Gonna start off saying Da Bubs is inside Le Dive. You're probably at the right spot. :) Once you go in, you order at the counter with the bartender who then gives you a number and says find a seat. We waited about 10 minutes for our food (wasn't that busy). Ordered two flavors of wings - signature buff and korasian bbq - and the "I need to grow up" burger with fries. My bf and I ate all of it in like 6 minutes no lie. Soooo good and we eat a lot of food in this category, like a lot. The one bite wings are seriously worth trying. Buff was good but personally liked the bbq more. Don't sleep on the burgers either. It's up there on our list! Portions aren't large but that's honestly perfect for a spot downtown. Def a great spot to start the night with food or end the night with food. I can't wait to eat here again. This place is absolutely in our rotation of spots now. read more

I've added at my review to add a star because I am appreciative of the quick response of the business however, do you think it's important for customers to view both both my reaction and the associates response in order to manage expectations. The service was great! The beer I enjoyed while waiting for my food was good. The burger was OK. It did not live up to the hype from the previous customer. It seemed like I was missing a patty. The chicken seemed mushy may be overcooked. And the fries had a hair in them or some sort of stringy substance (the stringy substance is from the fried corn husk). Okay, so. I really liked the food here!! The menu is very limited, but everything was absolutely delicious. I'm not sure I'd call the wings life changing like some other reviewers, but they were very good- nice crispy skin, a good size, and the buffalo sauce was the perfect balance of spice with a hint of sweetness. The burgers were also great- a true, thin, smashburger with double patties and crispy bits on the edges. Ambiance inside is really cool. I love the decor, the colors, the artwork, and the way it has kind of an upscale dive bar feel. All of that said- we were very confused when we got here. We're not locals, and when we arrived we weren't sure we were even in the right spot. There was no Da Bubs signage outside, and nobody greeting customers, giving direction, or seating people- there wasn't even a sign inside to indicate whether we were supposed to seat ourselves. There was *one* ordering station for food with a long line that was moving realllyyyy slowly. That poor guy was trying to do food orders and drinks at the same time, and it seemed difficult for him to keep up. After a few confused minutes of checking outside, then inside, then Google to make sure we were at the right location, I realized Da Bubs is inside/the same spot as Le Dive Bar- and there is another bar upstairs (the name escapes me) that you have to go through the restaurant to get to. Better signage for all 3 spots outside would be appreciated! Our burgers took a while to come out, and when they did, the wings didn't come with them. I waited a few before I realized that the waitress had taken our number from the table- which meant they may not be on their way... so I tried to hunt someone down to ask whether the wings were coming. There was nobody available. The bartender was extremely busy between both food and drink orders, and the waitress had disappeared into the kitchen to chat with the cooks. I stood at the end of the bar trying to grab someone's attention for about 10 minutes before she came back out. Sure enough, the wings had been missed. By the time they brought them out, we were done with our burgers. I ended up taking most of them to go since we'd already been there quite a while. Overall, A+ on the food, the decor and ambiance. Picked this place at complete random off of a small list that would be acceptable to my friend who is a picky eater. Was sat immediately as the place was empty. The decor looks like a combo bar tattoo shop run by eccentric martians. Ordered a nitro espresso martini, Marty burger, and foccacia bites. Everything was fantastic. The smashburger may have been the best smashburger I've ever had. The sauce was weird and a perfect balance to an incredibly crispy smash burger. The fries were extra crispy and perfectly seasoned. And the foccacia bites had a very unique garlic Caesar dip that I loved. The cocktail was also very good and strong, and everything was very reasonably priced. Cannot recommend this place enough. My husband and I went to Le Dive/Da Bubs in downtown Raleigh for a casual date night and we loved it! It has perfect upscale dive bar energy. The atmosphere is so cute and great for a date night or a girls night out. They even have a cute little photo booth. The staff was super nice as well. We ordered Da Marty burger and the One Bite Wings, and both were only $10 (which is amazing). Everything was so good and way above what you'd expect at that price. We're already dying to go back and try more off the menu. We also grabbed Da Shredder pizza to go and it was delicious. For drinks, I had an espresso martini and my husband had a beer. Overall, the pricing across the board was great, especially for downtown. We'll definitely be making this a regular spot for us and would absolutely recommend it. read more

This was the best wings and Fries we've had in Raleigh, and we try a wide variety of local, unique to Raleigh, foodie suggestions. The one time I'd suggest to pay extra for all flats if that's your thing. The flats are one bite, crispy & juicy. Wife got the Blueberry smoke variety. Looked like a Goth girl after eating. She was stuck with a basic Buffalo+blue ranch partner. I'd only used "Blue ranch" at home before finding this place. It is exactly what is sounds like.... Ranch dressing with Blue cheese crumbles. I highly recommend this place!! The service is super quick, the people are so nice, and the food is absolutely delicious, and the prices are so affordable. Great for a quick lunch or hanging out for dinner. More in-depth... I have to say these are the best wings I've ever had! (and yes I've been to Buffalo) Being able to eat them cleanly and in one bite is such a game-changer for me since my biggest gripe with eating wings is how messy and annoying they are with trying to get all the meat off. The pizza and smash burgers are amazing as well. I don't normally enjoy Detroit style pizza, but the focaccia pizza is so light and airy but still keeps that nice crunch to it, that it has kind of converted me. Da Fox Shroomie pizza is my favorite, the flavor is on point with the Hen of the Woods Mushrooms and the chili crisp on top! The smash burgers are also legitimately "smashed". They get that nice caramelized edge that I want in a smash burger. Da Marty is chefs kiss with the Muenster cheese, caramelized onions, and a horsey cream sauce on it. So freaking delicious! Saw on TikTok. Home of the famous one bite wings. They looked delightful so I had to try. Went on Sunday after church. The place is sort of a dive, hence its subtitle, Le Dive. ‍. It's pretty dark inside but seating is plentiful. It's a bar and a restaurant and located in downtown Raleigh. Parking can be difficult. The one bite wings are made with a French technique of removing the sinewy parts. They were delicious. Fried perfectly crispy with flavorful buffalo sauce. They serve them with a ranch blue cheese mix which is delicious as well. I also had the seasoned French fries fried in beef tallow. Again super crispy on the outside and hot and delicious. The food was a 10/10. Service 10/10. I'll definitely be back for the focaccia pizza and the authentic smash burgers. They looked delicious even though I didn't try them. I really want to gate keep this place but won't. But yall stay out my way when I visit. Okay? Oh. One more thing for the owners. Get a marketing person. Seriously Da Bubs doesn't tell me what I'm getting. Then you have a dog with a chefs hat as the face of the brand. At first thought it was a place that sold quality dog food. I kid you not. This is such a cool place! Plenty of seating inside and very spacious. The food was Da Bomb and carnivore friendly. I had wings, delicious and fell right off the bone and bonus points for fried in beef tallow. You can order burger patties with or without cheese à la cart which a lot of places won't do or they will charge you full price. The owners are super nice and very accommodating. Highly recommended for anyone in the area and it's a short and easy walk from the convention center. read more
