This cafe is amazing. From the food, especially the sandwiches, to the atmosphere. Best scones I have ever tried. Just the perfect cafe! But.. as a coffee shop, you guys make horrible coffee. It's always so burnt and the espresso tastes like hotel drip coffee. Living around the corner I come here often and being the only coffee shop in west Roseville it's really disappointing. I have recommended this place to many people still but everyone complained about the coffee. Really hope you guys hire a barista or someone to teach the others how to make a good espresso. The snickerdoodle latte is my go to! Iced or hot you really can't go wrong. I've got a sweet tooth so I couldn't turn down the huge cinnamon roll in their display. They offered to warm it up and it was delicious! They offer indoor & outdoor seating however, many of their tables are not shaded. This did leave us sitting the sun and feeling a bit uncomfortable in the warm days we've been having in the area. More shade would be fantastic. read more

Everytime my cousin is in town, he wants to come here in the morning to hang out and enjoy some of their house coffee. When he is not here visiting, I don't come. Here's why... He's opening up his own coffee shop where he lives in Seattle. So he visits different coffee houses wherever he visits. He likes the vibe here. I agree, I actually am digging the vibe too, but by vibe I mean environment. It's at a great location , inside is spacious, plenty of tables and large tables to accommodate large parties, decor is simple and fun with a few neat knick knacks to purchase. They have a separate area towards the back where they also serve ice cream. This, and my fave part is their big outdoor patio area. That's where I like to hang out, have my coffee, also DOG-FRIENDLY. We've been here on a weekend where they also had one of the middle school students come and perform and sing. That vibe I'm describing is awesome. Now, service is a whole other vibe on its own. Every.. single.. time , every single time I have come here, and it's not just one staff, it's all. Not pleasant, not welcoming, looking like they're struggling to put on a smile, like they need to have coffee themselves. Not fun or pleasant at all. Like robots , take order and that's it, awkward silence, even irritable. I can base it on one staff or one given day, because it's something I've noticed every time I come. Another, and most importantly, is the coffee. Slightly above mediocre at best. It's just not doing it for me. I mean it's good, but I've had better . They have a few pastries, that can be hit or miss. One time I ordered one and it was delicious, the next time I came in and ordered the same thing , it tasted like it was from the night before. They have so much potential to be a great place but for now if my cousin isn't in town wanting to hang out here I won't come, there are plenty other coffee houses to explore. Sorry. read more

Not sure why it's taken me so long to write this review; better late than never! This place is a gem in the heart of West Park, nestled next to Kitchen 747 (there's even EV charging stations if you're running low). Ok, on to the juicier details! The staff is super friendly and helpful; a reflection of the owner whom I've had the pleasure of meeting. The dining area is always hoppin' with people hanging out or doing some work (free WiFi, woo hoo). There is ample seating on the outside patio, some of it's covered and includes heating lamps for those chilly days. There's even an upstairs seating area for 21+ I've yet to try. The food... o-m-g... try the breakfast sandwich, the chipotle mayo is my absolute favorite condiment ever! The have an array of homemade baked goods and a full-menu (some veg options for my herbivores) I can't wait to try more of. The drinks are tasty and the cold brew will have you climbing the walls. The have lactose-alternative options like oat or almond milk. Lastly, let's not forget the creamery I didn't know existed. Proudly serving Gunther's Ice Cream, they offer tons of flavors and different options. Prices are comparable to other independent coffee shops/cafes in the area. I like to spend my money here because I see it going back to the community. MoJoe's also has a nice selection of single craft beers if you're in a hurry or are just craving a cold one. The mimosa were strong but hit just right. They bring you your food any alcohol to your table but aby other drinks you grab at the pick up window. Ambiance is great! Service was ok, didn't bring napkins w the breakfast burrito, or offered utensils. Breakfast burrito w sausage, was undersized, sausage was good, tortilla was hard on the bottom (maybe microwaved?) salsa was on point, tasty. Coffee dispenser for self service, were not piping hot. I wanted a late night snack while traveling back from a friends house and I saw this little cafe opened late and stopped in. I ordered a snickerdoodle latte decaf and a blueberry scone heated up. The latte was so delicious tasted exactly like a snickerdoodle and the blueberry scone was so rich and flavorful and especially good heated up. It was near Halloween so they had all of the blow ups outside which was really cute. I loved their little patio on the side that was also lit up with patio games like corn hole. I also want to come back and try the creamery Sid elf the cafe of which was absolutely adorable and old fashioned. The whole cafe is very cute and posh especially with their little gift section towards the front with local wine and crafts. Would definitely recommend checking this spot out.! read more

The ice cream flavors are good, but they are not consistent with the serving size. Normally, I get a single scoop that equals a double scoop at most other ice cream places. And the price is usually around $6-7. But today I ordered a single scoop and received almost nothing, it looked more like a child size single and the cost was $2.46. Again, they are not consistent with the size of the scoops or the prices. The coffee taste and the food is not that great so I never items. read more

There was a line when we got there, but it went fairly quickly. The ambiance is cute, clean, well appointed, and feels like home. Inside and outside seating are wonderful! The service was awesome!! From giving suggestions on what to try to when I asked for something to wipe the table down, they came out quickly and wiped it down for us. It wasn't dirty, just wanted to ensure that it was cleaned before eating. The food was delicious and you could tell they use quality ingredients. Wanted to visit mojos since it's opening just keep forgetting. So finally, I got their coffee drip and their cinnamon roll. Everything is ok. The roll was too sweet and too much frosting for my taste but for those that love frosting will love this! It's a busy coffee shop, all chairs are taken and definitely not a place that someone can come over and relax with a up of coffee . Kristen's Services was unprofessional, and I received an attitude when asking for a cinnamon bun in the top tray . I was told the 2 that are already previously boxed up were good. I got an attitude when I said I didn't want that.I wanted the one out of the tray that looked fresh. I was given attitude and told they were all made at the same time. I told her I wanted it to go and she boxed it up and threw it in the microwave,she didn't even ask me if I wanted to heated. She told me she was a little overwhelmed.But there was nobody in line other than some kids that she kept on going over and talking to as if it was her little brother. This place is pretty bomb!!! The fact that it's 5~ mins away from me, is even better. Their food is pretty good. Their coffee and tea is always on point. Yum, yum and more yum. The snow was falling in an early storm over the summit and we were looking to waste some time before heading over the hill. Ice cream sounded like the perfect way to spend some time. The location was quite busy between the restaurant next door, the coffee shop and the ice cream shop. We were able to weave through the coffee and coffee seating area over to the ice cream section. I was happy to see that samples were an option. I went for a few samples before deciding on splitting a single scoop between coffee and butter brickle. The butter brickle was butterscotch in vanilla ice cream. Both were delicious. The scoop size was huge so I was very relieved to have been able to split it into two flavors. The seating was nice and despite all the people sitting in the ice cream section, we found a table and enjoyed our ice cream. The quality of the ice cream was great and the price was surprising for the price. I expected more expensive. The parking lot was large. One item of note, several spots are noted only for carpool parking. Seems cool but also something I've never seen before. read more

I really hate to complain, it makes me feel uncomfortable lol. But this is an $8 bagel. The side of bacon wasn't enough to fully cover the bagel, the amount of cream cheese didn't even fill the mini to-go container, and the bagel was incredibly soft. Food was ok, needed some seasoning, at a minimum some salt and pepper. I wasn't impressed with my sandwich unfortunately, it's really hard to mess up a BLAT, but it happened. The fresh oj and lemonade were good and the coffee was strong. I use oatmilk instead of dairy and have found that a lot of coffee shops burn the oatmilk when steaming it so there's a bitter aftertaste and that happened here which was also disappointing. They have a really cool inside and outside eating area, however, and I enjoyed all of the seating. They have lots of products for sale as well from local small businesses which I found nice. The cashier was super nice and friendly. I had asked for a modification to my BLAT and she noted it in my order however the sandwich came out wrong from the kitchen. Asked to wait an additional 10 minutes for a new one which I did because what else am I going to do? All in all would go back for the coffee and fresh juice only. read more

Took the kids to get some ice cream on a Friday afternoon before going to the park here. We stood in a line with several people ahead of us but it moved pretty fast. They give small children free ice cream (check the menu for reference) so I think thats pretty cool. I ordered the single scoop size of coffee and I could not finish it so the amount they give is pretty good. The associates also were very patient with the number of children yelling and going crazy over the ice cream, they were nice enough to let us sample a few despite the long line behind us. The cafe was full that day with a mix if people just hanging out, some on their tablets/laptops and some sitting with their families/kids. I would say I'd still want to come here on a calmer day to do some work or reading while drinking coffee. Overall nice experience for all ages. read more

From the loud chairs that screech on the floor to the microwaved egg in their egg sandwich, I'd stop somewhere else. Food takes a looong time to come out. Their coffee is just off, I can't place what's wrong with it but something is off. It's a loud atmosphere and the order takers/cashiers never really know answers to your questions as you ask them. Gluten free foods is a burden to them, and often bring the food out not gluten free. If you're celiac pay close attention. I've had to send the plate back a couple times whether it be a tortilla that's not GF or a piece of toast. Sad because this is very local, and I wish I could love this place. read more

One of our favorite neighborhood spots specially after church on Sunday. Great ambience, service is great, food is great. My only complaint to management if they can fix this is that repeatedly they are out of silverware and you have to use plastic utensils that don't often cut well for the food they serve. 04.09.23 After stopping in after dinner Friday, Hubs & I discovered MoJoe's offered a food menu and decided to give it a whirl this Easter Sunday. While here on Friday, I did try their special Wild Berry Lavender Latte (iced), which was pretty tasty. Definite lavender flavor without being overpowering. Had hoped for a warm latte, but that was my bad for failing to request it that way. Not sure I'd order this particular drink again, but it was still pretty ok. Today, coming in to try the breakfast offerings, Hubs went with the bacon sandwich while I went with a bacon burrito. I also wanted just a plain coffee and Hubs ordered their lemonade. He also was curious about the pumpkin bread pudding we had eyed on Friday, so we decided to share that as well. So everything Hubs orders was very tasty!! We both especially enjoyed the spicy aioli on his sandwich and hefty amount of bacon. Lemonade was nicely iced and a bit tart for my liking, but right up his alley. Nice job!! Unfortunately, the lost star comes with my order. 1) I was handed a paper cup for my drip coffee, which was just ok flavor-wise. I saw others enjoying their hot beveys in a nice large ceramic coffee mug, and that's what I was wanting. Perhaps only specialty drinks come in the mug? Also, I'm a light-med brew gal and theirs just was a bit much for me. No worries. I'll just add the whole milk & raw sugar to enjoy. (They also had 1/2&1/2 + alternative sweetner packets) Ok, maybe this is all personal preference, but hey. It is what it is. 2) This is the main reason for the lost star: even though my burrito came out hefty, there wasn't much potato or bacon in there at all! I literally had to unwrap it so I didn't eat the whole thing wondering if there was any in there. I was super disappointed to find only a few small pieces of both. TBH, it felt like I was eating just an egg burrito. Lots of egg, no doubt. But I wanted bacon!! It made me think the chicken sausage option might've been a better choice? Who knows. It also came with a side of salsa, which wasn't very flavorful either, so I just went with the Cholula hot sauce to spice it up to my liking. What MoJoe's really has going for it is the beautiful seating, both inside & out! Today we enjoyed sitting out on the patio in the sun with the nice early Spring breeze! It was super comfy & casual, and I couldn't help mentioning to my hubby how I could see bring some friends for a nice coffee date and try their toast offerings (him their PB and me the avo!). And I can't forget to mention about the creamery side of MoJoe's. We've in the past brought some friends to enjoy some of the yummy Gunther's ice cream. I mean....it's Gunther's! And without the long drive into downtown Sac!! Sure the flavors are more limited than the original location, but they at least still have their Flavor of the Month (which happens to be Black Raspberry Oreo right now, in case you're wondering #IGotYou). Lastly, the service. I mean, it's friendly and quick. Nothing stellar but not bad at all. I'd say at a standard I expect from most any establishment. That all said, of course I'll be back. Stopped by to try their coffee today since last time we only had ice cream. The cashier was very sweet and she took our order quickly and efficiently. I like that they have some specialty drinks as well as seasonal ones! I wanted to try their snickerdoodle latte so I had that with oat milk. It was really creamy! Always love a good iced latte with a sip lid. My husband's affogato was also really yummy. It was pretty busy for a Saturday morning but the drinks still came out within 10 mins. There were a lot of people eating breakfast there. I like their outdoor seating area and I'd definitely enjoy that on a nice summer morning! read more

This review is for the cafe side of Mojoes. Great food, great atmosphere, and great coffee! The staff are always friendly and quick. We like coming here for breakfast and coffees. Their crepes are amazing! We love the market crepe and the snickerdoodle latte. For breakfast/brunch on the weekends it's pretty packed. Getting a table inside, which is already pretty cramped, can be a bit difficult. Luckily there's a lot of roomy shaded outdoor seating. Although it's a great place to get some food, their prices are pretty high but maybe it's just inflation and I haven't gotten used to seeing high places like that everywhere. But $10 for a smoothie seems a bit much... But either way if you got the money for it, Mojoe's is highly recommended! read more

Brand new coffee cafe and creamery, exciting! We went by one evening and it was packed. We had an appointment to get to so sadly we couldn't stay. I just went back this morning and had some time to try it out. Staff was all friendly and you can tell they are excited. I ordered a cranberry lemon muffin and iced mocha both delicious! My muffin was moist and had the perfect crumb topping. My iced mocha was delicious! They have indoor and outdoor seating. They have a cute little shop section with pillows, mugs, home decor and more. Love the atmosphere! I think this will be a great hangout spot. Perfect spot to meet someone for coffee! There is also a new restaurant opening soon next door. read more

The food here was delicious, but I found a ladybug in my sandwich, unfortunately. I still ate the sandwich regardless because it was that good, but it did gross me out a little to see that little guy in there.
