After paying too much, we reviewed the online prices and yes, we were overcharged by about two dollars. Unfortunately, they did not even bother to give us a receipt, but now we know why! We have been to Mogio's at least a dozen times. It gets worse with every visit and we have finally decided to not return. At first it was tasty and there was not much competition in Murphy. The quality and quantity have declined. Our final pizza was very dry and had very little cheese, even though we paid for extra cheese. We had 8 toppings including the "extra" cheese, but there was very little of anything. The crust is too thin, the sauce is too sparse and under seasoned, the toppings are not evenly distributed and I am not sure one of them was even on there, come to think of it. PS when you put fresh basil on food, it should be the last thing added before the food is delivered to the table, so that it still has a nice green color and tastes like basil. Instead, you baked it and turned it dark brown and flavorless... and still thought it was worth an additional $1.50? Not! With one bite, we knew this would be our last trip to Mogio's. But we stayed and ate, since we had already (over)paid for the meal. A nearby table was overheard asking an employee if they could please get their salads before the pizza arrived. The manager seems to have forgotten them, and was busy sitting in the dining room taking care of paperwork, not paying any attention to the customers. Soon after those people finally got their salads, their pizza arrived. As we were waiting, I noticed how gummy the edge of the table was, so I took a napkin and got it wet with water and rubbed the edge of the table. You should try it, you will not believe how much filth has collected over time on the edge of the table and apparently Mogio's thinks wiping off the tops with a damp cloth is sufficient. You could scrape off buckets of grime, probably a combination of food, oils from sweaty and dirty arms, baby spit and heaven only knows what else. Mogio: if you insist on having a wooden table border, please clean it once in a while! A little Murphy's oil soap and a bristle brush would work wonders. GROSS! And ask your staff to try to look a little more professional. Shorts may be okay, but shorts that have been cut off with a pair of scissors, with fabric and threads hanging down just looks sloppy. It's okay if your patrons look like they just came from a day at the lake or park, but don't you think you should have a staff who looks like they actually work in a restaurant? There are other pizza places nearby that have better pizza, lower prices, and don't overcharge. The best thing about Mogio's Pizza is they let you carry in your own booze. The more you bring with you the better they will look, and the better the food will taste...I assume that is what Mogio's is going for.... read more

I came back to Mogios and the owner came back from Italy and he made this restaurant way better and ingredients are amazingly better. Wow! Salads are good and pizza is amazing especially the crust and the high quality. But people can request things like less cheese or more or maybe like more sauce or less and also request thin or thick crust. The place has a wonderful look to it and it has free wifi. The service was amazingly nice and loved to help with everything. They improved service and staff by a bunch now. I would defiantly recommend now because the owner is back and staff is who derful. Our family has been going to Mogio's Gourmet Pizza for many years now. This is my first review, well overdue. Consistently this pizza house delivers a great pizza as well as other Italian dishes. It was the first place the entire family agreed upon since some had to be gluten free and others did not. Mogio's understands the need for special handling of gluten free pizza and avoiding cross contamination. And they also have great regular pizza for the rest of the family, Tonight, I tried the new Keto cauliflower crust tonight (gluten free too) and it had a great texture and flavor! Good stuff! All the employees were very nice and friendly but, the one that stood out the most was an employee named Odai. He is very patient and helped me a lot. Odai clearly knows what he is doing and I am very impressed with the customer service here at Mogio's Gourmet Pizza. Not only the customer service but the food itself I was satisfied with! Stopped at the new Sachse location yesterday to pick up pizza to go. The gentleman that helped me was most probably the manager or owner of this store. Received some of the best service I have encountered anywhere. Very refreshing. Pizza turned out to be delicious. Fresh and full of flavor. Gluten-free crust was thin, crispy and tasty. My boys loved the Rustica on the regular crust. Will definitely be back soon. read more

Really good pizza and excellent service. I accidently gave the wrong house number on our delivery order. Our neighbor took the order so the driver didn't realize anything was amiss. We called to ask where our delivery was and they apologized and explained what happened. Made another quickly and brought it right out to us. Stopped in for lunch today. Lots of offering on their lunch special. I settled on the chicken Parmesan sandwich. Perfectly toasted bread with large portion of delicious chicken, sauce and cheese. The lunch special comes with a salad. The salad I chose was a fresh, crisp Greek salad. Everything was spot on and the counter service was nice. I will definitely be back. read more

Mogio's surprises me every time. It's like no other pizza I've ever had. The selections of pizza they offer seem so unique to me. They seem creative but brilliant. And the cheese is so darn good! I was working in Plano, Texas last weekend and stopped in with some friends for dinner. The pizza was incredible, and Mo's chicken pasta was the best I've had in quite some time! I ordered an extra large meat pizza with thick crust for our office and every single one of them loved it, it was really great pizza full of toppings I mean they were not cheap on toppings at all they filled it up which is that's a big plus for us, very soft dough cooked just right, I love it I will get it again. read more
