I've been visiting this place for the past month now and honestly it's great! There's a wide variety of donuts to choose from, ranging from sweet to savoury! Definitely the place for anyone with major sweet tooth syndrome to visit! If visiting for the first time i'd recommend you try the Strawberry Dream if you're looking to experience an exotic gourmet donut or the regular Chocolate Glazed with Sprinkles if you want to savour the delicious nostalgia aspect of a good donut! Whichever donut you do choose you won't be disappointed! Not only do they offer donuts but as well as a wide variety of drinks. I would have to say that out of all of the donut places that are in South Florida, Mojo Donuts is by far my favorite. All of their donuts are big and fluffy. My boyfriend and I decided to come here after we paid a visit to the doctors office. I wasn't feeling too well and wanted something sweet to cheer me up from my bronchitis. My boyfriend was kind enough to drive us here, when we got here, we thought the place was about to close as it had been close to 6pm but the lovely lady was just tidying up the place instead. Thank goodness! Anyways, as we made our way to the counter, we were awestruck by the beautifully decorated donuts. They had an array of flavours from key lime pie to caramel with white chocolate drizzle. We bought half a dozen of donuts along with some yummy hot chocolate. We loved the flavour combinations of these donuts. The place was nicely decorated as well, it wasn't like your average cosey Starbucks but I loved the fact that there wasn't a lot of people there so it made it seem like my boyfriend and I had the place to ourselves. Since I'm transitioning to a whole foods plant based diet, this may honestly be the last time I'll be here but for you donut lovers out there, come give this place some love, they have some of the best donuts out there! I went here pretty late, given that they close at 4pm. There were signs for mandatory masks on the door as well as mandatory hand sanitizer when you enter. All food places should do this! I was immediately greeted by a cheerful employee upon reaching the counter who asked if I sanitized my hands and then proceeded to ask me if I'd ever been there before. As I had not, she let me know they didn't have as much of a selection as they usually have due to it being within an hour of closing time (Note to first timers: Go Early! They sell out!) I decided upon a plain Cronut and a Valley Girl donut. The cronut was a little slice of heaven. Flaky, crunchy pastry with a slight bit of sweet glaze and covered with powdered sugar, and filled with a delicious custard. Man, as I'm writing this, I'm really wanting another. The Valley Girl wasn't my cup of tea. It was a cake donut covered in chocolate and chocolate chips (think chocolate shell, not chocolate ganache) and topped with a vanilla bean cream. That vanilla cream was incredibly delicious, but I wasn't a fan of the cake donut or the hard chocolate coating. I didn't know what to expect upon arrival, and the strip mall and crowded parking lot had me initially a little apprehensive. However, once inside Mojo, the atmosphere is clearly their own. It feels relaxed and welcoming, even as they are preparing to close for the day. Not a donut love + I'm particular about my sweets translates into, the extent of my experience with Mojo's donuts was 1 gourmet donut called White Death. I L.OV.E. white chocolate, so this was an easy decision - a white chocolate covered donut with cream and a white chocolate drizzle. This has the potential to revolutionize my relationships with donuts, forever. It doesn't. That's not to say that I didn't enjoy the donut, but more that I was underwhelmed with it. For me, it seemed as though the donut and its toppings were 2 separate creations brought together with all the flare and forethought of an arranged marriage. Amazing donuts! They aren't too big compared to other gourmet donut places which I enjoy. My friend and I went in for the first time and Mateo helped us out. He was super friendly and informative! I got a frozen lemonade and 6 donuts for about $20 (including the different types like gourmet, fritter, and fancy). The donuts were fresh, soft, and delicious. We sat after we ordered and other flavors were on their way out of the kitchen so I'd say if you're hoping for a specific one, maybe ask if any more will come out. Because this is possibly the best donut shop I've ever been to. --- --- --- With a staff full of people working all day to pull off an epic event, we needed to keep morale high - what better way to do that, than to bring two dozen donuts for everyone to devour? I'd heard Blue A sing the praises of Mojo for years, and was finally able to see the magic, first hand. SO MAGIC! The biggest problem with getting this many donuts is that I was going to want to try as many possible, but I knew that my stomach would not be able to house like 10 donuts in one sitting. This resulted in me creating a little (actually, nothing little about it) donut flight when I got back to our destination. It would be impossible for me to remember all of the different combinations, but I can definitely speak to the fact that the Maple Bacon donut was at the top of my list. With that being said, none of them were anything short of 5-stars. I've seen donut shops with more variety (Voodoo in Portland) but the quality here was so much higher.
