with this drink. I was so happy about that. In fact, the menu listed many drinks that include at least 1 topping. Some even include 2 toppings (a milk foam and a crystal pearl). Most of their large (24 oz) drinks are under $6. It's super affordable, and made from fresh brewed tea and natural flavors (no powders). Anyway, the purple potato was definitely present. In fact, even the potato consistency was there. I did see a video of how they make the purple potato mixture, and it's the real deal. I tasted the sweet potato, but was also surprised by what I detected as a hint of clove. I think that was coming from the amber boba, but I'm not totally sure. It was my first time trying it so I was happy for the new experience. My friends Lychee Green Tea was totally delicious. Both drinks were presented beautifully. Now, I know that TSAō·CAA is literally the "Holy Land of Tea" but I was mostly impressed with the chicken and appetizers. I mean every item we tried off of the snack menu was absolutely amazing! I really love the Taiwanese Popcorn Chicken! It was definitely thigh meat because it was so juicy and tender on the inside. The outer coating was crispy and had that yummy five spice seasoning. This was super addicting! The Takoyaki was equally as delicious. It was my first time trying it, and I loved it. At first bite, I wasn't sure about the gooey inside. The mixture of flavors all kind of grew on me. I've had Japanese mayo mixed with takoyaki sauce before, so I'm no stranger to that. But there was also an extra component that had a smoky fish like taste and texture. I guess they call it Katsuobushi or bonito flakes. That really gave the dish even more flavor. I'd get all of it again in a heartbeat. I kind of wish I had tried the Korean style fried chicken. I'll save that for my next visit. I also saw someone getting a Hong Kong egg waffle. It looked so delicious! That's another item on my list for next time. They have like 5 different flavors of egg waffle (original, matcha, cocoa, seaweed pork sung, and peach). Korean fried chicken and boba. Is there anything better? We showed up for an afternoon snack. We ordered: a colorful fruit green tea, a mango mojito, a brown sugar milk bubble tea, a small order of boneless Korean fried chicken (the "good" KFC), the fried French toast strips, a matcha red bean egg waffle, and tiramisu. The drinks came out first, and then everything trickled out from the kitchen. The drinks were good. I always order 50% sweet, and I was glad I did, because I think I could have gone even less sweet without my kids noticing. I liked how fresh and also how ripe all the fruit in the drinks were. All of the food was excellent. I was expecting a small order of chicken nuggets seasoned with soy ginger, so I was surprised to receive a huge box of perfectly crispy and well-seasoned fried boneless chicken thighs. (If you're just wanting a snack, get the chicken sandwich instead.) We ate a crazy amount of food that afternoon, and we still had half the chicken to take home (surprisingly, despite the sauce, they heat up well in the air fryer). The fried French toast strips, served with sweetened condensed milk for dipping sauce, were awesome. The egg waffle was very good and definitely not sweet. I actually wish that they offered ice cream or even whipped cream to go with the egg waffles as they are so unsweetened, but they were good. I haven't tried the tiramisu yet (I only ordered it because my daughter was demanding cake, and I wasn't sure that the French toast sticks would fly -- they did). Even though you can eat there, they pack everything in to-go containers, so we after we stuffed ourselves full, we easily took the rest of the chicken, the untouched tiramisu, and half of the egg waffle home. Food is all made to order, so be prepared to wait 20+ minutes for it, but at least the drinks come out quickly. Staff is perfunctory but competent. The inside of the shop is very clean and neat. There's plenty of parking outside, although I rather dislike the shopping mall (it's the one that also houses Yummy Chicken). All in all, this is a great place for a variety of Asian snack food. Tsaocaa is a fun little place (part of a national chain) for yummy korean street style snack and delicious tea and bubble tea drinks. The word Tasocaa in chinese means "A Holly Land of Tea". Their brand prides itself offering "affordable way to grab to-go tea drinks with premium tea leaves and the freshest fruit ingredients that are healthy and look fashionable!". I found this part of their brand message right on point along with some bonus surprises. They offer a wide variety of tea based drinks - fruit teas, fresh brewed tea, milk tea slush, bubble tea, mixed tea. They offer a dizzying variety of team items on their menu and for a first time this can be a bit intimidating. The staff at the small order counter were very kind to offer me suggestions that led me to pick : Passion Fruit and Lime Green Tea for a refreshing citrus taste. Their menu doesn't list all the ingredients in this drink but it had chunks of fresh citrus fruits with a tangy sweet taste. Every sip of this drink were satisfying through to the end. My spicy popcorn chicken were served warm with each piece packed with flavorful taste with a spicy finish. These paired quite nicely with my slightly sweet Pork Sung and Seaweed Egg Waffle. Both these items to me, were meant to be had together where a bite of the waffle acts nicely to subdue the spice kick after every few pieces of the spicy popcorn chicken. The waffle has a very subtle hint of pork sung (which add the slightly sweet taste) and seaweed adds a very distant hint. The waffle is served in a visually appealing way half wrapped inside its container and the bubble shapes act as easy single bit sizes to tear off. Tsaocaa has a cozy, comfortable, and spotlessly clean seating area and is meant to be a quick stop for these snacks and drinks . Bring in some friends or stop by when you get the hankering for some delicious tasty snacks. You won't regret it. Unique drinks flavors, really good food. Fruit drinks are better here than the milk drinks. I liked the flavor of the Lychee Greeen Tea with Crystal Pearl and milk foam. Crystal pearl is more like jello and not chewy or as sweet compared to traditional tapioca/boba. The Tara milk green tea with Bubble was below average in taste, I would not get this again, it tasted like they put way much taro, not enough milk. The drinks are made very fast, they have about 4-5 people working on drink orders. We really like the food but be prepared for about 15-20min wait. The wings are juicy and meaty, and I highly recommend them, we got 2 orders with different flavors, the SOY GARLIC flavor is definitely better and stronger flavor than the Honey Garlic. So glad there's much better boba shops popping up in Tampa. I came for the grand opening weekend and got the BOGO deal. Yes, I had both bobas for myself lol. I ordered the Peach Iced Tea with Cream and Crystal Boba and added peach jelly to it. I also got the Jasmine Green Milk Tea with boba and the Spicy Popcorn chicken. My Jasmine Milk Tea didn't have as much tea flavor as I would like, but I quite enjoyed my peach tea which was actually more like a slush. The popcorn chicken took some time to come out, but that was because it was made fresh and crispy. It was probably my favorite thing I ordered, and I hope to try their fried chicken next. An important note to know is that a lot of the drinks have default toppings- I didn't know this and my peach drink came with cream and crystal boba though I didn't expect.
