Mojo Donuts are great! They have a variety of unique flavors and if you're lucky they have a yelp check in deal (on the yelp mobile app) every once in awhile. Love their cardboard box. It's so cute. They have the most plentiful bacon toppings I've ever had on a donut. It was covered with bacon and it made the 45 minute drive worth it. I hope they continue to innovate and expand their donut selections. --- So I wrote the above review in 2014 and they really did continue to innovate! Today, in 2018, I just happened to see them featured on an episode Diners Drive-Ins and Dives with a new concoction: donut brulée filled with fried chicken and cheese sauce. It's only available at the Miami location (not this location) as other yelpers have confirmed. I'm jelly ya'll in Miami get to try this. Had to use my Instagram to figure out when was the first time I went to Mojo Donuts, which was 93 weeks ago. Mojo Donuts was still a baby then, but already making a huge scene in the donut world in South Florida. It's the only gourmet donut shop in the area (Pembroke Pines), so it's definitely one of a kind. I've had friends from Miami come north just to fulfill their donut cravings, so that says a lot. My relationship with Mojo Donuts started out very bitter. The moment I found out about the place, I've attempted to come by twice and in both attempts (visiting at different times), they were sold out of donuts. I was furious! For quite a long period of time, I refused to visit Mojo Donuts because I thought they just never made enough donuts so why bother coming? (I remember coming at 2 pm one time and I thought, "You're really out of donuts midday?!") I gave Mojo Donuts another shot. Success! I had the maple bacon, PB&J, creme brûlée, and the fruity pebble donuts. And to make this first experience even better, the lady stuffed an extra maple bacon donut, free of charge. Okay, Mojo Donuts, I forgive you for the first two terrible times I visited. In the more recent times I've been to Mojo Donuts, I saw this place grow. More customers, more donut flavors. In lieu of their success, the owner was interviewed by Deco Drive (I was coincidentally there the day before Mojo Donuts' "big break," so after I made my purchase, the owner was telling me to watch Deco Drive the next day where they were going to reveal their new donut) and the Deco Delight was born! I've tried both flavors, milk chocolate and white. This donut is a little more expensive than the rest, but it truly is worth it because if you've seen the photos, you can tell how massive that is! It has a little bit of everything -- fruit, chocolate, crunch, sweet, tart, dough, and more. Some donuts are much sweeter than others, and my sweetness threshold is pretty tolerable but to an major extent. I really like dropping by here to get a quick donut fix, and it's also nice that they have a check-in offer! So if you're overwhelmed and you took so long to narrow it down to two donuts and you can't seem to pick one, just check in so you can enjoy BOTH! I do want to add, I've studied here once (thinking, "It's a coffee shop and I can't go wrong snacking on donuts in between chapters,") and it's not exactly the best place to study. I didn't feel comfortable to study here. Could've been the furniture and the lack of outlets for my laptop and charger. I don't really know how to describe it, but I just couldn't not get a proper study grind here. But hey, good donuts! read more

Talk about gourmet donuts, this is where it's at! It competes with voodoo, i would say it's even better. the signature donut with the banana cream is a must. We ordered 3 dozen variety with cronuts and everything was so good and interesting, so many different flavors and toppings, no idea where you guys find the time or inspiration for this stuff but it was awesome to try so many. I have been a happy customer for years at this location. I love their donuts so much. However, their customer service has consistently been rude and today just awful. Instead of taking my order and asking me to wait outside, because I had my dog, she insisted that I leave the store right away and didn't allow me to place my order. When I asked if I could call and place an order over the phone, she maintained her insistence and responded "I guess". When I called, this persons tone didn't seem welcoming to my order, so I just left without my donuts. This is very disappointing, as I've never had an issue with my dog before in placing an order and her attitude tarnished my taste for mojo. read more

Thank God this place is not where I live because I would weigh 500lbs! Holy cow amazing donuts! Talk about creativity, the donut creations here are unique and very tasty. When I walked in I was greeted by a friendly hello and a nice environment. The young lady behind the counter explained to me that all donuts are baked fresh daily and in house. Flavor a change every day and vary in price depending on the toppings. You can get anything from red velvet, strawberry cheesecake, maple bacon to "the stoner" which has potato chips on it! I see the appeal - it is pretty hard to find an interesting gourmet donuts shop like Mojo Donuts in the Miami / Hollywood / Fort Lauderdale area. Where else can you find tiramisu, cookie monster, butter pecan, Fruity Pebbles, salted caramel cheesecake, PB&J, bacon, key lime pie, creme brûlée, and guava & cheese donuts all in one place? To my surprise, Mojo Donuts has a coffee-shop like atmosphere (nice couches and tables). Don't forget to show the Yelp check in deal (buy one donut, get one free donut). Each specialty donut is $1.95 and each gourmet donut is $1.55 (1/2 dozen for $7.99 and a dozen for $14.99). Note - If you want to put one dozen donuts into 2 half dozen boxes, then you will be charged half dozen price. *** Creme brûlée (gourmet, $1.55): It had a layer with caramelized sugar just like creme brûlée and stuffed with cream filling. Caramelized sugar crust wasn't very sweet and overall it was pretty decent with some room for improvement (slightly sweeter and thicker crust). Guava & Cheese (gourmet, $1.55): It had a nice guava jelly on the top. Personally, I like this a bit better than creme brûlée. *** Mojo Donuts is a bit off the way from the South Beach (about 25 miles away), but I think it is still worth a drive and give their donuts a try. My only complaint? Donuts were not warm and fluffy (didn't taste like donuts that just come out from the oven ... to be fair, I did come here at 1 PM and not in the early morning). These are the best donuts in all of Miami!! I promise you that they beat salty donuts. They are extremely delicious and they are cheap. You can't really put a price to the box because they charge you by donut but the donuts are usually no more than like four dollars. This is my favorite donut spot in all of Miami they have a lot of options from chocolate to fruits. And the coffee is great. I suggest you follow them on Instagram though because sometimes their donuts run out and if they run out they stop selling for the day so before going always check Instagram to see if they haven't sold out yet. The best specialty donuts I've ever tasted. My absolute favorite is the gourmet donut. Between the fruits on top, the frosted flakes on the side, and the banana cream (its not a strong banana taste, for those that don't like bananas) in the inside it is absolutely delicious. My favorite donuts all inclusive the white chocolate and they never disappoint. I've had these donuts probably the past year and have always forgotten to make a post about it. Oh, wow. What are awesome spot.There's a reason they are on the top 100 Yelp in the USA. They pretty much only do donuts, and they do them extremely well. The Yelp deal allowed us to get two for the price of one. Two awesome gourmet donuts for $1.50. I got both the Salted Caramel Cheesecake and the Death by Chocolate. Both were Incredible. The fillings were creamy, buttery, and true to their names. The salty caramel flavor really did taste like cheesecake and the chocolate definitely lived up to its name. If I had to pick my favorite, I'd nab the Salted Caramel. It had a more complex flavor profile of Sweet & Salty & Creamy. The Death by Chocolate was good, but contrary to its name, I actually think it could have used more chocolate. Or at least more uses of chocolate, (mousse, shavings, dark, syrup, etc.) Definitely find your way over to Mojo if you can. Mojo donuts is a little donut paradise in Hollywood/Davie area. Although we do not have very many donut places in South Florida, there are certainly some heavy hitters. I consider mojo to be one of the best! While the donuts are certainly not cheap, I think they are well worth it. They have huge selection of delicious donuts. The variety of flavors alone makes it worth a try. They have so many amazing flavors and creative/fun donuts. They also seem to have different flavors every time we go! The signature donut they have is a banana cream filled donut, covered in chocolate, covered with fresh fruit, and then drizzled with more chocolate! This donut is an absolute masterpiece!... and I'm not even a huge fan of banana and I love it... but what I am a huge fan of is Nutella! And they certainly have Nutella. Two of my favorites are the Nutella bacon and the Nutella brûlée.. WOW they are delicious. There are so many delicious options. The bacon bar is also really good. I think any donut you choose will be amazing. Not to mention, the workers are very nice and will always explain the donuts to you! The donuts are pretty unique, the flavors change all the time which is great! It definitely satisfies your sweet tooth with anything you might be craving! Now for the month of October they have pink ribbon donuts in honor of Breast Cancer awareness and they donate $1 for each one of those donuts purchased. So get some, you get to enjoy a yummy donut and something for a good cause as well! Now for the fall they have all types of fall flavors like Pumpkin (one of my faves), cinnamon, maple/ pecan, and etc. I think anyone in south Florida needs to visit Mojo Donuts atleast once!
