I went here in 2022 when I was first getting into photography. I bought a canon R7 at more than market price. The sales people convinced me it was a good deal and even offered to 'throw in' a free camera bag. I overpaid by about $250 and got a camera bag that didn't even fit my camera (small carrying pouch really). I think about how bad they ripped me off and how pushy they were that I had to make the purchase right then and there. I admit I should've done more research, but the sales team has left me thinking about this interaction for years.

Amazing staff, extremely happy with my recent purchase. I had boughten a laptop, but I wasn't satisfied with it originally. I went back and I had 7 days to exchange (pre-owned only) they didn't give me a hassle and provided a smooth process for me to get another one I desired. One of the very few places opened on a Sunday . Store - Pretty cool little shop that offers multiple services. Services - They do repairs here and have a decent stock on cameras, computer stuff and others. Service - The employees here are very nice, they actually take the time to go over products and provide you with information. Prices - Everything is pretty much sold at Retail value and they promote financing. Overall good experience.

This my second time purchasing from this Merchant and both times I have been impressed with the level of service I received. I had already bought a MacBook Air and Iphone X. This time I went in to purchase an Iwatch and Airpods. Process was smooth as can be and once again I financed through another one of their no credit check providers. Who's lost their MOJO?! Well I did. I was so frustrated not having an updated Mac with Yosemite.. So tired of being told not enough storage space... Or how about ITunes not being able to download newest update?! I found these guys on Yelp..and passed their finance plan in 30 sec flat. They were super helpful, and patient with my not so updated MAC brain...explaining all about the flash drives and such. They not only helped me find "my MOJO" they even threw in a freebie! Nothing but great things to say about Tony and his staff. I found this gem by accident one day and it has become my favorite store. I have purchased a couple things from here and they've always been so great with helping me find what is most suitable for my needs as a Photographer. I recently purchased a tripod and thought I was given the wrong piece, but it was totally my fault. Tony was great per usual and we got a chuckle out of my silly mistake. We initially came here looking to find a computer for the house but theu have such great prices and so many payment options. We ended up leaving with a mac air and an amazingly priced desktop. I literally drove 3 hours to come here. I was a little nervous because of the prices advertise, however dealing with Tony, Leo and Mike they made sure I had the best MacBook Air. Pricing was good and they took very good care of me. They have good payment plans and whatever price range your working with, they will find a computer that's within that range. I stumbled upon this place from searching some lenses on OfferUp. After seeing some selections of lenses I was in the market for, I decided to go and check them out for myself. I was greeted by Tony and he was very patient with me and also highly suggestive. He knew his stuff. I was in the market for a 35mm canon lens and I ended up going with a Sigma Art lens. The reason why I recommend this place to my friends is because the convenience of the payment option. It doesn't matter what credit you have. Just prove you have income and you can possibly get approved for their 3 month no interest option. Let's face it, photography is an expensive hobby and profession. It definitely helps to have a business meet you half way with allowing installments to be made as you upgrade. They carry almost anything and everything in electronics. What are you talking about? The homeless person wasn't asking me for money. You are ridiculous to accuse me of lying. I told you I wanted the 90D and you kept telling me you'd only give me a deal on the 80D. You never even mentioned that they are both on sale for 100 off. You sound so ridiculous I'm surprised anyone would believe you. Look at your own store at least own up to your messy mistakes and bad customer service. I Didn't apply with my credit!!! There's no way to be denied from a non credit application, you just wanted me to put 500 down and I refused. I was not harassed for money, but your attitude shows how much you don't know what's going on and how you treat people. I had asked them to help me decide between the lenses not the camera. Get your facts straight. Your employees are lying to you! No worries, I have seen this before and it's your shady business. I literally could care less. I won't be recommending this place to anyone. read more

This is an update to my previous review. After using the MacBook Air sold to me by Mo for about a year, I opted to do a fresh install. As I was setting up the MacBook, I get hit with the device being under Apple's 'DEP' and for me to contact 'Kipp Bay Area Schools'. For any of you who are unaware of 'DEP', it is basically Apple's device enrollment program for schools or organizations to protect their purchased laptops or Apple products. Update (11/10): Mike has reached out to me regarding my MacBook being registered to a school and is working with me to have the laptop unregistered from the school. I am hoping this will be resolved as soon as possible, I will be updating the review to better reflect the customer service once this is all resolved. read more

Was in the market for a used iMac -- didn't want to spend more than $700 and wanted something that was worth my money. Was surprised at the condition and price that some of these other used places try to resell these things at -- it's borderline criminal! But, from moment one, right when I rang Mojo Computers, they told me "we'll take care of you." It sounded good, so decided to give them a shot at my business. Let me tell you, they did NOT disappoint. They had a great selection and I got an iMac that is in great shape that I feel fantastic about -- walked out the door having spent $650. They gave me a free keyboard and mouse, too (it's the little things, am I right?). Mike and his team were especially cool. Usually at these places you get a bunch of guys with neck beards and you feel like you're really causing an inconvenience to their Dungeons and Dragons game when you walk through the door, but Mike and his crew were really professional and I could tell right away that they valued the customer. They gave me a GREAT deal and even carried my iMac out to my car for me -- and I was parked pretty far away, might I add. Can't recommend Mojo Computers enough. Stop here first if you're in the market for high quality refurbished (and even in some cases brand new) Mac products. Thanks, Mojo! As a small business owner, I'll definitely be back. read more

WASTE OF MONEY!!! DON'T RECOMMEND!!!Laptop wasn't not repaired as they said it was. Still having the same problems, when I called they put me on hold for 5 minutes no response. Waste of money and now need to go elsewhere. So as you read the comment below Customer Service clearly isn't a priority for this business. A response like that shows your lack of empathy for not the most ideal interaction with your business, just sayin... and yes I post negative interaction I've had with a business so that other people could avoid people such as yourself. And in the years I've had my account with yelp there are a few. But I'm sure businesses like yours liked when us customers couldn't hold dishonest businesses such as yourselves accountable. Get a clue and learn how to respond to feedback to your business. Smh.... read more

Came across this awesome little shop while i was looking around for an insta 360 camera. I gave them a call because I was about 50 min away but the shop was closing in 25. They happily stayed open for me and waited even though i took longer then 50 min. Within a week of getting my screen replaced here, I still had the issues where any characters that I pressed on the keyboard would get stuck, have a delayed response, or be off track. What a waste of money. I ended up having to buy a new iphone today. Had I known your services wouldn't work, I would have skipped the extra expense and bought a new iphone the day I visited you.

They are selling products that are not legal to be sold and they are misleading consumers into purchasing "custom built" computers. The computers are all under 1 volume Windows license and ripe with used motherboards and lazy cable management. The moment you walk out of the store they can shut down your windows license so they can apply it to another machine and scam another person. Luckily, my license lasted for a few months before they did this to me. When I contacted Windows they advised me what this shop is doing. Avoid them, its not worth the headache. Also, just in case you were curious how they responded when I reached out to them regarding what had happened with my license below is the response I got FROM THEM. I will also be putting proof that it came from their email. I also love how Kayla gave me some Apple product trivia. An example would be that I mistakenly thought someone's phone number in the notes was about to be misused by a creepy stranger, but Kayla told me that it's a sample number created by Apple. She was also transparent on me on when the IPad Air M4 and the 17e release dates. She told me that they'll be arriving to the Apple store in-person next week on Wednesday.

My husband and I had purchased a Macbook Air in 2014 from Best Buy for him to use for work. A year later it stopped working and would not charge. I then took it to the Genius Bar (they aren't geniuses, far from it), and they told me that there was water damage (somehow) and that the motherboard was completely fried. They estimated the cost to fix it would be $700 or more! We paid $1000 for the thing so we were't about to put that much into a computer that was only worth $1000. However, there were hundreds of photos and documents that couldn't be replaced and we needed to get them back. I researched places that were knowledgeable in Mac product repair and found Mojo Computers. Originally I was skeptical, but the high yelp reviews and many happy customers made me take a chance, and boy am I glad I did!! We went in to buy a new Air so we could switch out the SSD and basically have our computer back. We planned to part out our "totaled" Air to recoup some of the loss. But when we got there the staff was friendly and understanding and suggested a Macbook Pro. At first we said no because we knew how much those costed but the gentleman explained to us that the Pro would be considerably cheaper than a new one from Best Buy and only a few hundred more than the Air we were looking at. It also included upgraded memory and processing. He even offered to throw in the Microsoft Office bundle for $150! Which is HALF the price of buying it online. And this is something my husband really needs for work. Through small talk and joking around they offered to run diagnostics on the broken Air for $25 and if they could fix it, the $25 would be put towards the repair. We were also given a free case and keyboard protector because it was my husband's birthday! And they gave us a HUGE military discount as well! They called a few days later and said that they were able to fix the macbook Air and that it was only $350!! Not the $700 the "geniuses" has quoted me on! And to top it off, they took off another $50 from that just because they appreciated our business and because they genuinely care about their customers and their satisfaction! So for around $1800 we got a fully loaded Macbook Pro with upgraded memory and processing, along with our old Macbook Air repaired! PLUS, they gave me a FREE case for the Air and a keyboard cover! All of this is under warranty as well!! The financing was VERY easy and took around 5 minutes. I have recommended this store to all my neighbors and I will continue to recommend it to any one I meet! It is about a 45 min drive from out house but it was well worth it for the quality of customer service and care. They pride themselves on top-shelf products and even better customer satisfaction! I will return any time I need computer help! Thank you guys so much! I can't tell you how much I appreciate all you did for us! I walked into m computers my first time looking to buy a camera for my personal media use/ vlogging. After doing extension research I decided on getting a Canon M50 which met my budget and needs of use. The best price I could find was MOJOS computers. I had the option of going to bestbuy and using my credit if needed, but mojos beat Best Buy's price (675$) plus taxes I paid 550$ at mojos out the door, with taxes included and 3 month warranty!!! Everything was NEW and perfect! I use the camera EVERYDAY and have not had a single problem! Absolutely love the camera! I returned months later for a laptop. I was looking for an Apple MacBook because I love the reliability and quality of them. After looking at a few options( Not all are refurbished, I seen a new MacBook that had AppleCare care for 3 years still) I landed on getting a 2015 MacBook Pro 13 in Retina display with an icore 5 processor for 900$! I could have gotten this same laptop for 700$ however this one was FLAWLESS in use and cosmetic appearance! I chose to go with there payment plan with 50$ down and I have absolutely no regrets! I use the laptop everyday for photo editing and it meets all my expectations! If I could only complain and find one thing wrong with the laptop it would be that I noticed when turning the volume up, the sound it makes is different from the original sound an Apple laptop would make. But it is not a deal breaker for me. I think a lot of the bad reviews come from people not being able to pay off the payment plan in 3 months. Afterwards you pay interest, which is common with anything. Interests is double the item you pay for. Just make bigger payments and you'll be fine...they're letting you walk out with electronics that cost hundreds of dollars with just 50 down. Can't beat that. I would definitely recommend mojos to any of my friends for Apple products and camera gear! They definitely have a huge variety! UPDATE: Needed to UPGRADE my Camera as the original I purchased no longer met my requirements & the first place I thought to go was MOJOS. Walked out with my NEW Canon 90D with a returning customer discount & lowest price available ( beat the competition) GREAT Tech Store! read more

All the previous reviews are what got me into the store today. Everyone there is super friendly and honest. Honesty is what got me to buy my new MacBack! I'm using it right now to leave this review. :) Upon entering I was immediately greeted and made to feel comfortable. I was in the market to throw out my cheap laptop and invest in a MacBook. I was recently promoted and wanted something fast, reliable and cool. Moe was a cool dude. He helped me and was patient with all my beginner questions. The reason I decided to get a refurbished one and not fork out money for a brand new one is because this was my first one. I wanted to experiment with it to see if I even like it. I got a 2013 model with all the specs I needed and then some. I hate making decisions (again Moe was really patient) Moe helped me make my choice. I'm pretty confident it was the right one. I'm really stoked on it! Although I could have paid for it all up front. I decided to pay half cash and finance the rest. All the other reviews are right and even Moe agreed the financing has crazy high finance charges. But, if you pay it off in 90 days you're golden. That's what I am doing. Moe even helped me figure out all the finance fees and what my payment would be. Definitely recommend Mojo Computers if you're looking for a deal! Ps. Here's the thing with these guys: They want you to have the computer of your dreams. If you know what you want, they will work with you to make sure you walk out the door with it. Now, with that being said, don't come here if you're not serious about paying your bill, becausevthese guys will hook you up, but their financing (which is very fair) is no joke. Essentially, you have 90 days to pay off your device. You can do it all at once, or little by little, but don't mess around, because after 90 days you will end up accruing 100% interest and paying double for your device. If you've got a steady job and you're serious about paying your bill, this is the place. I walked in and spoke to a very knowledgeable gentleman (I'm sorry bro, I can't remember your name) who showed me two Macbooks that had the computing power I was looking for (16gb RAM and upgradeable hard drive.) The price was kind of steep, so Mike came over and talked to me a bit about my options. He worked with me and helped me get a weekly payment that I was comfortable with, and I walked out the door with the perfect laptop. They were never pushy or condescending, very patient and helped me out tremendously. There's no way I could have paid cash for something like this, but their financing option saved my skin. ANYONE WHO WRITES A BAD REVIEW DOESN'T KNOW WHAT THEIR TALKING ABOUT, ARROGANT AND SIMPLY CAN'T BE PLEASED. This company is friendly, knowledgable, and transparent. They were quick to pick up the phone, honest with me, and gave me options PLUS and their exchange/warranty policies are on point with every other heavy hitter electronics store. Their prices are right their with anything you'll find on Craigslist or Ebay except with them you get the guarantee, the support, and a pleasant interaction with people who know what their doing. Writing this review from my refurbished 2010 MacBook Pro and it runs perfect and as expected. I got a case with it and tho it comes with a used charger, these guys hooked me up with a brand new one and that may seem significant to some but little things like that are the kinds of business practices that win over customer loyalty. It's hard to find these days in independant shops and you'll NEVER see that at a major store. They also have a good selection of photography equipment and gear, which I loved and will definitely go to them for my next photo purchase. Follow Up Review: After traveling to Mojo on Sunday morning and getting my hands on a MacBook Pro only to realize the keyboard was coming apart and the computer being slow I had wrote a review of how upset I was given the fact that for my birthday I purchased a MacBook that wasn't in good quality. I called and spoke with Leo who was the guy who attended and apologized and told me he'd inform his manager, Mike. This morning I went in to settle this and right off the bat Mike apologized for the inconvenience of not only getting a MacBook Pro that didn't meet their standards but apologized for making me commute from Pasadena all the way to them twice. I can say with great satisfaction that Mike took care of me. Not only did he give me a newer MacBook Pro but he also gave me a case, a bag to carry my Mac and a USB to USB-C adapter and extended my warranty on my Mac ! I've never felt more taken care of by a business than how Mike did towards me. I appreciated the effort he put it into making this right and ultimately making it up to me for my birthday...will definitely tell my friends and family and will refer anyone I know in the market to Mojo. We have recently purchased an IMac computer from Mojo computers and we have to say we are extremely satisfied with our purchase. EVERYONE there was very welcoming, helpful and very respectful. Wow! I was completly blown away with Mojo Computers. I walked in and was immediately greeted by Leo Moreno. He was fantastic. I knew I wanted a Mac Book Pro, but wasn't sure the size or year or anything really. Leo showed me the Pro's and walked me through the specs of each one, he even showed me the Airs, just to compare the weight - I carry my laptop everywhere. I was sold instantly. There's a scratch on the top of the laptop, but they hooked me up and not only knocked $100 bucks off the price but also gave me a slick clip on case FOR FREE. As I was checking out, the owner came up to me and congratulated me on my exciting new purchase. He told me to check in on yelp and included a carrying case JUST FOR CHECKING IN! - and extended the warranty - SO COOL. These guys were seriorusly so cool and nice. Highly competent, professional, with excellent after sales service support, and very friendly to deal with. My wife was looking for a second hand computer at Craigs' list and we came across Mojo Computers. After viewing several private sales opportunities we visited Mojo Computers and Mike helped us pick a refurbished iMac and offered us a 1 year Warranty at the same price as we have seen in private sales. After a month and a half following heavy use the iMac was freezing due to corrupt files created during unsuccessful software downloads and improper use by my wife and my son. I brought in the iMac to MOJO Computers and they replaced the Hard Drive free of charge (although the old one was in good shape) and reinstalled all the software, and the computer was ready for pick-up within 24Hrs. Buying the refurbished iMac from MOJO Computers proved to be the best decision when compared to private sales not only because of the good purchase price but mostly because of the after sales excellent service support. Just came I again and got a great laptop at a fantastic price. This is my go-to computer store. I came back now again for the 4th time. The service is always professional, the prices are great, and the warranty is solid. Looking forward to the 5th time back. Always a safe place to get quality used macs. I have a video production company. I went in to Mojo Computers looking for 27 inch iMac quad core i7 with a lot of RAM and a large hard drive. Mojo Computers is a great place to buy used and slightly new computers especially if you are on a budget and can't afford to front the cost of a brand new Macbook Pro. Their service was friendly and their credit approval was fast and hassle free. This was my first time buying from a store that I was unfamiliar with so I was a little apprehensive. I generally buy computers from the Apple Store or Fry's Electronics. I ended up buying a used Macbook Pro but realized that there was a small cosmetic flaw on the side of the screen lid so I called about it (because I like my computers without blemishes). This was near the end of the Store's 7 Day exchange policy so they extended it for me to come in to the store and exchange it for a better and faster one. Leo, Moe, and Mike were very helpful. I had an unsatisfactory experience with Mojo Computers in Santa Ana, which utilizes Acima as its financing partner. I was sold a camera that was defective at the time of purchase, an issue (dead pixels) that I believe was known to the seller. Surprisingly good experience. Location (neighborhood) is sketchy, and the Eastern European guys standing around out front smoking cigarettes adds to the shady vibe, but when you walk in, that all fades away and there's tons of glorious Apple eye candy to entice you. I was very impressed with the selection of Mac related products to choose from, and we walked away with a very up to date MacBook Pro with 2 years of AppleCare still on the device. It's theoretically refurbished, but the machines we saw were all physically flawless, and our MBP has been worked hard all weekend after purchase and it's perfect. They even had iPhone 7 Plus's in stock, and not even Apple or AT&T or BestBuy has those! This was a great place to get the best possible MacBook Pro (not the crappy new Touchbar version) at a terrific price compared to what it would have cost at the Apple store. Everyone was super helpful and cheerful to work with. The experience was very positive and enjoyable....once we got in the door. read more

Just purchased a macbook pro from here and I had an amazing experience working with Mo and Mike. These guys know what they're doing and will definitely give you the best possible deal that you can find. All of the laptops at the store are used but don't be turned away by that label...they are tested over and over for quality and run in like new condition.The inventory is always changing so make sure you call the store to see what they have before you come in. It seems like they always have a constant stock of macbooks, but there are also a bunch of different desktops from other companies. The store will even install software and offer a 6 month store warranty for your computer. I've spent big cash at the apple store or buying computers off sketchy craigslist deals and I have to say that I saved so much money buying my laptop here. The guys are open to negotiating a good deal. I highly recommend stopping by Mojo before you think about making a serious purchase anywhere else! read more

Big thanks and salute to Tony and the MOJO team for their top notch customer service, making sure I left the store happy! I came in to inquire about getting an iPhone upgrade. I am a customer with T-Mobile and after 2 years of owning my iPhone 7 Plus, I never got a chance to upgrade because of the huge down payment they want from me if I wanted to upgrade! So I came here, paid a cheaper down payment for an iPhone XR! Big up to the MOJO team! Walked into Mojo with the mindset that I was just gonna check it out, look around and see what kind of photo/video gear they offered. What I wasn't expecting was to be walking out about 45min later owning some amazing gear, Rokinon 14mm f2.8, Rokinon 85mm f1.4 (Both are lenses for my Sony A7iii) , a PM Polar Pro 2-5 Stop 77mm Variable ND and a Nanuk 935 case with padded inserts and lid organizer. They got everything any photo/videographer could ever want up in there, cameras, lights, lenses, mics and the list goes on and on. The best part is with mojos awesome financing no Credit check option (3 month, 0% interest $49 down payment) all you need is a bank account an ID. Customer service was as good as it gets, staff was extremely welcoming, knowledgeable and friendly. I will be buying all my photo/video gear here from now on. I came into Mojo Computers after reading a Craigslist add for the Mac Products they have on sale, I came in with a printed add of few laptops they had posted that same day, I requested to see the same items advertised, they were kind enough and very knowledgeable about computers in all aspects. I asked few questions regarding the computers and what I needed for my kids, I walked out of the door with the 2 Mac book pro laptops I saw on the advertisement for my kids, with the money I saved if I would have bought them anywhere else I bought myself an iMac, I love this place and love all the products I got from them they also offer a free gift with any purchase, so I got Covers for the MacBook pro laptops and I know each one is at least $49. and upgraded my keyboard and mouse for my iMac to the new apple keyboard and track pad. bottom line is GO TO MOJO COMPUTERS GET BEST QUALITY AND SAVE MONEY read more

These dudes are super rad!!! Bought a couple iMac's off them in November. I know I must have annoyed the heck out of them asking tons of mac questions for 2+ hours before I made my purchase. They answered every query above and beyond, super knowledgeable staff. It doesn't stop there, guess what, they also have some really competitive pricing with many products still being under their original apple care plans. I was very pleased with my shopping experience and the iMac's have been working great. Until....a few days ago when my 27" iMac screen began to flutter. I had a 3 month warranty that was unfortunately expired. So I brought the machine in (they also have a repair shop) and WOW....what do you know.....they were generous enough to repair my baby FREE OF CHARGE even though my warrant had expired 2 months prior.......They have obviously earned a customer for life. So for the past 4 months I have been looking for a Macbook on craigslist and like amazon and stuff but they were all to expensive or not the right things I wanted on my laptop. So I had bought one on craigslist but the wifi didn't work so i had to resell it and lost a little bit of money but then I went back on and i saw Mojo's on there and was like I don't know about a business on there. So I called and asked about their 90 day same as cash financing, I thought about it and it was down the street from where I live, so I went down. They got really nice almost new computers there, I got a 13" Macbook Pro for almost half the price I would have had to pay if I bought one from Apple themselves. They got me approved with no money down and I have no idea how they did it but I love my new computer and they even threw in a Laptop bag and Microsoft Office 2013!!! My wife needed a new computer now and it seemed PC choices were so-so. I suggested that Macs could run Windows, which caught the ear of my wife. She liked my 27-inch iMac, bought at Mojo Computers, but really needed Windows for her work. Of course the place to go without 2nd thought was Mojo Computers. A call to Mike was wondrous with answers to questions of can it do this and can it do that. No problem was the answer; bring you old computer over. Windows was setup on a very nice 21-inch iMac, memory upgraded and the data was copied over from the old Windows desktop - with a competitive price over similarly equipped Windows desktops! Mike, Leo and Mo - all are awesome. They know the Mac products, have great service and pricing is fair and competitive!! If you need a new computer, drop everything and head to Mojo Computers ASAP. read more
